This is Discordia, the realm of Chaos, and this is the continuing tale of Eris and Thunder, their children Mischief and Caper, and their friends, Princess Luna and Darky. Caper tapped his chin in thought, then conjuring up a pack of cards. "Does everyone know how to play Hearts?" "Oh yes..." He just shook his head and dealt the cards out while Eris cuddled Thunder a bit. He wasn't sure if Lullaby would be able to play, but he dealt her in anyway, assuming Luna could help her. TRP Posted October 25, 2015 Report Share Posted October 25, 2015 Missy and Eris both had strong strategies, but Lullaby seemed to have had the best luck with her cards, and by the end of the first game, she was the only one with no points. "Okay..." Caper said, writting the scores on a pad, "First to one hundred and one points loses?" He had done badly, and was losing by quite a margin, but he felt confident he could turn it around. He had to win at something today! Eris just grinned as she lent against Thunder, happy with her score. (Do you want to decide how your characters are doing? Darky had a lightly bad score, having also bad luck. Lullaby clapped her hooves. She was not sure what was going on, but she was winning! Luna giggled at that. He chuckled to himself as he gave Missy two particularly bad cards, but then blinked when he was given two even worse ones by Thunder. He smiled to Eris before focusing on the game. Yet again, Lullaby had the best cards... somehow... Darky had a decent hand, but Misys had a bad one this time... He muttered something about secret luck spells as he wrote down the scores. Lullaby remained in the lead, Missy moved down to fourth, with Thunder moving up. Eris cheered a little at her stallion's success, and kissed his cheek as Caper dealt the cards once again. He now had two games left to avoid defeat... Cards were swapped, and Caper dove into the game with high hopes... ....And came out with half the points. He scowled, and conjured a glass of chocolate milk to cheer himself up. He needed just under half the available points in order to lose. His hand was typically awful, but it gave him a little joy to pass two particularly bad cards to Thunder. Payback! He couldn't help but laugh a little at his ridiculously bad luck. It was like he was being punished for his lucky rolls in Marenopoly! TRP Posted October 26, 2015 Report Share Posted October 26, 2015 Eris smiled, stroking Thunder's mane and then conjuring up a sofa for them to sleep on. She lay back on it, and gently laid Thunder on top of her, wrapping him in her tail and happily dozing off with him. Caper just sighed and trotted back to the armchair by the fire, still feeling a bit cold, and also sad about losing. He curled up on the armchair and watched the fire sleepily. Missy walked with Caper and laid with him, snuggling him a bit and soon falling asleep with him. Luna used her magic to cover herself, Lullaby and Darky with a blanket before also falling asleep.
