Physique: Tall, lithe, and graceful

Residence: Formerly Canterlot, currently moving to Ponyville to assist Cashmere Needles, his cousin

Occupation: Tailor, with a love for embroidery specifically

Cutie Mark: A red spool of thread with a string of it flowing through a needle and curving downwards



History: Perryton's Father was Cashmere's Mother's brother! Which makes them cousins, him taking after his father strongly, and due to this, both he and Cashmere share purple butt splotches, which were something a young Perryton anguished over in his youth, claiming he looked like he'd sat in grape juice!  Fortunately over time the young  unicorn grew to accept his "flaw" and even seemed to find new ways to enhance a certain costume  around it! At a young age Perryton loved costumes!  The fancier, the more detailed, the more time consuming ? The more he adored it! So while his dear cousin went into customization to the client, Perryton however flew head first into costume design.

He received his cutie mark after with a limited budget, some old clothes, and a few beads, was able to whip together a wonderful Star swirl the bearded costume for Nightmare Night, it was during the process of carefully using tiiiny white glass beads woven with wire to make a faux  and glittery beard that he realized this was what he loved, attention to detail! The creation of something that was just a story, or an idea! Giving it life! He was so happy about his cutie mark that his costume had 2 squares on the flanks to show it off.!

From there he studied exclusively in Manehattan, renting a small apartment, falling deeply in love with the hussle and bussle of the city, and especially for BridalWay! He apprenticed under a mare who designed very specific and finicky costume pieces for a huge production of "CinderFilly" She had even hand crafted the crystal slippers for the costume! She was his IDOL!  Yes Crystal Flare was a mare above all else

Alas when she passed away rather suddenly, the hole  in his heart couldn't be replaced by Manehattan any longer, it took a few short letters to his cousin in Ponyville, before the other packed up everything and set out to start a brand new adventure!

Character Summary:  Perryton is the light hearted sort of pony, always with good intentions, a wonderful attention to detail, and the whimsy of a colt! Alas he is also very hyper focused and unable to just drop a task, he HAS to finish it once it starts or it will never get done....

Perry is a polar opposite to his cousin, the difference is in their similar but different  cutie marks! While Cashmere's red spool has the needle sticking through the thread, to show his proper personality, Perryton's flies free, to show his preference to do things on the whim, or make last second changes to a design to make it pop.

 

Though he is saddened by the passing of his mentor, he is trying to find inspiration even in sadness, and with a smile on his face, and a hope deep in his heart to one day live up to her legacy and talent, he persists forward, unyielding to wind, snow, or- 

Actually if it starts to rain all bets are off and he's staying inside with a nice book, and a spiced cider....
