  1. Why would you be terrified? What's wrong with them?
  2. I wish for the same stuff, except I want straight hair instead, because my hair's already curly.
  3. I don't have working earbuds or headphones at the moment, but the most recent ones I've used were the Bioworld Fluttershy earbuds. I got about a half-year out of them, before they broke. They worked pretty well, but they were only sold at Hot Topic, and they don't sell them anymore. T_T
  4. I hate having tonsillitis. Why couldn't it have been The Cutie Pox? XD

    1. tacobob

      tacobob

Well, the Cutie Pox is fatal..So I'd go with the Tonsillitis...At least that doesn't make you talk FANCY!

O_O Seriously?! The Cutie Pox was one of the few MLP episodes I've actually seen, and I don't recall the disease being that dangerous. Plus, talking fancy could be fun! ^_^

  5. Well, I was finally able to get the hair dye I needed for my Great And Powerful Trixie costume, but it turns out they put the wrong color dye packs in the box! Now, I have to go back to Hot Topic!

  6. Finally, I don't have to use the neighbors' wi-fi! ^_^

  7. Well, I'm technically moved in finally. I won't consider it a victory until everything's unpacked, though.

  8. Less than a week before I move, and my bedroom still looks like a tornado went through it. I guess you could say it's in a state of... Discord! *Rimshot.*

  9. Can somepony help me? I found an MLP toy, but I don't know the character's name. I do know that it's definitely not a G4 character. Its coat is white, its mane and tail are pink, and its cutie mark is a small pink circle with lots of stars swirling around it. The mane is brushable, but the tail isn't.

I'll try that in the morning, if I can figure out how.

If the mane is brushable and the tail is not, it's likely a previous gen McDonalds pony.

I figured that. ^_^ I just wanna know if it has a name, and, if so, what it is.

  10. That's right, fillies and gentlecolts! The brony who brought you... nothing... is now going to review the relatively new movie, Equestria Girls! Without further ado, let's go! First, I would like to say praise Celestia for YouTube and TubeMate! As my profile reveals, I live in Sarasota, Florida. How is this relevant? Well, because, to put it simply, Sarasota got screwed over as far as Equestria Girls. There are 2 theatres relatively close to me(Main Street Hollywood 20, and Westfield Shoppingtown's AMC.), but neither one of them was showing Equestria Girls! In fact, according to a web search, NO THEATRE IN SARASOTA WAS SHOWING IT!!!! The nearest participating theatre was in Bradenton! So, faced with that news, I realized I would have to cheat to get what I wanted. Enter TubeMate, a free Kindle Fire app which allows the user to download YouTube videos. After a little bit of searching, I found the entire movie on YouTube, and quickly downloaded it. In essence, what I have is a free digital copy of Equestria Girls, to watch anytime, anywhere, with the downside being that I have to watch the whole movie in one sitting, because it doesn't save my spot. Anyway, sorry for boring everyone! On to the review, with a synopsis of the movie itself! *SPOILER ALERT!!!! THIS IS NOT A TEST!!!! AN IMPORTANT MESSAGE WILL FOLLOW!!!!* The movie starts out innocently enough. Twilight Sparkle, now an Alicorn, is talking to her friends about a coronation of sorts. After speaking with the princesses, Twilight attempts to go to sleep. However, she has yet to get the hang of her new wings. This makes sleeping easier said than done. After Twilight lets out an exasperated sigh, the screen fades to black, and viewers are treated to a dubstep version of the MLP: FIM theme. I truly hope that won't be the next theme for the TV show. It's not bad dubstep, mind you; it's just not something I think would make a good long-term theme song. Oops! I'm rambling. Anyway, after the intro sequence ends, we see a shadowy character in a cloak(I honestly thought it was Zecora. XD) sneaking around the castle. After evading a guard, the character infiltrates the room in which Twilight and Spike are sleeping. She is able to switch Twilight's crown with a fake crown, but, as she leaves, she trips over Spike's tail, and is forced to run while The Mane 6 chases her. She is able, however, to escape via a convenient portal. In the aftermath, the thief is revealed to be Sunset Shimmer, a former student of Princess Celestia. Twilight is sent on a mission to retrieve her crown, as, without it, Ponyville will be left defenseless. However, Spike runs after her, and both of them end up going through the same portal that Sunset Shimmer went through, which, as it turns out, leads to the human world. Twilight is... less than happy with her new form, but she has no choice but to adjust to it. She soon learns that her crown will be given as a sort of prom queen prize, and she must earn the students' votes in order to leave with her crown. Sunset Shimmer, however, is bound and determined to stop her by any means necessary. As if that weren't enough, Twilight is shocked to find out that the rest of The Mane 6(as humans, of course.) have turned against each other, and that she must restore their friendship. That is all I will spoil, however. As with my MLP mobile game review, I shall now list the pros and cons. Pros: Good fan service. Fluttershy says "yay!" and is an animal-lover, Derpy shows up, we get to see Vinyl Scratch's eyes, Scootaloo does The Chicken Dance, and Spike still has a crush on Rarity. The music is pretty nice, especially "Helping Twilight Win The Crown." The characters look nice, although Applejack is the only Mane 6 member who has normal-looking skin. The movie appeals to lots of people. It's not overly feminine, but, at the same time, it looks pretty cute. Fluttershy is ADORABLE!!!! Seriously, I thought I was gonna have a cavity by the end of the movie! Cons: Almost every character in the "human" world looks like they have some sort of skin condition! It could've used more cameos. I suggest Octavia. Also, SCOOTALOO HAS NO LINES!!!! T_T It was a little short. I didn't expect a Harry Potter-length movie, but it could've used 10 or 15 more minutes. Then, maybe, there could've been more screen time for characters that deserved it. Has anyone seen Alvin And The Chipmunks: The Squeakquel? Imagine that movie, but with MLP characters. That's Equestria Girls. I give Equestria Girls 8.3 out of 10. It's ABSOLUTELY worth watching, even if you're not a brony, although you'll miss some of the jokes. I just hope that, if they make a sequel, they have a better storyline, as well as more screen time for some of the side characters.
  11. To quote Fluttershy, yay! I recently came into possession of a digital copy of Equestria Girls! I shall watch it posthaste! <3

  12. I decided that the next part of my Great And Powerful Trixie costume I'll work on will be her cutie mark! I originally planned to draw it on my face with markers, but I have now decided to incorporate it into the costume as a prop. I found a toy wand that has a little star on top! I just have to paint the handle blue, then tie a blue ribbon to the wand(to simulate the blue mist in the cutie mark.)!

  13. Well, after a misunderstanding that resulted in me being detained, I now have a bunch of flower seeds. When I move to the new house(in a week.), I'll be able to plant them. Once the flowers bloom, the yard will be full of Fluttershys- I mean butterflies.

    1. TrixiePony

      TrixiePony

      Yard full of Fluttertrees.

      XD Yeah; that, too.

  14. This status update isn't MLP-related, but I need to say this. My grandfather died about 2 years ago, and I wanted to make sure he would be proud if he happens to be looking down at me. Well, his spirit lives on! He used to love the Tomb Raider games, but, because they're so hard, he never got to see the end of any of them. So, in honor of him, I wanted to beat the games, so that at least I could see the endings. Well, as of about 20 minutes ago, I BEAT TOMB RAIDER II!!...

  15. I'm feeling a little under the weather, but it'll take more than a sore throat to keep me off of this site! ^_^

  16. I got my hair cut today for the first time since last December! No, I'm not slobby; I just don't trust hair salons.

  17. I haven't seen every episode, nor have I seen Equestria Girls, but, at the moment, Babs Seed is my favorite MLP song. Second place would be So Many Wonders, and third would be What My Cutie Mark Is Telling Me.
  18. While I was taking a walk to the drugstore yesterday, I saw something sparkling on the sidewalk. Upon closer inspection, there were 4 objects. They appeared to be fake gemstones, similar to Mancala pieces. Now, I don't have to buy acrylic gems for my Great And Powerful Trixie costume! Yay!

  19. I found a straw hat in my bedroom. My first thought when I put it on was "yay! I'm Applejack!" XD

  20. Packing up stuff is hard. I'm moving in about 3 weeks, and I'm not even halfway done!

It's time like these where having a wardrobe to Narnia would be perfect. Just stuff everything in there, then take the Wardrobe with you on one truck, non?

    2. ArdillaVerde93

      ArdillaVerde93

Definitely. Plus, some of my stuff won't even fit in any of the boxes!

      tacobob

Lemme help! I'll jump onto your stuff until it fits!

  21. Took a look around the new house today. I kinda stopped listening after the word "pool" was mentioned, though. I couldn't actually go swimming, because I didn't have my trunks, but I splashed around a little.

  22. Well, after making Pinkamena in SoulCalibur III, I decided to make more MLP characters! So, now, I have Rainbow Dash, Rarity, Applejack, and The Great And Powerful Trixie! I'm practically remaking Fighting Is Magic! XD

Trust me, I know. ^_- Plus, getting to the really deep customization elements(like clothes and wallpaper/carpet designs.) requires extra programs, which are free, but not even approved by EA. It's like using an Action Replay.

    3. Kodokuna

      Kodokuna

Lol. Which is why I stick with RPGs. Because of easy, on disc, customization.

    4. ArdillaVerde93

      ArdillaVerde93

Totally understandable. I'm not a good enough hacker to be able to understand Sims customization. XD

  23. Well, Pinkamena has invaded my copy of SoulCalibur III. My thought process was something like "there's a weapon in the game called Giant Butcher Knife? TO THE CHARACTER CREATION MODE!!!!" XD

  24. Why do I willingly watch videos that I know will scare me and make me afraid of my own shadow, like Fluttershy(who, by the way, is best pony.)? Freaking scary British PSAs. T_T

Let's see... There was Protect And Survive, The Finishing Line, Apaches(I think that's what Tacobob was talking about. Kids play around on a farm, and die horrible deaths. One kid gets crushed by a truck, one kid drowns in a slurry, and one kid accidentally drinks Paraquat. I never finished watching it, but I plan to, if I can find the next part.), When The Wind Blows, and a few others.

    3. tacobob

      tacobob

Horrible Deaths! Those are the worst kind!

    4. ArdillaVerde93

      ArdillaVerde93

True, but I watch the videos anyway, because they're educational to some extent, and because it's fun to know what they used to be able to get away with on TV. Plus, the deaths don't usually scare me(I play gory games, and I've seen every episode of 1,000 Ways To Die, so I'm kinda desensitized.), but it's like the Emergency Alert System. It's MUCH scarier at night!
