Likes: Music, Singing, Flying (a lot), Cool breezes on a nice Summer day and quiet Afternoon rains.

Dislikes: Cramped tight spaces, Oysters (they go right through him), being Alone.

Character Summary: Sound Wave is an easy going Pegasus Stallion, easy to get along with and difficult to anger. Moving in a pace that's not too slow nor too fast, other ponies tend to find themselves relaxing whenever he's nearby, probably because of the relaxed 'aura' that seems to surround him. Having a mischievous streak, Sound Wave tends to pull pranks every now and then on the unsuspecting pony friends of his, such as giving people a bit of a surprise with a crack of lightning from a thunder cloud. Despite his mischievousness, Sound Wave can act mature when the situation calls for it and usually finds himself playing mediator between two conflicting ponies, but he doesn't mind much.

Being an only child, his Colt years were often quite lonely, with his parents spending most of their time at work and no one to play with at home besides the occasional baby sitter, Sound Wave would spend most of his time playing with only himself, imagining adventures and far-away places that he can go to. On some nights, he would gaze outside his window to stare at the stars, admiring them and looking up the constellations from his astrology book and always, his parents wound find him fast asleep at his little desk, the window still open and the book clutched in his hooves. But even then one would get tired of playing with oneself and pretty soon Sound Wave focused on his school work and working on his flying skills just to keep his mind off of the lack of social stimulation. But it was still not enough. He was on the verge of tears one day when no one at flight school noticed that it was his birthday at the time. Saddened and rather heartbroken that no one remembered or even knew, Sound Wave sulked off to the lonelier parts of the playground and just sit atop the fluffy clouds, feeling truly alone. Then suddenly, he remembered what his mother told him one day when he was feeling his absolute worst: "Little Sunshine, no matter how lonely or sad you are, try singing to your heart."

At first, he had no idea what his mother meant when she told him that but when he started to opened his mouth and sang to his lonely heart, he finally understood her. The longer he sang, the young Colt found himself growing less and less sad and his heart grew lighter and lighter! With a growing smile on his face, Sound Wave kept on singing and soon he no longer felt lonely and found other certain young ponies staring at him, beaming with smiles as they listened. It was then and there did his cutie mark appeared, a musical staff stretched out in a circle adorned with musical notes. He knew that this was a sign, that he was meant to sing to ponies' hearts and brighten up their days. Afterwards, Sound Wave took a great interest in music and too his surprise, found himself quickly learning on how to play the piano and guitar. Now, Sound Wave is an entertainer, often playing on Lounges and the like, he takes great joy seeing ponies who enjoy his music, although he spends his mornings working on Weather Control, after all it's his duty as a Pegasus to do so!

Sometimes, Sound Wave can take things a wee bit too fast or slow for others' liking. His 'going at your own pace' attitude has gotten him into some tight spots every now and then. Running late for work, finishing up a bit too fast, doing a job rather carelessly. It affects productivity or embarrasses somepony because of it.

Still though, There are still times when Sound Wave finds it difficult to cheer himself up with a song but he doesn't let it get to him and merely tries to find other ways to get himself out of the dumps.
