((I don't mind, I already got what I wanted to put in.))

Thunder sighed "well one thing or another, I think we will be seeing them again." He said not being able to shake the feeling the both of them are being watched.

((Well Metal since you're an anime  hating heathen, the term "Yandere" is someone who is possessive and obssessive to an immoral degree. Google it. Though I think Luna will be the Yandere, and Killjoy be the one who just does what Luna wants.))

((Believe it or not, I actually watched a few eps of Attack on Titan and a few of SAO with my friends a while back and it was actually alright. Not enough to make me care but it wasn't too bad.))

The next morning...

Soul stood before the gate leading beyond the Wall with a number of other Watchmen. Kane, Trax and the other recruits who had completed their training and were ready to take their vows stood with them. The sun was barely out as the cold pressed down on them. "You did well." Soul said quietly to Kane where nobody could hear him. "We will begin soon."

Blood's eyes fluttered open as he woke up back inside of his chambers. Echo had come back with him that night, but it seemed she left him early, probably to help the princess prepare for the journey back south.

A watchman stood before Killjoy's door nervously before knocking lightly, anticipating whatever could come out to greet him.

Trax sighed and watched his warm breath float up and vanish by the sheer cold morning air, Drop stood with the other Watchman as an escort, proud that he and his brother were back together again after so many years.

Echo took charge of the Black Legion, having them prepare for their journey, thoughts of her time last night with Blood hung like bats in the back of her mind.

Killjoy's eyes slowly opened as she heard the knocking at the door. She sat up in the bed stretching with a yawn "ugh it's too early...you'd think after all the years in service would make you used to early mornings..." she whispered to herself as she got up and started to get clothes on. Luna tossed and turned not wanting to get up at all "five more minutes..." she said tiredly. Killjoy sighed "no, we gotta get moving." She replied. Luna huffed before getting up. "Fine..." she said dressing herself.

They both walked outside letting the frigid cold brush their skin. Luna quickly crossed her arms hoping to keep herself warm. Killjoy as usual acted as if it was just a small breeze. The Legion soldier quickly stood at attention upon their appearence. Luna looked around "well then...I suppose we get going." She said as Killjoy nodded. She looked at troops for a moment "FOWARD MARCH!" She barked as she Legion soldiers started March out of the gate.

Blood soon came out dressed to join the others, quickly glancing over to Echo with a smile. Soul looked over to KIlljoy and Luna as their soldiers departed. "Killjoy." Soul called to her as he walked over. "The recruits are about to take their vows. Just thought I'd offer you the chance to go beyond the wall one last time before you leave. I know you always enjoyed ranging." He said to her, hiding a part of him that was actually kind of sad to see her go. Although he appeared motionless, Kane could feel how his father felt.

"LEGION HALT!" Killjoy yelled as Soldiers instantly stopped dead, standing absolutely motionless. Killjoy thought for a moment "I suppose I should see the result of my hard work training useless worms into insects." she said as she looked towards the Legion "AT EASE!" she barked as the legion stood at rest. She looked for Luna but disappeared "wha...where did she go?" she thought to herself.

Before Blood knew, a chilling presence was behind him "well now...Blood was it?" her tone was colder than the ice they stood on "My little Echo was with you yesterday.....was she not? Of course she was...and I never saw her return to her assigned room. I really hope nothing happened between the two of you..." Luna said as her glare could be felt piercing into Blood's skull.

"Of course not, you're grace. I am a brother of the Night's Watch." Blood responded, staying composed but somewhat unnerved. Soul sighed in annoyance and shook his head. "Very well. We're ready to begin." He said as the gate to the tunnel slowly lifted.

"Princess Luna, We didnt do anything last night, Blood is a good man." Echo said in a whiny tone as she hugged Bloods arm, pulling him away from Luna. Many had always claimed, Princess Luna had basically adopted Echo ever since they first met, some found it odd considering Echo was years older.

Luna just put on a smile to hide what she was feeling, but it still came out anyway since tat smile was contorted and twitchy "good, for his sake I hope you're telling me the truth...we don't want "accidents" to happen to young Blood now do we?" she said with a awkward laugh.

Killjoy sighed "Luna now is not the time." she said trying to keep her from doing anything rash "Echo wouldn't lie to you." she said with a nervous smirk. Killjoy quickly glanced at Echo "help me out here." she muttered. Luna looked at Killjoy and grabbed on to the collar of her armor "is that true? She wouldn't lie would she!?" she said now in a panic. Killjoy kept her nervous smile "Of course not...sh'es family after all." she same making waving her hand as if trying to fan something away. Killjoy's eyes flashed at Echo "Right!?" she said also in panic.

Soul sighed and put a hand on his face, "Please, everybody, we don't have all morning. Move." Soul ordered to the recruits as they were escorted through the gate by the other Watchmen. "Forgive me your grace, but time is of the essence. Are you coming, Killjoy?" Soul asked looking to Killjoy. Blood sighed in relief that Soul stepped in and gently stepped away from Echo to avoid any more tension.

Echo took nothing by it, knowing he wanted to escape Luna's wrath, she waved to him from beside Luna. Trax and Drop fell in step with eachother, "I already have a bow and quiver of arrows ready, as well as a gift coming from the capital. You know, since Tavi and I are still good friends." Drop said teasingly with a smirk, Trax frowned and sighed, "With all her beauty and kindness, she can still hold a grudge that can punish a mans very soul."

Tavi sat in her room, happily wrapping up a blackwood box with grey steel designing, seemingly happy someone else besides Trax will wield his sword once again.

  • 3 weeks later...

((ehhh....so it is, whoops.))

Killjoy sighed "yeah lets go, you lead the way Lord Commander." she said bowing apologetically towards Luna's behavior. Luna finally calmed down "wait...what's going on?" she asked as Killjoy facepalmed "I'm going with Soul to witness the men I trained take their vows and become official men of the Nights watch, I feel it is only fair since I put so much time in effort in making such a thing possible for these initiates." she explained. Luna smiled "ah, then in that case, I'll wait here."

Soul nodded to Princess Luna before he and the other Watchmen escorted the recruits out the gate. After traveling for several miles, they arrived at a clearing deep in the Godswood. The trees surrounding them had faces carved into them, some of which had a red, bloodlike liquid dripping down the eyes. The Godswood was a sacred place of worship for those who kept the Old Gods, the primary faith of northern Equestria before most of the land turned to the worship of alicorns. In the center was the largest tree with a face that looked more aged than the others. “Kneel.” Soul ordered to the recruits. Kane did as his father commanded as he looked at the great tree in awe. There was a moment of silence before all of the recruits began to speak in unison.

Night gathers, and now my watch begins. It shall not end until my death. I shall take no partner, hold no lands, parent no children. I shall wear no crowns and win no glory. I shall live and die at my post. I am the sword in the darkness. I am the watcher on the walls. I am the fire that burns against the cold, the light that brings the dawn, the horn that wakes the sleepers, the shield that guards the realms of men. I pledge my life and honor to the Night's Watch, for this night and all the nights to come.

One they all had said the vow, they stood back up. Kane turned to see something he had not seen in years, Soul smiling at him and Trax. “Welcome, brothers. You are now men of the Night’s Watch.”

((I just posted the whole vow and assumed they all said it together so that you won't have to post all of that again, Trax.))

Drop approached Trax and they embraced in a hug, "There was hardly any doubt, afterall you are pretty seasoned." Trax raised an eyebrow, "You calling me old?" He asked back before they shared in laughter. Trax walked up to Soul, "So, what happens next? Commander." He added with a sly smirk, in the past he was their Leader in the Silent Fang, but now the roles were switched.

"I'll never get used to you calling me that...how times have changed." Soul replied with a small smile. "For now we will return to the castle. We must prepare to head north of the wall. There hasn't been a ranging of this size in years, and we must make sure we are ready." He turned to Killjoy. "I suppose this is goodbye, KIlljoy. Thank you for joining us one last time. May the gods watch over you in this war you are fighting." He said with respect to a long-time comrade.

Twilight was sitting in her chambers when a raven suddenly flew through her window carrying a letter. The seal on the scroll had was the black crow of the Night's Watch. Twilight quickly grabbed the letter and opened it in panic, expecting to hear bad news of her husband and son. Fortunately, it was simply a letter stating that the new recruits had been initiated, meaning that Soul and Kane were both safe for now. Twilight sighed in relief held her hand over her heart, calming down from being scared of what the message would hold.

Twilight took a deep breathe and composed herself. "Sorry, dear. I was worried for a second. I've never gotten a letter directly from the Wall before. But it looks like Kane and Trax made it through training. They're sworn brothers of the Night's Watch now."
