I'm like 90% sure that German uses ',' when talking about decimal points. (ex: $2.00 becomes $2,00) What Nexus is saying is that even though they're used, the rules for the usage are different.

Dang, it's been a while. I'm trying to get back into the flow of things after being gone for so long, and I'd love for someone to just kind of fill me in on anything major so I don't do anything stupid trying to reorient myself. So, how has everything been? -
