Trying my hoof at fanfic

So I had an idea for a crossover fic between MLP and the Hunger Games books. This will be my first attempt at writing a fanfic of any sort. I'd appreciate constructive critisisim and comments on it if anyone wants to offer them.

Right now, all I have is the prologue. But I'm hoping to get the first actual chapter written up in the next couple days.

That's not bad at all! Looking forward to seeing more.

One of the best bits about it is that it isn't a TOTAL Hunger Games clone. Sure, it's taken the general theme of it, but it's not something like 'Hi, my name is Pony Everdeen and my sister is 12 and we have this Hunger Games thing and one colt and one mare goes in it.' You've made it different enough to catch my interest.

There is a couple typos here and there, but overall really good for a first time at writing fanfic.

I knew when I started it that I didn't want to do a direct clone. I have a lot of tweaks and twists in mind to make it different from the original Hunger Games, but hopefully keep the spirit of it. I'm also going to try to not make it too gore-filled and grim, but since it is young ponies trying to kill each other, that will be hard.
