Huckster Convention in Canterlot?

This idea struck me randomly while at work today. I dunno if anything like this has been done before or is in the process of being done, so bear with me if it is.

Basically, I was thinking about the characters I have, and remembered that one who's in acceptance limbo at the moment makes a living selling fake mystical zebra trinkets throughout Equestria. I know we also have the Flim Flam Brothers around somewhere, and various other salespony types.

The idea was this: a convening of all the hucksters, the peddlers, the swindlers and the salesponies, coming together in Canterlot for a sell-off competition and a sort of grand bazaar type deal. Like an open air market that stays for a few days, with the involved peddlers trying to see who is the best travelling salespony, able to best part ponies from their bits, all without getting any angry returning customers.

Would anypony be interested in something like this?
