You don't have to do something literally to be part of the herd but if you feel that you think that the fandom needs your contribution then by all means do something.Besides, helping out the fandom is kind of broad in a sense. It's not just music, videos or fanfics. There are other ways you can help the fandom even in small parts. Take some of the regulars here. They donate for the upkeep of the site. They're in a way, contributing to keep the love for MLP going for this community. I enjoy making videos all the time, but it never really crossed my mind to make one for the brony community. Not yet, anyway.I also agree with Lordbrony.
