Octavia Rumors, opinians and the trutch

Well Ocativa is a mysteryous background character and we have very few offical infos we have from her. I opened this topic to collect the offical infos about her and discuss the rumors about her.

We only know that she can use her hoofs to play on string intruments and she must be famous and talented since she was able to playing on the Grand Galopping Gala.

Her colors a bit darker but remembers to one of Pinkie's sisters. I wonder if it's possible to not only Pinkie left her family's rock farm.

I don't understand why some fans pairing her with Winy.

I guess it's because she's the only other musical pony we really saw up to this point. And the way she stood up to play her cello is impossible for a pony, Which i bet contributed to her popularity(Like Lyra in Dragonshy).

The only pairing I know of is with Vinyl, which is really really adorable!

People like to pair them up not just because they're musical ponies but because they make for great odd couple. Octavia seems like a well educated, mild mannered and elegant pony who enjoy the finer things in life while Vinyl seems to be her exact opposite, a smart mouthed, rebellious party animal. The stronger the opposing personalities the more they secretly love each other, if you're wearing rose-tinted shipping goggles.

So you think it's not a chanche she would be Pinkie's big sister right? Well once I saw a fan made pony family tree where Lyra and Octavia appeared as sisters but I don't thing they are.
