On Windy Skies: The Beggining (Private)

"I raised him the best I could, you'd be surprised how much he takes after you." Trax called back as he walked outside, Oakly put two and two together and slowly slid back out with his Father to give them space.

 

"What happened to his Father, Soul?" Tavi asked curiously.

Soul and Kane stared at each other for a long while in silence. "Why am I just now learning this?" Kane said stepped forward. Soul sighed. "A lot of reasons. I wish it weren't so. Your birth was one of the best things that could have happened to me, I hated to have to part with you, or your mother." Kane raised an eyebrow. "And who is my mother?" Soul looked at him with a small smirk. "You just captured her." Kane was silent for a moment before his jaw dropped.

 

Twilight sighed sadly. "It's a long story...I'd rather not go into just yet."

 

Blade leaped backwards before rushing Frozen and hit her with three quick strikes before using his back hoof to kicked her back. "You're a good challenger."

The four of them picked up from the abandoned ship and flew back to the Black Fang, "Open up the sails and continue to the Indigo mountains, lets move." Trax ordered sternly to get his crew into motion. He nodded for Soul to follow him into the Captains quarters while sending a couple others to fetch Twilight and Tavi.

 

"So what did you're old stallion have to say?" Oakly asked curiously turning to Kane.

Soul followed Trax as Kane was still watching him in shock. He hadn't said a word since Soul told him the truth about who his mother was. Suddenly Kane fainted and fell over hitting the deck hard.

Trax pause and looked back, "Yep, definitely your's." He said with a smirk, Oakly picked up Kane and carried him into the Captains quarters. Soon Twilight and Tavi were brought up by Frozen.

Twilight froze when she saw Soul and didn't know how to react. "Well hey there, good looking. Are you single?" He asked with a smirk. Twilight ran up to him and hugged him, but suddenly stepped back and slapped him hard. "You b@stard." She said coldly.

Trax put up his hoof stopping Tavi's hoof short of his face, "Don't even think about it."

OOC: Sorry for not roleplaying on here for so long. I was having a very emotional weekend.

"Well I wasn't named the first mate for nothing." Frozen Light said.

"Guess we're both in trouble." Soul said rolling his eyes. Twilight kept glaring at him. "Did you expect me to feel any differently after finding out the stallion I love is a lone wolf pirate while my son is a crewmember of him?" She said pointing at Trax.

((I believe Frozen is still talking with Blade btw))

 

Trax flattened his ears, "You say thay like it's a bad thing, I taught the Colt well, a real hard-to-kill type like his Father." Oakly grew annoyed, "So what does that make you then?" Trax smirked, "Others like me are just too Good to be killed." He said proudly, Tavi facehoofed herself, "You always were a prideful one."

Blade quickly swept Frozen's hooves out from under her and pointed the training stick at her. "Doesn't make you the best fight, does it?"

 

Twilight sighed. "Well, it's not the way I want it, but I'm glad to be reunited with you two." She said, a small hint of happiness in her voice. "Agreed." Soul said with a smile kissing her forehead. "Now, where's my map?" He said standing back up. Twilight raised an eyebrow. "That was yours?"

[Lightingstrike]

Frozen Light looked at him, "it could." She ran behind him and hit his temple.

"Appearently so, and as of this moment our first heading is the Indigo Mountains." Trax said as he placed out the map on his desk.

Blade shook off the hit before jumping over Frozen and jabbing her in the back with the staff before striking her in the shoulder.

 

"Good, that makes my life easier." Soul said as he sat in Trax's chair putting his hooves behind in head and his back hooves on the desk. "So tell me how you came across my dear filly friend here?" He said with a smirk to Twilight who scoffed at him.

"By chance actually, I didnt realize it was her ship till we got closer. Though I cant say I wasn't disappointed." Trax said with a wink at Tavi, who in return narrowed her eyes at him judgeingly.  

[Lightingstrike]

Frozen Light jumped, "ow!" She went on his head on and then ran slightly to the left hitting him on his back.

"Looks like you're having woman troubles as well." Soul said before looking at Tavi. "You messed up with her, buddy. She's gorgeous." He said with a smirk to Tavi. Twilight looked away blushing and frustrated, a little bit jealous at that comment. 

 

Blade quickly rolled over and hit Frozen in the sides with several quick strikes before pushing her away from him. "Looks like we're evenly matched. Call it a draw?"

Tavi blushed by the comment, "Please, save your flattery for the gallows." Trax chuckled, "Mind her, shes still mad she cant beat me yet." Oakly sighed as stood with Kane, hearing their parents bicker about themselves was getting annoying for him. 

[Lightingstrike]

Frozen Light said, "sure, it seems like they have returned as well." She walked to the captains quarters and knocked on the door. "Need anything captain?" She called.

"We're all good here Frozen, make sure the crew is keeping to their tasks, have Blade resure our heading to the Indigo mountains." Trax called to her.

"Well, what are we waiting for. Let's set sail!" Soul said confidently. Twilight rolled her eyes but smiled slightly at Soul's antics. "Oh, and somebody wake my son up." Soul said pointing at the still fainted Kane. 

 

Blade went to the wheel and began to point the ship towards their destination. "You heard the man, Frozen. Let's sail!"

Oakly slapped Kane across the face with his wing, "Get up Candy Kane." He joked sarcastically. Trax chuckled before nodding for two crew members to take Twilight and Tavi down to the cell, "Apologies but I cant have you two just roaming about my ship causing havoc, and by that I mean distracting my crew." He winked to them with a smirk.

 

Leagues away, a dark purple fog surrounded a pitch black ship with static lightning. A skeletal pirate entered into the captains cabin and went to a knee, "Captain, our scouts have received some news, its about your old Apprentices. They're going after the Starswirled treasure." At the desk sat a dark purple bat pony with gleaming amber snake eyes, his black hair shaved at the sides with the top in a small ponytail, two long scars ran across his face. Five other bat ponies stood around in the shadows with only their eyes glowing in the darkness, two unicorns, two pegasus, and one Earth bat. An evil smile rolled across his face bearing sharp fangs, "Excellent, its about time I paid them a testing visit." His dark chuckle boomed as thunder sounded.

Twilight rolled her eyes as she was being taken away. She looked back at Soul one final time before she was gone. Soul turned to Trax with a serious look. "You do no harm to her, understand? None."

Trax dipped his head, "You have my word old friend, besides, if something did you wouldnt be the only one at my throat." He said with a glance at Tavi who looked at him with begging eyes before being escorted out. Oakly flew outside to the crows nest, resting down he yawned with relief after being part of that horrible family reunion.

Soul turned and left the cabin of the ship. He stopped by Kane who was up but still in shock. "Come, boy. Time to make up for lost time." He said with a smile putting a hand on his shoulder.
