On The Road.(OPEN to anypony)

Brown Lily was walking down a dirt road.She had the sun over her head and had sand under her hooves.She looked around"Jeez.I reckon there be notin' around here for miles.Both ways!"But Lily was not one to give up easily.She kept trotting struggiling on.She climed a big hill and stopped.She took off her cowmare hat and threw it up in rapture."Hey I said it!Yeehaw!"She trotted down the hill right into a big city.She had never seen such high buildings.She wanted to go see some grass or trees or some kind of plant so she kept walking trying to find a park.....

Freesia Flash was set up with her camera and stand just outside a city she didn't recognize. This tree was just magnificent! She was just fixing the angle of her stand on the uneven ground when somepony brushed against her. She looked around and hastily apologised.

"Oh, I'm so sorry."

Brown Lily skidded to a halt."Oooh howdy!Is that a Melianthus Major?"Lily asked.The other pony opened her mouth to say something.She had a confused look on her face."Oh my where are my manners?I'm Brown Lily and you are?"She stook out her hoof to shake.

Freesia looked at the pony as she introduced herself. She wondered how this pony knew the name of the tree. (If that's what she had meant.)

"Um, I'm Freesia Flash. Nice to meet you." She took the mares hoof in hers and shook it. "What ... Uh, what brings you out here?"

((Yeah that's what she meant.))

"I heard that there is some very nice parks around these parts with lots o trees and other plants."Brown Lily smiled at the new pony."So what brings you here miss?I'm hoping to see new plants because I'm a botonist.Oh and a gardener if you need it."Broen Lily said politly.Maybe while she is here maybe she can make a few bits.

"Oh, well, I take photos of nature, and I heard that the wildlife out here is beautiful. And it really is!" Freesia smiled at Brown Lily. She wasn't up for making friends much, but this pony seemed nice enough. "How do you know the name of that tree? I mean, I like flowers and stuff but I'm not one for remembering names."

Brown Lily didn't make many friends.When your always traveling it's better to not get attached."Well it's kinda my job.I'm a Botonist ya know like I study plants and I'm a gardener too."Brown Lily smiled at the pony being friendly enough."So you take pictures of wildlife huh?That must be fun you must of been everywhere!Do you take pictures of animals also?"Then behind her she heard a bark.She looked around and found her dog Sunflower running towards her."Whoah nelly calm down Suns!"

Freesia reared, worried about this dog. She backed off a couple of paces, and took her camera and stand with her, levitating them by magic. "Um, yes. I am a photographer, you see. I specialise in plants and stuff, though."

"I've been in a fair few places, but mostly I stay in Hoofington. That's my home town."

Noticing Freesia's nervousnes around Sunflower Brown Lily said."Oh don't worry about Sunflower she's quite tame.She is just a traveling compainion."Brown Lily looked over at the city."Well are you going into the city?Cause I'd be plenty grateful to walk and talk.."

Freesia Flash nodded, wary of the dog, still. "Well, I wasn't heading that way, but I'll gladly walk with you, seeing as you're alone. I'm almost done here, anyway." She packed up her stuff and put them into her saddlebags. She wasn't going to be uncsociable and let this pony walk alone. She had been raised in a good mannered home, and she was willing to do anything she could to prove that she could be just as mannerly as any other pony.
