How can I get a good Rp picture?

Hi

I've seen a lot of people with really cool looking pictures of their Rp characters. Did they make them themselves? if so, what programs did they use to do it (I'm assuming they used an imaging program ). I guess what I'm trying to say is how do I go about making a cool picture for my Rp character DarcMoun.

You can click through all of the various tabs to fully customize your pony however you want. You can also import your own image to use as a cutie mark under "Body -> Import Cutie Mark". When you are done, click on "Advanced -> Export Pony Image" and save the PNG onto your computer.

EDIT: Hah, now that I look at it...your avatar was made from the Pony Maker. I guess you're referring to something else then. xD

In my case, I just hung around the Request section of the forum for a while and had other people here draw all my character images. Though if you do that, you have to be really patient with people, so it might not be best if you want something right away.

It probably helps if you can draw ponies yourself.
