Character Color: His fur is a snowy white in most places, though he is also covered in tiger-like markings that are black in color. 

 

Mane/Tail: He has a sort of mane, consisting of more white fur braided into a cornrows-type style, with small trinkets braided into the ends of them that look like bones. His tail is like that of a lion, sharing the same colors as the rest of his body. 

 

Physique: He is a rather large specimen, very physically imposing. He is comparable in proportions to the larger Diamond dogs usually set to guard duties. He also possesses a pair of large horns that curl forward and dip down past his muzzle which have metal bolted to them in the shape of a skull. Numerous scars crisscross his body. 

 

Residence: Wanderer, though still considers the Crystal Empire to be home. 

 

Occupation: Knight of Sombra.

Unique Traits:

Magic: The magic he employs generally goes towards defensive and utility purposes such as creating shields or teleportation. His teleportation is usually employed as a shadowstep kind of move, moving short distances at a time, and usually only in battle. The offensive magic he employs is mostly limited to enhancing his strikes or firing blasts at enemies. 

 

Fighting: His style includes the use of two swords, as well as a shortbow for farther enemies. His swordplay tends to be where his teleportation comes into play, keeping the enemy off balance by striking hard and fast from unexpected directions. He has applied the same idea to ranged combat before though, making an arrow heading for someone's chest hit them in the back, for example. 

 

Pact: He has made a pact with his liege to serve him in whatever capacity is needed, giving him increased magical power over his base self. 

 

Allergies: Having spent his entire life before his journey in and around the Crystal Empire, there are plants he had never come in contact with before. Unfortunately for him, their pollen doesn’t agree with his nose, and he sneezes like a kitten. 

 

 

History: Miles had lived near the Crystal Empire for as long as he could remember. From what he heard from his parents in his early years, his family had fled their home in Neighpon before he was born to escape some bear that was terrorizing the area. In any case, he would spend his early years staying near his family, playing and talking only to them due to their isolation from the actual pony town. He was especially close to his twin sister, who was the younger of the two by about three minutes, according to his parents, a fact he liked to lord over her. 

 

The day he met Sombra was a harrowing one for him, as he had left his family’s home to go hunting, easily dispatching what little prey he could find. One thing he couldn’t fight off, however, was the weather. He had neglected to prepare enough for how bad the storm was, and was soon lost. Not only that, it was cold enough to be a problem even through his fur, and he was in danger of freezing. Wandering around for a while left him tired and hungry as he finally collapsed not far from the Crystal Empire’s borders where he was discovered by Sombra and his friend, who both helped him get back to full strength. After that, he felt he needed to repay their kindness, but he wasn’t sure how yet, so he left after hastily promising to repay them. After getting his bearings, it was easy to find his way back home. 

 

It wasn’t until Sombra had taken over the Empire that he came up with a way to repay his debt. Traveling to him, Miles made a pact with the new king that as long as they were both alive, Miles would serve him faithfully. And so he did, all the way until Sombra sealed the Empire away, him included. The spell affected him differently though, maybe due to his race’s unique traits, but he stayed sealed away for some time after the Empire’s return. When he did emerge, he couldn’t sense his liege anywhere nearby, but he could still feel the pact in effect, so he set out to go and find Sombra wherever that would lead him. 

 

Personality: Somewhat grumpy and serious, Miles is a very loyal military-minded individual. He is not subtle, much preferring the direct approach for all situations. Despite his tough exterior, he does care about his allies and friends, though they pale in importance next to Sombra. 

 

Summary: Loyal to the death, this knight of Sombra is on a quest to reunite with his liege, and he won’t let anything stop him. 

 

(Side note: I made this character with RexDraco’s version of Sombra in mind, and I have talked to him about it.)
