Minions! (Future / very non-canon RP)

Sooo I've been developing more and more of the Adventures of Rex Stallion for my pending character Sketch, in order to help move along his storyline. I think it would be cool to have an actual comic to show people rather than just say there's one.

But the more I'm working on it, the more and more I keep drawing Apostasy minions getting into misadventures. Then I thought 'hey, people play as the heroes in RP all the time... why not mix things up a bit and have people play out the everyday lives of those high-mortality minions?'

SO!

The idea of this RP is... you're an evil minion!

This RP won't be very combat oriented, more silly interaction and danger in the workplace.

But to get a better idea of what Apostacy is all about, allow me to describe the different units! In an employee orientation style for fun! BEWARE! This is a long read.

WELCOME TO APOSTASY, VALUED EMPLOYEE!

You've taken your exciting first steps to becoming one of the few and the strong! The proud and the mighty! On behalf of our Lord Titus, Archgeneral of Apostasy and Supreme Troop Commander, we bid you welcome to our ranks!

However, you've only passed your basic military aptitude tests! You still have a long road ahead of you, full of challenge and toil. However, should you survive graduate, you can hold your head up high and include yourself among the greatest military force in Equestria! Your first step to continueing your training, is of course choosing your area of service!

BASIC APOSTASY TROOPER

These Stallions and Mares make up the backbone of our military and administrative might! If they wear the uniform, they're important! However, you should be made aware that there are two different types of Troopers, both performing different functions on and off the field.

LIGHT INFANTRY

Issued gear:

Function:

Light Infantry make up the advance teams of Apostasy's Basic Assault Force (BAF). Light Infantry are ment to be quick on their feet, spotting enemy troop movements and structures, as well as make up mass attacks to deal quick damage before the enemy can react! However, being severely under-armored, Light Infantry units have been reported ot be extremely high-mortality. Enter at your own risk!

Outside of combat, Light Infantry mstly take up administrative duties such as recruiters or battalion runners, sending messages to and from respective commanders. Either this, or they're put into Apostasy's shipping center and assisting with logistics efforts to make sure our troops are well-stocked and never unprepared for whatever the enemy may throw at us!

HEAVY INFANTRY:

Function:

Heavy Infantry are a thing to be feared indeed! Armored with magic-resistant combat armor, they can stand against most shots from enemy marksman and close the distance with the enemy. These troops are heavy-hitters, often handling explosives or heavy weapons to deal maximum damage to enemy infantry and structures.

Outside of combat, Heavy Infantry act in a security role, set up in guard posts throughout Apostasy-held towns and bases. They also make up the prison guard force, watching over traitors and enemy POWs to ensure that their actions will no longer damage the glorious name of Apostasy.

COVERT OPERATIONS

Perhaps more cut-throat special training is more your speed! Attack from the shadows or run in guns blazing! There's no situation these ponies can't handle. Covert Operations trainees are subject to at least 1 year of intense psychological molding before going through another 8 months of military training. These ponies are fiercely loyal to Apostasy and the Archgeneral and often boost morale fanatically on the battlefield. There are 3 seperate fields of Covert Operations:

BLOOD BERET:

Function:

Pictured above are (in order from left to right) Captain Somba and a Crimson Gunner of our infamous Blood Beret Division. Of course there are many other weapons specializations as well, far too many to possibly list here! The Blood Berets work as the driving force of Apostasy Covert Operations. When met with a situation no one else can solve, in run the Blood Berets, defying the impossible!

WARNING:

Blood Berets have shown extreme mental degradation during their service and are often required to perform extremely unethical and immoral tasks deemed neccessary by the Archgeneral and his command staff. Enter at your own risk!

Fun fact!

The Gunner's twin barrel pack actually fires... magic! Magic shards, to be more specific. The mechanizm that loads into the pack is filled with a reformed magical crystle taking the shape of the box. Within is a pin that, when prompted to fire by the gunner, strikes the crystle and sends the shard rocketing into the barrel, where it is then propeled at mindboggling speeds! Still having a magical charge, these shards not only tear through opponents, but deal magical damage as well!

SECRET POLICE:

Function:

Very cloak and dagger! The Secret Police are whispered about by friend and foe alike, often sticking to the shadows or remaining undercover. Apostast Secret Police officers are responcible for maintaining order and morale within Apostasy owned territory, by any means neccessary. Much of what they do and have done is highly confidential. Secret Police also handle internal affairs, investigating reports of spies or defectors with deadly efficiency.

WARNING:

Apostacy Secret Police officers are always asked to commit heinous acts for the betterment of Apostasy. While a noble goal, many officers suffer from severe mental disorders due to building guilt. This field is NOT for the faint of heart!

The following Covert Operations field is EXTREMELY ethically and morally challenged, its subjects changed indefinitely to the point of no return. Unless you are absolutely certain you wish to donate your mind, body, and soul to the service of Apostasy, DO NOT apply for this field.

APOSTASY SPIDER TROOPERS:

1 H.E.L.L. Combat interface system

Function:

Spider Troopers are highly TOP SECRET, operating as the Archgeneral's personal guard and assault force when neccessary. The ponies that volunteer to become Spider Troopers are simply empty husks playing host to the Spider Pak that takes over all major functions of the body. Their minds replaced with the H.E.L.L. combat interface, wich complies with the mask in order to identify and track potential targets. The pony's personality, free will, and even their cutie marks are removed in order for them to remain 100% loyal to Apostasy. There is no leaving the Spider Trooper Corps, as to remove the Spider Pak would kill the host. Once the change is made, it cannot be undone.

OFFICER CORPS

Mabe that's all a bit much for you. But yo don't simply want to serve... you want to lead! Few will serve and fewer will lead, Apostasy is always hungry for determined, quick-witted officers to lead our troops to glory either in battle or on the homefront!

APOSTASY OFFICER:

Function:

They're in charge! The big cheeses! Whereever there are Apostasy troops, there are Officers directing them! In battle they direct troop movements and establish command posts in order to deploy troops more efficiently. They relay orders from the top brass down to their subordinates, and improvise when cut off from command to bring victory!

Outside of battle, Officers are mostly filling surpervisory roles, making sure what needs to get done is getting done, and getting done right! Every few months or so (due to these particular Officers being brutally killed by random circumstances), an Officer may have the distinct privilage of serving Lord Titus as his personal subordinate and secretary!
