Dr. Spin Tale and Twilight Sparkle-

Dr. Spin Tale and Twilight Sparkle- A Princess has many questions to ask as she looks out over her land, and few of them are as unnerving as the state of her armed forces. Current Canterlot records are a bit shaky on them as the need for conflict has long since passed, so she visits his museum. From there she runs into the grumpy if informative Spin Tale, who despite her reservations she is forced to spend some significant time with. She discovers that he too has issues with friendship- the sort she once had. She does her best to get him out there and over the months of her research, they grow close as friends. She respects his dedication to a topic that receives little discussion Equestria despite the honorable ponies it discusses and the breadth of his wit and charm(even if hidden layers of grumpiness), and in him she finds one of the few ponies she can find in all of Canterlot that doesn't bow to her like a goddess because she is an alicorn. From this shared respect their love blossoms.

Celestia x Celestia-

Celestia x Celestia- The Princess has such boundless, fantastic love for all of her subjects. Hate does not have a place in her heart- even her enemies are simply pitied. These positive airs can blind some to a simple truth- she loves everypony, but herself most of all! Nopony in history is as beautiful or regal as she, nor as humble with her power or intelligent. Indeed, the only match fit for a Princess of her caliber is herself, and while she has had many wondrous relationships in the past, each one has only added to her deep reservoir of knowledge that she applies lovingly to herself. Indeed, Celestia's love for herself is a love for all those who have touched her over the many generations.

Detective Blueblood-

Detective Blueblood- Blueblood is an oaf when it comes to his dealings with ponies and commoners alike, but that personality hides a well-educated and sharpened mind in many fields. Leading a life of such well-heeled luxury bores him, and he likes to solve mysteries as a hobby. In a way his oafishness serves as a clever disguise, as few ponies expect such a rude and crude stallion to piece together such mysteries so quickly and effectively, and his always 'gentlemanly' ways and dispassionate way of going about it further armors him against expectations. He got his start when he was a young stallion whose inquisitiveness after a night of cider led him to stumble upon a failed assassination attempt against a Royal Guardspony. While Celestia's Service went about their task, the intrigued Blueblood involved himself and he hasn't looked back since.

Applejack's Foal

Applejack with a different species foal- Love in Equestria knows no bounds of gender or sapient species, and Applejack falls in love with a pegasus. Marriage soon follows and even sooner after that, her first of three foals. Only one(the first) would be a pegasus, and she treats her like she treats her brothers. Cortland Apple grows up to be a valued member of the Apple family, Applejack's experiences, successes, and failures with Apple Bloom helping her teach Cortland all she needs to know in the best way Applejack can. Cortland lacks the clear kicking out with hind-legs strength of the rest of her family which makes her feel like somewhat of an outcast, and while Applejack finds a way to utilize her talents splendidly (earning her a wind cutie mark), this only creates a further sense of separation. She gets older and like any mother and daughter they have their share of fights, which is doubly hard on Applejack as chasing after a pegasus is even harder than you'd believe! Of course, for all of Cortland's fiery independent streak, Applejack raised her the Apple way and she never abandons her family. After the farm passes onto her younger brother Buckin' Bronco, she takes the time to see the great pegasi cities before coming back to Ponyville to run the weather above Sweet Apple Acres.

The Nightmare Everlasting

Nightmareity x Applejack- The battle for Ponyville is a draw, with neither side coming away with an advantage. However, Applejack sees that her friends and family back home are suffering terribly, and strikes a deal with the proverbial devil. In return for her enslavement to Nightmare Rarity on the moon forever, Nightmare Rarity promises to never again attack Equestria. The deal is sealed when the Element of Honesty passes to Celestia, and the Mane Five plus Celestia use a spell that eternally traps those on the moon on the moon. Applejack becomes Nightmare Rarity's servant, doing any number of degrading activities for the pleasure of her forever master. Applejack is unbowed and unbroken however, and her everlasting resilience dedication, courage, and honor strikes something deep with Nightmare Rarity. Memories of what seemed like a simpler life in Ponyville threatened to defeat the Nightmare, but Rarity was unable to fully break through the veil of hate and darkness. Still, this brief glimmer of hope changed Nightmare Rarity, who could no longer deny her feelings- and would no longer deny herself the relationship she had dreamed about on the surface, and makes Applejack a Princess of the Night Eternal along with her. Applejack became the Nightmare's one and only, which was a touch of horror that even she could not endure. However, she too could feel Rarity's beating lovely heart from within and her own feelings blinded her to the truth: Rarity was forever consumed by the Nightmare, and with Applejack's willful belief in her possible salvation, so was she. Applejack believes that someday she can save Rarity. It is a foolish belief, and one that has doomed the rest of her eternity to this waltz of love, despair, nightmares and foolish hope. But love is blind and Applejack is as stubborn as the nightmare is real.
