  1. Twilight was a bit anxious of all the attention she was getting, but noticed the book slide towards her. "Oh, here you go!" She picked it up and held it out towards the green-skinned girl. "Well, I would enjoy the company for lunch Sunset, thank you. You're welcome to stay too Ink...sorry for the cold shoulder." Twilight quickly went back to eating some more of her lunch, noticing that time was standing still.
  2. "[Oh good job Twilight, your little muttering fit drew so much attention to you...great.]" Twilight wasn't one for TRYING to draw attention to herself, but there she was, a whole rather large group of students staring at her and the boy talking to her. "Um, actually, it's both. My name's Twilight Sparkle. But I'm honestly pretty sure you would've known that from that weird other girl who came through the portal from the different world...heh. It sounds rather silly when I say it out loud. She was getting rather embarassed, and it was quite obvious, given that she had a noticable blush on her face. However, thankfully her savior came, when Sunset made her way over to her. "Sunset! Hi! So...your name is Inkbrand? Nice to meet you." Twilight gulped down the good majority of her food, a large sandwich and an arrangement of apple slices, all gone, a small little talent picked up from needing to eat quick to get back to research and reports. "I'm sorry for causing a scene. Is there something you wanted to talk about, Sunset?"
  3. The "Unique Traits" Section is separated into the two sub-sections detailing the history with her breath magic and her maglev repair skills.
  4. Qirai Name: Qirai Hibana [Hibana Qirai] Sex: Female Age: Young-Mare - Around early university age. Species: Ryuma [Longma - Neighpon Descent] Eye-Color: Light green going from (#b3ffb3) to (#e6ffe6) Coat: Silver (#d9d9d9) with pale-green scales and hooves (#b3ffb3) Mane/Tail: Cerulean-Sky Blue (#66a3ff) for the mane, with brown (#604020) horns native of her species on her head. Her tail is the same cerulean as her mane until the tip where it's the same light green as her eyes and scales. Physique: Bulky, yet aerodynamic. Her tail is extremely long and slender, which makes it easy for her to wrap around her torso when flying under the maglev rails. Residence: Lives in a small home underneath the maglev rails in Polohama, Neighpon, for easy repairs. Occupation: Maglev Repair mare in-training/Student Cutie Mark: Maglev Front-car, streaks behind it. Unique Traits: Breath Magic: As a Ryuma, she is born with an innate draconic-style breath magic. As a member of the Hibana clan, her breath focuses on the chidori-style (aka Lightning breath), though she can do basic flame breath (hono-style) for simple maglev repairs. Maglev Repair: The Maglev trains are one of the greatest inventions after made in the world, let alone in the great city of Polohama. Well, at least that's what one young repair-mare would say if asked about them. She still attends the prestigous Polohama Institute of Maglev Advances, focusing on the repair of the rails. In fact, the repairs can make use of either the heat of the flame breath along with the magnetic properties of the lightning breath. History: Qirai was born as the next head of the family to the prestigous Hibana clan, born in the heart of one of Ryushima's oldest villages. Her parents were ready to move into one of the neighboring larger cities when she was rather young, given that Ryushima probably didn't have the best education around, along with the safety problems of being out in the middle of nowhere. The choice was second-guessed on their trip, set on hoof, down to the bustling city of Polohama. It was only intended to be a short stop before continuing to move on towards Kyoma, but the young filly Qirai was fascinated by the Maglev trains roaring past above her. She did however notice that one of the support beams had a sizable crack in it, so it basically was second nature for her to try and help. After taking in a deep breath, and before her parents could stop her, she blew the hottest flame breath she could. That not only resulted in the beam's crack getting temporarily repaired, it also caused her to emit sparks from her mouth as the breath died down. She was exhausted from that, collapsing in her parent's hooves. Waking up in a first aid station of one of the nearby maglev stops, they were...curious at the very least on how she did that for such a young ryuma. Now, she couldn't really...talk very well for a good 2 to 3 hours after such a heated breath, but if she could've made noise, she would've screamed for joy when she pulled the covers off, to reveal her shiny new cutie mark. It didn't take long after that for the Hibana family to decide to settle down in Polohama (...mainly due to Qirai's little stunt making the rail company want to keep a close eye on her) and, ignoring those beginning years, her pre-adult life was rather...boring. She graduated primary school early, so she started attending PIMA early, and she still attends classes to this day, working part-time as a repair-mare to not only earn an income, but to also hone her skills for when she can finally obtain a repair station of her own. Character Summary: Quick to react and even quicker to action, Qirai is one Ryuma you do not want to cross. She lives in Polohama and still attends classes when not working as an apprentice repair-mare in one of Polohama's various repair stations.
  5. The young blacksmith was never one for celebrations and holidays as "frivolous" as Nightmare Night, but she was always one to attend a banquet if one was held. Of course, one couldn't attend such a gettogether without an appropriate costume, and knowing this mare's diehard nature...she went all out. She decided that she might as well try for a costume that would go with her chair so, after rigging up a hollow log that she could raise up to move out of other ponies' way, she decked herself in a rather impressive-looking faux royal guard uniform (one used for more formal situations), that almost made her look like she was riding on top of a massive cannon about to head into battle. "...bout time I finished this costume. Where's the grub?" She said with a chuckle, pulling the log up to rest on her shoulder. "Ugh...I just wish more places were made wheelchair friendly." Sword noticed quite a few ponies in costume at the castle, smiling in awe as she recognized a few of the armor pieces and weapons on some of the ponies costumes. "Glad to see my skills are getting some use."
  6. Early in the morning, the week following the Friendship Games "Oooh...maybe this was a mistake. What if they don't like me? Maybe I was too quick in choosing to suddenly change schools. UGH!" The young Twilight Sparkle was having some...issues. She was supposed to be loading up a moving crate to move her equipment from Crystal Prep over to Canterlot High. Even though she was switching schools, it didn't mean she had to give up on her studies. They'd just be going at a somewhat slower pace. "Did I remember to pack the microscope? Or what about the spectral anomaly detector? Or what about the..." It would take several hours of her looking all around her lab to confirm to herself that she did not, in fact, forget anything, and it was time for her and Spike to leave Crystal Prep, possibly for good. "...Well then. I guess this is it. One final step out of Crystal Prep, and one..." ~~~~ "small step into Canterlot High." She was...for most part, a nervous wreck. She even came into the school early to have time to set up her new lab that was picked out for her. But that was all in vain, since she tried to come in early also to avoid other students. She had to have time to adjust to her new life with friends...did not help at all that there were several sports teams running through the halls as part of normal training. On TOP of that, most of these students seemed to...recognize our poor intelligent girl, yet she had no idea why. "Come on Spike, let's get your new bed set up in the lab before classes start." Once she got started on setting up her lab, putting bits and pieces on several large desks brought over from Crystal Prep, as well as hanging up her cork board, she didn't stop until she finished...which happened to be when the lunch bell rang. "Well, that beginning bell sure took time...to...ring?" The young girl booked it down the hall, realizing she missed over half of her classes due to being so pre-occupied with setting up her new lab. Luckily, she didn't have any classes scheduled for today anyway. She was given today just to get accustomed to Canterlot High, and to finalize any moving issues that may have come up. So...lunch time was quick to begin, and Twilight thought it was best to try and get to know some of her new classmates. "I mean, having your best friends is good and all, but how can you learn anything if you only have the same group for days on end? ...I should really look into stop talking to myself." She sat down at a table that seemed to not have many students around, possibly hoping that no one would actually come up and talk to the new girl.
  7. Gonna make an App for Sci-Twi, since best human-mare got taken (Sunset for life :3) Name: Twilight Sparkle Age: Mid-Teens, around 15-16 School Appearance: Camp Everfree Appearance Character Summary Section: History: Personality: Scholastic Information:
  8. Made a quick edit to the beginning paragraph of Sword's history, if that would help.
  9. Name: Sword Batielle Sex: Female Age: Young-Mare Species: Earth Pony Eye-Color: Emerald Green (#349022) Coat: Dark-Gray (#404040) Mane/Tail: Light-Gray/Silver (#BCBCBC) with small streaks of White. Her mane is rather messy, due to her spending most of her time in the forge instead of worrying about her beauty, which also results in several times her mane being coated in dark-gray ash and soot Physique: Upper body is well toned and fit, while back half of body is a bit frail due to lack of use. Residence: Outskirts of Ponyville, Formerly wanderer Occupation: Blacksmith and Decorative weaponsmith Cutie Mark: Blue Shield with an elegant silver rapier behind it Unique Traits: Weaponsmithing: While many would think the land of Equestria is not one to need of weapons, Sword learned from her travels around that quite frankly, that is not the case. She learned from several weaponsmiths the ways to make some of the highest quality blades in Equestria, however she also knows there isn't a very large need for forging weapons. Sure the royal guards need lances or the random adventurer needs a good dagger, but knowing how to make a good weapon also gives her the knowledge on how to make bad ones. These "bad" weapons suffer in their rather dull edges, giving them a lesser ability to harm another creature. For some, that would be a drawback, but she primarily makes these weapons for those who just want a decorative piece in their homes, or for those who want to learn how to fight with a blade, but wooden swords just don't have the right weight to them. They are still heavy and blunt, so they can still hurt, but they have their lethality limited. Training: Now, given that she was formerly a traveler herself, she had to also learn how to defend herself from those that would want to get her bits, or hurt her. As a result, she spent many a month of her travels, looking for ponies willing to train a pony in self-defense, which wasn't that easy given her...condition. It wasn't until she met a young mare in the midst of the desert, one that she had fallen for rather quickly, that she finally got the training she needed, being taught to wield two different styles of blades. Chakrams and an odd twin-bladed weapon that has straps that go around her hooves, enabling her to catch sword and dagger attacks as they come her way. She has since mastered combat with those two weapons, and learned later how to wield standard sabers, as well as rapiers and the katana (from her small stint in Neighpon). Her disability: The largest point that separates Sword from most other ponies who focus so heavily on combat. Sword is wheelchair-bound, and has been since she was a child. However, she never let that stop her, which led to her traveling the world. However, no right-minded pony would think a disabled mare should go on these adventures alone...but who ever said Sword was always in her right-mind? Using her skills manipulating metal, plus getting aid from the previously mentioned desert-mare, she outfitted her chair to be useful in various situations. From having slots in the side of her wheels for her chakram, to having her hoof-blades folded up and hidden in compartments in her hoofrests, and even fashioning different sets of tires for different situations, Sword's chair was tricked out for any difficult terrain she needed to get across...all except water. But she still can swim rather well...it's just taking her chair with her that'd be difficult. History: Sword was born to a low-income family, who did care for her as much as they could. However, they did feel like the young mare didn't really have the drive to do something with her life. As she seemed rather enamored with the weapons and armor of the royal guards, there idea was to send her to become a blacksmith's apprentice. It wasn't that easy to find one who would take in a disabled filly as an apprentice, but good ol' Bladehoof, the blacksmith with the metal hoof, would take on such a challenge. It was...rocky at first. Sword wasn't used to all the manual labor that being a blacksmith would encompass, but she did adjust to it over time. Her crowning moment would be one fateful summer's day, when a letter arrived for Blade to make a rather intricate-looking shield for a father to give his son, who was preparing to leave to join the royal guard. It could not have come at a worse time, as the old stallion had fallen ill just a few days prior. The job would pay handsomely, and to make sure that her teacher's reputation would not be tarnished, she set off to work. It took countless sleepless nights, but eventually, Sword had finished the shield. It was a brilliant blue-color, with designs of dragons and phoenixes on the front. She had just finished the shield, and quickly rolled on over to where her teacher was supposed to be sleeping, just to see him getting up, having recovered from his illness. She was so overjoyed that she almost forgot about the shield she worked on. It wasn't until the next day that upon waking up, and pulling the covers back, she noticed a similar blue-shield, and a bright-gold rapier behind it, was on her flank. She had finally earned her cutie mark, and that was cause for celebration. Though that would have to wait until Sword and Blade returned from delivering the shield to the customer, which Blade used the money from that order to throw Sword a pretty nice party. It wouldn't match up to any high-society party, but for a filly from such a low starting point...she deserved to have a little fun on this special day. But that being said, with Bladehoof taken care of, let's move onto the mare that taught her self-defense...the mare she would fall in love with. Her name was Grain, and she was the mare to teach her about fighting for those you care about, and for yourself. Though Sword doesn't like talking about Grain very much, it's because of her that Sword is where she is now. Grain actually traveled with Sword for the longest time, going along for the adventure through Neighpon, and the beginning of their adventure in Long Guo. Sadly, their adventure in Long Guo wouldn't last very long, as before they could even make it their, they traveled through Ryushima, where the two were ambushed by bandits. Sword and Grain fought their hardest against the small group, but it wasn't long before one of them got a lucky hit on Grain. Sword fought her hardest to make their attackers flee, so she could have time to save her beloved...but it was too late, and Grain passed on in front of Sword. She wasn't much for love after that, but she would always remember the mare who gave her life protecting her. After that whole debacle in Long Guo, she decided it best to return back to Equestria. After reuniting with Bladehoof, who was about ready to retire from his job as a blacksmith, the two decided to move towards a more civalized area of pony society, but still rather quiet. They settled to living in the outskirts of Ponyville, where Sword took up her teacher's old job as blacksmith, and her beloved's Chakrams hang on the wall above the door, so Sword could always look up and see that Grain would be there to protect her. Character Summary: Sword is the owner of a small forge and weapon shop on the outskirts of Ponyville, where she lives with her mentor Bladehoof. She is somewhat closed off to romantic connections, but is otherwise open to friendship. She puts safety of those she cares about above all, like what her lost beloved, Grain, did for her. She may seem cold at first, but get to know her, and get her to trust you, and she'll open up like a book, for anypony to learn about. Just don't cross her...not many ponies are around that can vouch for why that's a bad idea.

  11. "Rather quiet this morning..." Kindheart muttered to herself, sipping her coffee while at the nurse's desk. She glanced around to make sure none of the call lights were on, and just went back to sorting through papers. Most of the doctors were upstairs in the different wards, and as a result, she was mostly alone. Most of the documents were signed and marked, just needing to be sorted. "Ugh. I really don't want to do that sorting..."
  12. Kindheart Pegasus//Female//Young Mare Cutie Mark: A cross surrounded by hearts. Occupation: Nurse Kindheart has been a rather caring pony for many years, as she grew up caring for the younger members of her family. Once her father got sick, she decided to go to medical school to take care of him. However, a year before she would graduate, her father passed away. It devastated her family, but it didn't deter her from continuing on. She knew people would keep getting sick, she wasn't delusional. However, she has decided that if she couldn't save people from illness, she would make them as comfortable as she could while they recovered, or on their deathbeds if that was what would happen. Magelight (Magie) Unicorn//Male//Young Colt Cutie Mark: Bridged Eighth-notes, circles replaced with a heart and a tear-drop. Occupation: Student and child pianist. Magie had a rather tough childhood. His parents both passed away in a freak accident when he was really young, or at least that's what the caretakers in the orphanage told him. He didn't care though, as he was too young to remember them. He always loved music, whether listening to other ponies play it, or playing it himself when he was finally old enough to reach the keys at the grand piano in the orphanage lobby. When he turned 8, he got his cutie mark while playing a rather emotional piece, which got some respective parents to look at him, but still, no parents have taken him home. Sword Forgeron Earth Pony//Female//Mid-Young Adult//Disabled Cutie Mark: A sword behind a shield Occupation: Blacksmith for ornamental weaponry and armor Sword was raised by a loving elderly couple. They weren't related to her by blood, but they were her parents through and through. Sword had ran away from home when she was a teenager, after her parents had essentially disowned her for discovering her relationship with a mare from the flowershop. She found her way into the yard of the couple she would eventually call her parents. They took her in and nursed her back to health, and in return, when she was better, she told them she would try to get her life on straight. That was all well and good, until a few years later, when a genetic disease finally caught up with her, causing her to lose the strength in her hind legs. Regardless of what she tried, magical or scientific remedies, nothing would help her. She gave up on living her life in the hospital, and checked herself out, strapping herself in a wheelchair. A few years passed with that, and the muscle decay seemed to stop, so she was able to start working on her dream job professionally, having been making ornamental pieces while she was weak. They weren't very good for her, but they got ponies' attention to have work started flowing in. Things seemed to calm down, until one morning while Sword was rolling through the park, finding a young foal crying under the park bench. The foal cried out, and Sword was there to respond, taking her back to her mother's home. After some deliberation, Sword decided to take the foal in as her own (after reporting the abandoned foal to authorities), because she felt that if the foal's parents abandoned her like that, they don't need to get her back. So she named the foal "Leafie Sky" and they were now their own family. Leafie Sky Pegasus//Female//Infant Not much is known about Leafie's history, as she was found by Sword under a park bench in Ponyville. She lives with her new mother, and her new grandparents. More will be put in when it happens.
