Likes: Reading, Writing, Rebelling Character Summary:Morgan was found, as foal, on the doorstep of an orphanage by a young Noblepony couple as they walked to their hotel late one night in Trottingham. The couple thought she was the most adorable thing they had ever seen and decided to raise her as their own. The couple was Candy and Mort Roodmare, who where of the Canterlot Elite and to honor that Morgan was named after Mort's grandmother.Growing up in a posh, clean household in Canterlot would make most ponies become selfish and snobbish, but not Morgan. She generally did not care for the lifestyle and thought that many of the 'norms' were unnecessary. And because of this, she liked to sneak out and do other things while her parents were distracted. Things like pranks, such as replacing the salad dressing with hot sauce.Morgan had very few friends growing up in Canterlot mostly because there was very few foals. Because of this, Morgan spent most of her time reading books. Her favorite types of books were fiction and fantasy, but she still read most books. Later in life, she started writing her own stories and had even had one of them published, without her parents 'influence'. After this, her Cutie Mark appeared and her parents were happy to hear that she wanted to become a writer.Things changed for Morgan one day when she was in her adolescence, she decided to dress up like Nightmare Moon and scare the party guests during her parents' weekly dinner party. She was convincing enough to scare everyone into a panic. Her parents punished her by grounding her in her room with no books and no access to any of the butlers. Upset, Morgan decided to sneak out of the house and go somewhere fun that night. But she first had to get past her parents room. She had done it many times before but this time the door was open and Morgan heard her parents talking about her. Listening in, she heard them talk about how they adopted her after finding her in Trottingham. Morgan had never known she was adopted before now. she had often wished this was true however she did not feel like she thought she would. Looking back at all the rebelling she did, she felt that her parents regretted adopting her. But she then heard her parents say that, if given the choice, they would do it all again. This made Morgan tear up with happiness and she returned to her room.Later that year, Morgan's parents asked her wear she would like to go for a family vacation. Morgan picked Trottingham, she told the parents her reason wanted to see how it looked so she could accurately depict the city in one of her stories. She added that it would look terrible if the child of Canterlot Elite parents had made a mistake such as that. During their vacation, Morgan asked if they could visit the orphanage. Her parents nervously tried to dodge this request, but Morgan told them she had heard them that one night. Seeing the life that the orphans lived made Morgan appreciate her parents even more and when they left Trottingham they were closer than ever before. And as it turned out, Morgan was writing a book that took place in Trottingham.Once she had reached adulthood, she told her parents that she wanted to move to Trottingham and open a library. Her parents, more open after that vacation several years ago, were happy enough to give her enough to buy a house and many books. With the remaining bits, Morgan was able to convert the lower half of the house into a library.
