Character Summary:

Clockwork had a pretty ordinary childhood for a Canterlot pony. His father was an all round tinkerer, though he officially made clocks for a living, and his mother was a toy maker.

He was one of the last of his circle of friends to get his cutie mark. He was a fairly old colt, nearly in early adolescence when one day his father, frustrated with a project that wasn’t going to plan, went off on a walk to blow off some steam. The project was a wind-up toy spider for a Nightmare Night celebration. While his father was on his walk, Clockwork tried to fix the spider himself. In a fit of technical brilliance, he actually got the toy spider working. When his father came home, he was about to tell his father that he was sorry for messing with his dad’s tinkering, but he had got the spider working, when his father took one look at Clockwork and his jaw dropped. After a bit of back and forth between them, Clockwork finally managed to work out that he had got his cutie mark. He spent the next two minutes bouncing up and down with glee, before, in true Clockwork style, he crashed into a wall.

After that, Clockwork became an apprentice his father, working on clockwork gizmos with him. While Clockwork was competent at making clocks and other, practical things, he was much better at making toys, and vastly preferred making them as well.

When he came of age, Clockwork moved out and got his own shopfront-come-house. The shopfront itself is quiet small, and feels even more cramped than it actually is. Most of the shop is benches, strewn with garishly painted wind-up toys. The inside and outside walls are just as garish and rainbow coloured as the merchandise. The area behind the shop is even smaller and much more cramped. A small work-bench is in one corner, covered with gears, axles, scraps of sheet metal and a large pile of blueprints. An oven and stove top is in another corner, with dishes and cutlery piled up in the sink next to it. Finally, in the middle of the room, there’s a large pink futon with a teetering stack of technical manuals and fairytale books next to it, and a small gas lamp.

Clockwork is a friendly stallion, but he’s the sort of pony who prefers to have a small circle of close friends instead of a giant group of distant ones. He’s good with children and loves to see them smile. He’s extremely klutzy (as much as he hates falling flat on his face), and would forget his own head if it wasn’t firmly attached to his own neck.

Once he’s a made a promise, Clockwork would climb the highest mountain and attack the bloodthirstiest dragon to fulfil it.

I do like the look of this app - very interesting character, and a fairly cute concept as far as what he does and his motivations.

You've covered plenty of bases, but not gone into over-detailing things, and have kept it concise and to the point which helps keeps things simple to read.

Just a quick point, it's easier to use the color button to make text highlights than it is to rely on the text BB Code...for some reason, it seems to not have worked when you tried to give color examples, which is odd. Still, for the most part you can probably remove those as the picture supplied shows the colors just as well.

I'mma let others have a chance to offer their thoughts, but for me I think the character will probably work well in the RP environment! :D
