Kane blocked the laser fire with his green lightsaber before using the force to knock a large group of droids back from them, giving them a chance to advance. Kane zoomed towards the droids and began to cut them down.

Oakly swiped away a single shot and sent it back at the last droid, "Clear, lets go!" He said before sprinting up the slope, "Yes Sir!" Boss, Fixer, Scorch, and Sev all called out as they double timed it up behind the two Jedi. The rest of their way to the first point, were met with few resistance. Oakly slid in slashing down a droid, the Sith Cruiser now directly above them. Fixer and Scorch went to a knee drawing out their cable guns and firing them up at the cruiser. Fixer handed his to Oakly, "Good luck Sir." He said formally. Oakly dipped his head before clicking the retract button and was pulled into the air. Scorch handed his to Kane, "Go make some scrap metal Sir." He said enthusiastically.

 

Over ten klicks away, the girls had reached their destination. Hazel dropped in to the main hull of the cargo ship, "All clear." She called up before moving out of the way for the others. The ship so far was empty of life.

"We always do." Kane said, nodding to the clones before being shot up through the air right behind Oakly. 

 

Autumn and Silverthorn dropped in behind her. "Seems pretty empty. Which way do we go?" Silverthorn asked.

Oakly had already cut a hole in the ship when Kane arrived, the two climbed in unnoticed and alone for the moment. "Seems we're in bewteen guard shifts, we should keep using stealth to our advantage while we have it. Knowing Malacath from his file, he probably has the bloody ancient saber on him."

 

"Lets head to the cockpit and see if the ships logs are still there. Should tell us something at least." Hazel said as she started for the door to the ships cockpit, but she was stopped as ray shields formed in her face. A low chuckle came from the other side as a young man wearing white armored robes, stepped into the light. It was Kasey Trax, the son of the Fallen Emperor. "My my, this is a surprise, but not entirely against it." Hazel backed up reaching for her saber, but decided against it as the ray shields were in her way. Suddenly the ship started to move.

"Right. If we can sneak past all the guards and droids and take him out quickly, all the better." Kane said as he gripped his lightsaber. "Let's get going." 

 

Silverthorn grit her teeth in anger as he attempted to slash at the shields with her lightsaber trying to get through but it did nothing. "How about you let these shields down and fight us, coward!" She said with venom in her voice.

"If only it were that easy." Oakly said as he plugged in his comm watch to the ships wiring, a hologram appeared of the ships infrastructure above his watch. "We still have a long ways to go for the Ships Brigde, alright, lets take this hall way to the nearest elevator." He said point to their left as he unplugged his watch and started running.

 

Kasey chuckled, "As much fun as that would be, Sweetheart, I got bigger fish to catch. Sit tight, and brace yourselves, its gonna be a bumpy landing." He said winking before closing the blast doors and cutting them off. Hazel starred in thought before her shoulders drooped down, "Oh no, I think he's gonna crash this thing into the Sith Cruiser, the outside of this ship is stong enough to withstand the impact and peirce the Cruisers hull."

Kane took off after Oakly as they headed towards the elevator, using the force to search for the presence of any enemies that could be nearby.

 

"Wait...isn't the Sith Cruiser the one that Kane and Oakly are on?" Silverthorn asked. Autumn's eyes widened as she realized what was going to happen to them. "Kane..." she whispered to herself in fear.

Oakly hardly slowed his pace as they cut their way through a patrol of battle droids, he slid to a halt infront of the elevator and pryed open the doors to the shaft, "We'll have to do this the hard way, come on." He said before leaping up to support beam.

 

Hazel glanced around the hull of the cargo bay, "There's not a whole lot we can do for the moment, except making the crash as less dangerous as we can." 

"Good plan, it will be a little bumpy." Kasey's voice came over the ships comm system.

Kane jumped after him as they traveled up the elevator shaft. "How far up are we going?" He called as he leaped further up.

 

Silverthorn growled and destroyed the comm with the force. Autumn glanced at her before looking out a nearby window. "We have to get through these blast doors if we're going to have a better chance of not getting blown up."

"As far as we can-" Oakly said as he paused on a beam, he had a worried yet somewhat happy expression on his face. He placed a hand on his second saber as if reliving his past battles with it, but though he had always had it on him, no one has seen him use it. "A few more floors up, come on." He said hastily before leaping up again.

 

Hazel nodded and went to take a step when suddenly all three of them we picked up off the floor and pulled against the front wall around the door. "Try not to move or resist, you aren't my targets so killing you would be useless." Kasey's voice came from beyond the wall. Hazel could see he was actually helping them, oddly enough, as they began picking up speed.

Kane jumped further up the shaft behind Oakly as they got closer to their destination. 

 

Autumn looked around nervously as Kasey's force held her against the wall. "Oh no...I think it's getting faster."

Oakly forced open the elevator doors onto a patrol of droids and pressed on down the hall fast, "Come on Kane, this way!" He yelled back excitedly.

 

"Brace yourselves!" Hazel yelled out just before they crashed right into the Sith Cruiser. On board, Oakly and Kane felt the ship rumble deeply.

Kane stumbled a bit as the two ships crashed into each other. "What was that?"

 

Autumn slowly opened her eyes to see that the three girls were unharmed. "Everybody ok?"

Oakly bent his knees and steadied himself the ship shook, "The odds could go either way, prepare yourself." He said before rushing off in the crashes direction. 

 

Hazel pushed off some debris from her legs and gave herself a quick check, nothing broken, and she steadied herself standing up seeing she still stand, "I'm alright, Silver?" She asked glancing around, seeing no sign of Kasey anywhere.

Kane nodded and followed Oakly. He stopped for a moment as he felt something in the force. "Do you feel that? Somebody else is nearby."

 

Silverthorn rubbed her head as she got back to her feet. "I'm alright." She said giving a thumbs up. "This isn't good. The damage to the ship could be too severe. We may be trapped inside a time bomb." Autumn said.

"Yeah, lets get going, we can link up with Kane and Oakly." Hazel said taking the lead down the hallway from the crash area.

 

Oakly barely paused, knowing exactly who it was, "Forget him, I can feel the Girls from here, linking up with them will improve our chances of retrieving the ancient saber." He told him as he kept running.

 

Malacath stood in the ships bridge, his expression blank, "The Ship is lost, set it to self destruct and evacuate." He order to his droids before turning around and walking away, flanking him were two Magma Guards. These elite Droids were top of the line security, and have been known to go toe to toe with Jedi. Standing 8 feet tall with grey cloaks and weilding electro staffs, and programmed with a learning combatives system, they were not to be taken lightly.

Autumn and Silverthorn followed Hazel down the hall as they moved away from the damaged part of the ship.

 

Kane followed Oakly as they went to search for the girls, a relieving feeling coming over him knowing he could feel Autumn again.

Both groups turned the corner about 200 meters away from each other on the same hallway, Hazel didnt even think about it as she yelled out, "Oakly!" At that moment, the entire ship shook violently as multiple explosions rattled the interior. Halfway between the groups, the ship started ripping apart. Oakly flinched, "Run!" He yelled back as he sped forward. Hazel pushed off the wall to start running for the gap as it grew wider.

Autumn and Silverthorn used the force to quickly sprint towards the gap and leaped over them before it was too late. Kane hid the relief he felt that she had made it. "Hurry Hazel!" Autumn called as the gap continued to grow.

Hazel ran faster as the gap widened, the floors became uneven as her side fell lower, with a final push she leaped up high outstretching her hand. Oakly dove forward reaching out, it was a split second moment as they looked at eachother, their hands merely touching. Hazels face turned to anguish, Oakly just hung there as he had grabbed onto a pipe, his expressionless helme hid the horror on face as he watched Hazel fall deeper and deeper into the darkness of the ships core. Oakly let out a battle cry as he used his force to its very extent, Hazel felt herself floating in mid air, relief washing over her like a tidal wave. Oaklys hand struggled as he started to lift up, "Not Again... I wont let this happen again!" He yelled once more as he gave a final pull, Hazel came flying back up into Silver and Autumns arms, Oakly panted heavily as exhaustion swept over him and his grip slipped. For a heartbeat, the pure weightless feeling gave him a sense of peace, something he had not felt in years.

Kane saw Oakly's hand slip and dove towards him, catching him at the forearm with a strong grip before he could fall. "You're not leaving us that easily, friend." Kane said as he pulled Oakly back up into the ship. Autumn and Silverthorn both hugged Hazel tightly now that she was safe. "Don't you ever scare me like that again, you heard me?" Silverthorn fake scolded Hazel before kissing her forehead. The three girls shared a strong bond, and almost losing Hazel was terrifying to both of them.

Hazle hugged them tightly, tears starting to well up in her eyes, "Yeah, I hear ya." Oakly let out a sigh of relief, exhaustion would keep from using the force for awhile, but he was glad he could at least save Hazel. The last similar situation he was in, cost his Brothers left arm and eye. Hazel looked over at Oakly, butterflies in her stomach, she almost felt ashamed at having such feelings for another Jedi. Oakly stood up, "Come on, we have a mission to complete, we can't let the Order down."

Autumn and Silverthorn helped Hazel up and the group took off down the hall toward their objective. Autumn and Kane were the last to follow. "What?" Kane said when he saw Autumn looking at him somewhat angrily. "You said you'd stop almost dying." She said in an irritated yet joking tone before running after the others. "Like I have a choice in that!" Kane yelled back as he went to catch up with the others.

Hazel caught up to Oakly, wanting blurt out a thank you, but no words came to her. 'Why am I like this? I'm never like this? Jedi aren't supposed to feel like this!' She thought herself. Rounding the next corner, Hazel was stopped by Oaklys arm just a sparking electro staff flew by her face, Oakly caught the staff in his other hand and twirled around before sending it back down the hall. There stood several Magma Guards, an eighth had been speared through by Oaklys throw. "Great, just what he needed." As he spoke, more Magma guards appeared behind the others, Oakly dropped his shoulds, "Or not." From the opposite end of the hallway, saber noises could be heard as Malacath came into view fighting against Kasey. Oakly stepped off immediately, "Collapse the ceiling and hold them off he told them as he ran towards Malacath and Kasey. Hazel flinched in surprise and turned towards the Magma Guards, she raised her hands using the force to bring down the ceiling, but she need help.

Kane and Silverthorn drew their lightsabers and charged into the magma guards, immediately striking at them with fury to keep them away from Hazel. Autumn took a deep breath as she stood next to Hazel and used the force to break the ceiling. Soon fragments of the ceiling began to break off and fall to the ground as it got weaker and weaker.
