Stallions.... She was beginning to remember why she was annoyed at them so much. Their ego and overbearing pride to get the job done. Can't they just say "thank you" and be happy that they're being helped at all? Why do some Stallions always have to play the "I'm tough don't mess with me" attitude? At least the one with the sword was honestly trying to help. Argenta could never get why some mares would swoon over such a stallion. He did look handsome but, looks are just the tip of what a stallion should be. "Sigh..." She fixed her hat and coat. "You can pick up your hammer by the door on the way out. I'll be along until I can notify the other officers that you are on official business with me, SO YOU DON'T GET ARRESTED AGAIN." "And you..." She glanced to Dunder. "Dunder was it? "I'm letting you off the hook this time. Just make sure I don't catch you trotting around my streets with that sword. At least get a permit to carry it!" She got up from her chair, nodded annoyingly at the two and went to speak with some of her fellow officers.

The Mayor kept the fliers in her saddle pouch and made a mental note to post some of the flyers at her office's bulletin board when she got back. It was the quickest way for her shop to get known since a lot of ponies frequent the bulletin board by the Town Hall often looking at news or for work. She took one last bite before the bread disappeared in her hooves. Satisfied and in a good mood, she took one more sip of her coffee. She enjoyed her conversation with Semolina so decided to ask her a few more questions. "Oh I'll be here for the next two days. Any sights you could recommend for me to visit?"

It seemed that Semolina was about to tap her hoof? She somehow paused and started writing on her notepad and then placed it in front of the Mayor to read. She knew that this was probably going to be the method of communication but it didn't bother her. Meeting new ponies always gave some sort of joy in the Mayor's mind. "Oh then you're pretty much new in town too?" She sipped more coffee. "Hmmm. Tell you what. If you have a few fliers or business cards around, give them to me. When I get back to Ponyville, I'll recommend your store to anypony who visits Trottingham. Your little store deserves the attention. And I'm sure that the moment they smell your freshly baked bread across the street, they'll come flocking over." She nibbled more on the bread and took another sip of coffee. She truly hasn't tasted anything like this not even in Ponyville. They had fine bakers back home but none as dedicated as this. "Oh! Before I forget, I'll buy a few loaves of bread from you before I leave for Ponyville in the next two days. And this amazing jam as well."

The Mayor smiled as Semolina poured her another cup of coffee. She had been taking her sweet time nibbling on the jam-filled bread. She reminded herself once again to pick up at least a loaf of bread before she went back to Ponyville. Seeing as the other customer had settled down on their own corner of the store, she decided to try to know more about the gracious store owner. Semolina wasn't exactly the talky type so she wondered how she could effectively speak with her like how she could talk to other ponies. Maybe she had planned for every sort of reply on that little notepad of her's. If not then that would mean she had to write down everything on paper and that would take a while. The Mayor went ahead and asked anyway. "Uhm... So, how long have you been in this business? I can't imagine how many customers you must have with your amazing bread."

I see you posted, link to your application please? And I'm a bit sketchy at your post... a metal box? Creating a crater? I would have appreciated if you posted and asked us about it. It somehow ruins the thread for us, imho. I just don't know how we are going to adjust for this. I'm seriously considering having that post removed

How bad is it to go to the station and explain yourself like this rather than being detained now?" Argenta couldn't comprehend the reasoning of some ponies. They may have good intentions but the wrong timing and execution. Now she is being placed as the guilty party as Martel tries to play with her conscience. Why does almost everypony try to do this? It was her one weakness, in a sense but she had her duty to perform. She sighed. "I'm going to regret this..." She facehoofed. "Private, unchain him." The confused stallion just gave her a look but knew well enough not to question orders from superiors. "I'll let you go on one condition." She raised her hoof to make a point. "I'll come with you. We apprehend him together, you keep water reward he is offered to you. All I want is to bring down this so-called criminal of yours. I'll be watching but that doesn't mean I'll stand idly in at the side when something happens. Am I clear comrade?" "As for you," she looked at Dunder. "You really need to work on your hero entrances." She unlocked his chains as well. "You're free to go but please try to get a permit to carry that sword around?"

As some of us discussed in chat, its all in your "point of view". Whatever seems right to one person seems wrong to another and vice versa. I respect your opinions but I'll leave it at that. If you already have a character created and approved, you can practically start anywhere. You can start your own thread or you can join an existing one. Just make sure that you ask permission to join some threads before jumping in blindly. Some groups like to talk it out in PM what they're going to do in the RP. "How do I create a Character?" You can create as many OCs as you like but for Cast Characters in the show, there's a special process for applying them. Some Cast slots are taken so look at the available list for them. It's best to read the link I gave above. "What are the rules governing what you can and can't do when creating a character?" See the link on that I posted above under "how do I create a character". "Once I've created a character what then?" Wait for it to be approved then you can start RPing in the appropriate RP sections (Mane RP, Free for All, Crossovers, etc). EDIT: Lol Tales ninja'd me! Anyway, if you prefer tabletop PNP RPGs we have a few groups doing Ponies and Dragons (Dungeons and Dragons) and Fallout Equestria PNP, with the whole rulebooks and dice experience.

As for the additional lore that KKat talked about, she mentioned about 3 groups prominent in Stalliongrad, one of them the Steel Ranger Contingent. The other two are ponies from 2 Vaults that opened up recently. One vault had sheer technology and firepower like the rangers (they also controlled the healing fields farming for herbs that make health potions) while the other is a whole group of peace loving pacifists (remnants of the Ministry of Health, in other words Fluttershy's followers). Below is part of a log from the chat I witnessed KKat explain this new lore. I don't recall any Griffon principalities operating in the fic, unless I have forgotten and missed that part. Been a while since I've read FoE, though I am reading FoE : PH right now. So when do we start this? I'm considering throwing my Griffon, Light Gentlebeak into the action.

I don't see what's wrong with playing the leak. The Mane6 dev themselves said its okay to play it but not to expect any help/support from them. What's done is done. Besides this should sate the hungry gamers who have been waiting so long for this to come out. Call it an impromptu beta of sorts if they must. Yes its their "baby" but they don't own any rights to it technically other than the hard work and love they put into the game. If you look at the big picture, they're just another group of bronies who have done amazing community content for the fans much like what the musicians, artists and fan animators. There's nothing special about them. They're doing this because they love MLP much like every other brony out there and want to share something unique to the community. So exploited? Maybe... but that's an exaggeration., At the end of the day this was just another "hobby" with a passion. Just because some of us wants to play the leak doesn't mean we're guilty of "disrespect". Some people just get too sentimental about it which sometimes annoys the heck out of me, but that's just me. Like they said in their open letter. They've learned their lesson in this incident. Now they have to face the fact that whatever damage has been done with the leaked version, they have to do better and just let it slide and go with the flow. This should be their final beta teaser for everyone now that they're opting for in-house QA and internal testing. Besides, what's there to spoil? I mean its like everything they've shown in their livestreams and demos. Nothing to spoil but the satisfaction of feeling the game firsthand though unfinished it may be. I've worked with game devs before. This is to be expected and contingencies should have been made. If anyone is to be blamed, its partly the devs fault as well. They should have seen this coming with they hype that they've built up until EVO came out. So am I gonna play the leaked version? Why not? Aside from the moral backlash that some take way too seriously, I don't see any problem. Does this mean I don't have respect for the devs? Sure I do, but it doesn't make me bad for playing it. It's like telling a dog to not eat the food in front of him after enticing him for so long as he drooled on the side. I feel bad for them, yes. I know what it feels like. I've been there. From my observations, the fandom is just blowing this thing way out of proportion. We all have our own views. Some of us will play it, and some of us would rather wait for the final build. Each to his own. Just my two cents...

The sight of two more ponies seem to delight the Mayor a bit. She hadn't expected the turnout to be great for the first day alone. She had to finish her interview with Percy first before she could go out and greet the new comers. This was unexpected to say the least. With the way the hiring was going she could tell that there was a potential candidate among the bunch. The two ponies waiting outside seemed like to have a story of their own. She couldn't wait to talk to them as well. Hiding her glee, she paid attention to Percy as he began to answer her questions. "So Percy..." where were we? "Ah the questions yes. Please do continue and forgive me for the interruption."

This would be a cool campaign if done in PNP. I'd love to help you out being a GM but I got my hooves full being GM to a live PNP FoE chatroom-based game already. So I prefer being a player since this sounds so interesting. Still we'll see, as GM-based forum games are much more difficult to handle. I have a few questions though. 1. Does some of this take place in Stalliongrad? If so I'd like to share some new lore about post-apocalyptic Stalliongrad. I frequent the Fallout Equestria Resource Chatrooms and KKat adds some stuff to the lore every now and then. Would love to share with you what I know. 2. Since you are involving the Steel Rangers, is this the original "WE OWN ALL YOUR TECHNOLOGY" faction? Or is this the "WE HELP EVERYPONY" faction? In the FoE Fics, the Steel Rangers split up when Steelhooves decided to abide by the principles of Applejack therefore creating an "Outcast Steel Rangers" faction. 3. And since we're on the topic of FoE canon, what timeline does this occur? Has Little Pip (FoE) / Blackjack (FoE:PH) already left their stables and caused significant changes around Equestria? Does this happen before any major events? Or is this its own timeline? 4. Also New Applelossa is in Red Eye's territory as the town somewhat indirectly answers to him. It's gonna be difficult for Steel Rangers to setup base there since he has Griffon patrols in that area. 5. As far as I know, the "largest broadcasting station" is the one in Tenpony Tower in the Manehattan ruins. The one controlled by Homage aka DJPON3 making her broadcasts across the wasteland. I'd really love to have my Griffon be a part of this since she's a mercenary and all. That's it for my questions... for now.

To my Griffon comrades. The Griffon FoE RP is up: Fallout Equestria - Flight of the Talons. I'm sorry it took this long. I know I promised this like a week or two back but things in real life just kept biting at me. I'm ready to do all out RPing this time! Others are welcome to join but please read the OOC info included int he RP thread.

While this is in the free-for-all 18+ section that doesn't need real apps, I prefer to know the quirks, strengths, weaknesses and personality of those who I RP with. 2. For this RP I prefer Grffons and Pegasus to join in as I plan for a lot of flying around during the course of this RP. Other races like unicorns, earth ponies may be acceptable if they figure out how to fly. 3. This RP will do the proper Fallout Equestria / Fallout Equestria Project Horizons lore as written by Kkat and Somber. 4. Give it time. It's very difficult to get RPs especially during the pony drought. Why not join other existing open RPs instead?

As funny and "intuitive" the app is... I don't see how you can RP with this in the Mane RP section unless you do some crazy weird thing with Pinkamena Dianne Pie. Is this a joke or an attempt to troll? I'm just curious...

Heh... its typical for the RP to go into a lull in between seasons. As for me I've been concentrating more on my Pen and Paper RPs (Fallout Equestria) as of the moment but manage to sneak in a few RPs in the mane RP every now and then. Especially now that warnings have been passed along to FiM Cast members, expect the RPs to rise again. I had to post on dead threads just to formally exit The Mayor from it to avoid getting the "inactivity" warning.

Well then, I'll be sitting this one out it seems.

How far is the crash from Stalliongrad? I may be able to get Argenta into this since its on the North section of the RPs. I can make Argenta part of the rescue team coming from Stalliongrad since her unit was already out in the mountains doing military exercises with some recruits. A Pegasus messenger flies to her unit informing them that an airship failed to arrive at the designated time and that scouts reported seeing an airship going down in the area. I'll have to post a bit later until the actual crash though.

Of all the applicants she had so far, Percy was probably the most unusual. Now why would a soldier in the REA want a lowly job as an assistant? What would happen when he is suddenly called by his commanding officer and he had to leave? She motioned for the stallion to have a seat and couldn't help but notice the forced accent in his voice. "It's alright Percy..." She smiled. "You don't have to hid your accent from me. Talk the way you normally do. It's easier that way yes?" Honestly, the Mayor did not know how to begin asking questions. She had never talked to a service pony like this before and was wondering what his motivations were for wanting to be an assistant. She gave the resume a quick review then glanced at him. She lifted the cup of coffee on the table in her hooves and took several sips before she began to talk. "I'd have to say, this is going to be a rather interesting interview." She said as she placed the cup down on the desk. "I was never expecting a soldier to take interest in becoming my assistant." Shifting her glasses she stood up from the table and paced around, momentarily checking on Geary and Sleuth then coming back to Percy. "Now why would a soldier like you want to be my assistant? Surely with your skill set, especially being a medic, you'd do more good at the Ponyville Hospital. So what stuck you to decide to take this boring desk job if I may ask? Let's say I hire you, what of your other duties to the crown? What if your commanding officer suddenly calls you to report for duty?" The questions seemed harsh and direct to the point, but she figured out that being a soldier had hardened him to questions like that. She was more curious personally to know why he wanted this job. Having a soldier as an assistant would prove useful since they're rather obedient, punctual and direct to the point, but first she needed to figure out the motives of this young stallion.
