EquestriaCraft, by far the most accurate My Little Pony:Friendship is Magic Minecraft server, is under construction, but of course we need some help with bringing our server to be as accurate as it can be. What can you help with you ask? YOU can try out to become a builder. But first you have to take the submissions test by trying your skills at building a Ponyville house. If you pass this test you will become a builder, and have the ability to make this server the very best that it can be. Join us, and build Equestria...

The community of equestria craft isn't that strong yet, we are still a really small community but if you have minecraft make sure to check out the forum.

Equestria is coming along well, but at the moment we are only working on Ponyville.

The town hall is currently a placeholder, used from Brohoof server.

The Brohoof server is actually not accurate. I've been there, and it does not look accurate at all.

They have mostly everything wrong. They have the everfree forest to the west, when Granny Smith holds up a map that shows it to the South.

They don't have the arch near town hall, and the Running of the leaves trail is also out of place.

The cities not shown in the show are not accurate, being that there haven't been pictures of them in the show.

I think since the actual series canon about where things are located tends to vary (by episode, even!), some artistic executive decisions probably needed to be made to build an Equestria that makes sense. That's not to say one project is better than the other, as both can be equally amazing with different perspectives.

Accuracy, however, is not something either project will hope to achieve since very little data is available on how Equestria and its realm are constructed outside of fan speculation -- and the series itself doesn't even know.

For example, thar be a train running straight through Ponyville in the intro to Season 2. However, throughout the season, we'll see plenty of the inside of Ponyville, but no train tracks to be found.

For this reason, I think it's necessary for some creative stretching room, especially with anything canon-related. My point is that maybe it's not wise to devalue one project over another for the sake of "accuracy," because there's no real way to gauge it outside of a small map that was shown briefly to move the story along.
