1. When her sister looked up at her, she simply offered a soft nuzzle on the smaller mare's cheek once more before her attention was brought back to Skye as he approached them both. If he court or advisors had been here, no doubt they'd have chided Luna on the improperness of such actions but...there was no need to chide on one for being joyful. Was there? The life of a princess was sometimes so dull and drab and monotonous...so a break in that was like a breath of fresh air. She just wished her sister saw that... Yes the fear of her...turning again was there...but...she doubted she'd have the strength in her heart to...to do that again. The sadness flickered, only briefly, the fear of losing her sister there and...still fresh like a scar on her heart...but she wouldn't let it impede upon the happiness they had here at the moment. The castle? Her head tilted as she looked over the castle, her home now for so long now that she'd almost forgotten how much effort it had taken to make it. How much work. The mountain sculpting, the delicate balance of everything... "My it took so long...I think we had to flatten certain parts of the mountain...not all of it but deffinately certain parts to make sure that the castle wouldn't topple..."
2. The stallion had recieved the letter from the lamenting teacher after the confusion and tantrums of his boy coming home in the middle of a school day, which lead to further confusion and further tantrums...and maybe some tears. He wasn't sure. But then Champ never allowed anyone in his room when he was in moods like this and for the past few hours they'd been conversing tenuosly through a wooden door, which wasn't the best way of things to go...but...in his experience, sadly, not the worst... It would've been till sunset and leaving a his son supper by his doorstep till he recieved the mail from that peculiar pegasi that was often seen roaming around. And his feelings were soon realised. What had his son done THIS time? Despite his want to rail and at the same time console his son, the letter sounded urgent and already so much eaten into the day he headed his way out. Only after assuring that his son would get a firm talking too and he expected the door to be open by the time he got back. A father shouldn't have to talk through a DOOR to have to talk to his own son! De-aproned and locking up after him, the deep blue stallion made his way across town while the light was still with him. The sky a deep and sunny orange and hopefully he'd be able to catch the purple pony while school was still filing out, hopefully. When the school house came to view on the horizon, he waited patiently as the foals began to file out of the quaint little learning establishment and made him smile ever so slightly in gentle memories of his own foalhood and of watching his own son's first day. And once all of them were headed home, he made his way past the threshhold of the gate to poke his head curiously in the door. "Miss Cherrilee...?" He called out curiously.
3. Some additional information about her head role in the 'Ruby's Gems' portion of the gang.
4. That would do it. Surely. That little outburst must have some sort of response, some sort of anger, it MUST do. Staring at his doodles as he waited expectantly for the outburst of adult anger to come, he found himself disapointed yet again as a hoof rested on his shoulder and he shifted away from it with a sideways glare at the old mare. Who did she think she was? Really WHO did she think she was!? Trying to be his friend, trying to get to know him, he didn't want to KNOW anybody. He didn't want to know their troubles, what they liked for breakfast, what they were afraid of- well maybe he did want to know that for future references- but all around he didn't want to socialise with these stupid ponies! And she couldn't make him do that with them OR her. Questioning him on what was really on his mind, there was a soft grumble that escaped the irritant youth. It wasn't scary that he was here, it was scary that he wasn't home. It was scary not being able to be strong and be the best. Shrugging the teacher off, he muttered to himself and cointinued to scrawl over paper. "Look lady, nothing's eating me up and certainly nothing I'm gonna share with you-" A snap of his pencil silenced a lot of his thoughts, glancing at the desk quietly for a moment or two as everything seemed to take another form entirely. Everything became like a spirit, or something ghostly atleast, echoing as the halfed pencil rolled off the desk with a clatter before he realised where it'd gone. Had he bitten that in half? He must have. There was an odd taste of lead on his tongue, but he hadn't exactly registered it fully yet. All he noticed was how tight his shoulders felt and suddenly how dry his eyes were and how his body was trying to compensate for that, blinking wildly to himself before he stared up at the teacher. What had she said? ... Mother...what would his mother think? Staring up at her for a moment or two with confused eyes, his head went over what his mother might've thought. It didn't hear the thoughts though. Not really. It had her images. It had her words. Her smile. Her kisses on his scraped knees and grazed cheeks. Her lullabies...her coughs. Remaining silent for possibly the longest time in his head, it took much longer than he'd expected of himself to respond. And when he did, it came out like a damn breaking from a flood. The world suddenly moved far too slow for him as he shoved all his items from his desk with a very violent clatter, brow creasing in a frown as he saw the sight go red infront of him. A buck against his chair made it topple as he abandoned his lunch box and belongings to glare at Cherilee, eyes glinting against the light as his voice strained with his yelling. "You don't know ANYTHING! You don't know about me or-...or ANYTHING! YOU OLD NAG! I HATE YOU!" That said and quite literally done as his voice began to crackle near the end, the little colt turned quickly on his heels and slammed open to the point the bolts shook and sped out of the door. Not sparing a second glance at the other little foals, Champ sped past the gate and probably back home as fast as his hooves would carry him. Starlight meanwhile managed to avoid getting bowled over, hearing the yell from the colt from outside as he watched up from where he'd leapt and saw the blue blur heading away from the school house. Could he do that? What had gone on inside? Frowning faintly in worry, he glanced back to the school house and creased his brow before looking back to the others. "What do you think happened...?"
5. After a second, he finally looked up at her when he was asked too and watched the earth pony with a faint and juvenille frown on his face as his hooves rested on his desk as he listened to what the teacher had to say...partially... Mostly his mind went on its own little tangeant at most of what she had to say, hoof tugging at one note and looking over the doodles he'd made. Dusky. Chip. Dad...mom. Ears splayed against his head silently and most of what he heard was muffled by his own thoughts. A trip? Blinking he briefly glanced to the teacher, most of his irritation and anger drained out at this point as his thoughts snatched them away and caught him off guard, but there was still that faint wall of resistance that burnt like a flame in his eyes. Atrip could work...but he didn't want to just visit his friends. He wanted to go back to them. He wanted to stay there. He wanted to be there and live in his memories and the joy of his childhood...not wallow here in hicksville with ponies he didn't know and didn't care about. No matter if they tried to be friendly to him. He...he just didn't want it. Soon the fire spread in his mind and the frown grew again, mentioning the sports team. Pfft, this town WOULD need a good coach. That ego of his rose its head. Did these ponies even know how to properly play hoofball? The rules? The regulations? The ammount of skill it took? Probably not, they probably all wallowed in muddy fields for all he knew... His patience began to wore thin as a soft snort escaped him, any anguish he felt earlier was quickly diminished in the flare of anger that rose its head like a venomous snake and soon he looked up to Cherilee with that rebellious frown. "Look! I don't have to socialise or be friends with any stupid pony here, I'll do whatever work you want but I aint doin' anything to get to know these lame-o's, their lame sports team or you!" He snapped, ears splayed against his head. "And as soon as I'm old enough I'm leaving this stupid hick town and going home so I don't have to deal with ANY of you!"
6. Noticing everyone had gone outside, Starlight followed suit, especially when the teacher came in and it looked like a really private talk was to be had. And he could've used the fresh air really, so once he was outside, his attention was brought to the little group around another new pony! Eyes smiling before it reached his face and he tottered towards them all with a bright, cheery expression as his eyes fixed on the new little unicorn. She had such colorful hair! "Hi!" Oh great, now he was alone with the teacher, that was all he really needed right now. As the door was closed behind the teacher he just stuck to doodling to himself before he was adressed and even then he didn't stop his doodling. Why should he? The teacher was just gonna rag on him...well...good. He'd just rag back. Raising his eyes, he watched her talk in that calm tone and it put him as such an unease...this gave him nothing to fight back agaiinst. Why was she being NICE? He'd been BAD! WHY WASN'T SHE SHOUTING OR SOMETHING!? The mention of his friends made him sink slightly into his desk with a soft 'huff' sound, dangit dad, did you have to tell everything about him to these stupid ponies!? As the teacher mentioned a pen pal programme, a hoof scraped the top of his desk and he looked up at her with his ears splayed ahainst his head. "It wouldn't be the same as them being here...or me being there though...-would it-?" He replied in a slightly fierce tone, not a lot of passion was put into it though as he looked back to his pieces of paper. His doodles and scribbles...pfft...a bird could do better than he did. Scrawling further, he rested an elbow on his desk as one cheek sat atop one hoof. "'Sides, I didn' do nuffin'...just tried to get that stupid filly to stand up and talk and that lame dork had to get in the way..."
7. Listening to the story, Muddy couldn't help but blink as the story ended and offer Astron a sideways glance and chewed her bottom lip ever so slightly. If ever there was a reason not to go somewhere, that was one hell of a reason. And soon she felt a slight pang of guilt in her chest at actually wanting to go, jeez the poor guy, she'd been banned from places because she was too dirty. But this guy? She rose a hoof to rub akwardly at her neck before looking to Klank with a small smile. "Hey, it's okay, I'm new so any place would be a treat really...besides I really know how it feels to get kicked out of places."
8. "Oh deary, y'all wouldn' be a bother at all, but maybe Ah was bein' a tad too friendly us bein' jus' met." She said as Willow politely denied her request, she couldn't blame the unicorn, after all they had just met and she dipped her head gently with a smile before watching as Braeburn lead the way to her new home and began telling the unicorn about quite a peculiar tale. A haunted pass....? Headless horses!? Goodness, those are things she'd only ever read in books. But Equestria was a mysterious place to live after all...but still...she'd never thought that such things might exist...they were just old mare's tales. Stories to keep foals in their beds. She should know. She had no place to comment on it however and smiled as Braeburn spoke again. She KNEW IT! An honest apple pony! The molly couldn't help but feel a tad starstruck and her cheeks lit up all shades of rosey as she found herself with a slight skip to her step, even if she tried to diminish the skipping just a tad...coordination and herself were not great friends. "Ah must say, Ah'm honored t'know such a hard workin' pony, 'specially an Apple family pony." Turning back to the unicorn, there was a soft smile that lifted up over her muzzle, though a faintly concerned one. Who was Grimmy? As they trudged the dirt road behind Braeburn, curiousity finally compelled her to speak. "Miss Willow, if Ah may ask, who's this Grimmy y'all mentioned?"
9. Updated with some personality.
10. Looking up at the other in faint awe, he couldn't help but smile brightly. He'd never stayed there long enough to take in the beautiful sights and found himself...a little envious of the other. But in a good way. He was envious and excited that he knew such a fantastic pony who must've been so many places and met so many other ponies. Silently he wondered if she'd ever met....no...no that would've been asking too much of her, instead he simply revelled in his new friend. On the subject his aunt, he giggled softly and nodded towards Twilight with a cheerful smile. "Mhm! I get to help with the teeth cleaning at times, I get to give the sugar free lollipops she has in reception to the other foals!...I have to use my special stool though, 'cause it's as high as mister and missus Cake's counter here." He said, patting his hoof gently against the glass showcase before his large eyes returned to the filly. She said something that made the little pegasi's eyes widen gradually till practically they were just large, awe filled orbs of purple and black that stared at her in disbelief. A telescope? A telescope for looking at stars? Big stars and little stars? Multiple stars? Constellations? A smile broke out on the little colt's face and his tail began to tick away happily to itself like a tiny dog's. "You really mean it, miss Twilight!? Oh I'd love that SO much! Thank you, thank you, THANK you!"
11. After more refining, Desert Rose iiiiiiiiiiiiiiiis done. :3
12. [ Pony Related Character ] Name: Desert Rose (Originally Sweet Blossom) Gender: Female Age: Mare Species: Unicorn Pelt Color: Powder Lavender Mane/Tail Color & Style: Deep crimson with fading aqua streaks dyed into the ends, both tail and mane are long and partially curled to the point of being wispy. Eye Color: Bit golden. Cutie Mark: A pokerdot bandit hankerchief mask with two glittering bits inside of it. Physique: Slender and agile. Residence: Painted Pinto Plains, wanderer but stays in that basic area and sometimes wanders near Appleloosa. Occupation: Bandit and Highway Filly Motivation: To steal and rile up the richer ponies she steals from. Likes: Stealing, the look on law pony's faces when she pulls of a successful heist, dandelion burdock, long desert sunsets and sunrises, wild west dancing, shadow boxing, Mama Ruby, stringing along young law colts by the heartstrings and hot baths. Dislikes: Not managing to steal any bits, the thought of being caught, trying to remember her actual parents, comments on her eyepatch, law ponies, her aqua dye running out of her hair, lizards, scorpions and lonely desert nights. Character Summary: As a tiny newborn filly, her Manehattenite parents took the long and well anticipated trip to Appleloosa, a family excursion that was supposed to initially be one of the happiest moments for the small group of ponies. With one small hitch. Half way through the Pinto plains, the train was hijacked by a group of bandits and thieves who ransacked the passengers of their bits and their possesions...though they might've taken more than they had initially bargained for. Instead of a bundle of some expensive swag they wrassled from a mare's grasp, they were instead left with a baby. The only problem was that a group of stallions had no idea how to look after a foal, so went to the one of the most notorious thieves and bandit circles known in the West. Along with its equally infamous leader, Mama Ruby. And after a healthy bribing with several bags of their hard earnt swag, the old mare conceeded to taking the little foal under her wing. When young Desert Rose, as she'd been named by her adoptive family, became a young filly, she was greatly unsure of her role in the group dynamic of the circle. She tried helping with drink serving, polishing spurrs, knife throwing, barrel bucking, hoof to hoof combat and even if she grew in talented in some fields with the help of her own four hooves or her growing magical ability, however minor, nothing seemed to fit the little female. And it seemed for a while that nothing would help her earn her cutie mark. Only when the youngster began to gain some length to her legs was she allowed to embark on the rite of passage all younger ponies in the circle had to undertake, their first heist. So along with all the other colts and fillies, Desert Rose went off and performed her first act of thievery from a less than well guarded wagon on its way to the bank of Appleloosa. Admittedly, the two stallions who WERE guarding the wagon, stated after the hijacking that perhaps entering the dessert without a well armored chaperone probably wasn't the wisest move. Needless to say, the heist went off without a hitch and Desert Rose found her true calling and her cutie mark when she swiped her first bag of bits and found an intoxicating want for the adrenaline of it all...including the bits themselves. The years rolled on, further heists, hijacking, pick pocketing and train robberies were held and soon Desert Rose grew into a scourge of the Pinto plains. She was a class a thief that got nothing wrong par one extraordinary moment when she lost her eye in a fight with an upstart young law colt and thankfully left with atleast one eye still intact. Growing an intense loathing for rich, snobby ponies and getting a high from seeing the look on their smug faces. Aswell as the faces of the law enforcement. And eventually became the leader of the head group of bandits in the circle known as 'Ruby's Gems', along with several other ponies such as Silver Hoof and several others she knew in her youth with the gang's circle. Desert is a viperous yet seductive pony who knows how to use her feminine wiles in thievery...and if that doesn't work. There's always violence or using her well known rope trick to hog tie ome law ponies. Short tempered, Desert Rose is often volatile when things aren't going the way she planned, but when things do, she is calm and level headed...sometimes. Despite such a fiery and explosive temperment, somepony may see a sliver of loneliness, or even confusion that is easily blinded from the eye when a sliver of golden bit comes to sight or when any of her bandit brothers get taken in by the law and that's when she shows an almost protective side to herself. Probably influenced by Mama Ruby...and by the fact if one brother or sister is taken, they might snitch under pressure. Despite that, she still is what she is. With no idea of her parents and fully embracing her kleptomanic tendencies, Desert Rose will steal your money and your heart. Additional Notes: Magical abilities - Rope manipulation, lock blasting, basic telekinesis and basic light magic (bright flashes, glow, etc). Fighting abilities - Hoof to hoof combat, knife fighting, barrel bucking and burst speed running.
13. Watching her little friend's wings stretch out, she couldn't help but give a small, assuring grin. Flapping hers briefly and hoping she'd test her wings aswell, it would help as practice for the future and she wanted to see the little filly succeed since...she reminded her a LOT of herself at that age. The thrill of speed, even on the ground, made Rainbow happy to be alive, it was what she lived for, so having friends even as small as Scootaloo here that loved to run too was a blessing in itself. So you can imagine the slight shock when she saw the filly veering off to the side, initially thinking she was heading for a crash. Of which she knew all too often in her life. And instead...a joke. Blinking as the little orange moved back to her side and a smirk lilted her lips. "Nice trick, kid, now let's see you pump those wings!"
14. There was a brief glimpse from Starlight, he tried to wave, but he didn't want to let go of his scooter incase he fell. But there was that thankful, big eye'd gawk from the tiny foal as he clung onto his new posession with a soft plink of his eyes as his smile was aimed to Taxi. His new friend. Older friend, but still a friend and an ex-Wonderbolt too. It'd been a good day afterall...even if a scary beggining. Glancing back to Fluttershy, there was a soft squeak as he was pushed and tried to flap his wings as he best he could to aid his propulsion, because that's what this was for right? To aid his wings? He felt more like a baby bird than anything, his wings so pathetic and small. Listening to the yellow mare as a tiny hoof pushed against the floor to aid some rolling as the other's help increased his confidence quite a bit. Tongue stuck out in concentration as his ears fluttered softly beneath his helm. Still thinking she was there, even AFTER she'd stopped and fluttered his wings as best he could. "My daddy said I will be able to fly soon and I should be patient." He said weakly before slowly realised...she wasn't pushing him. She wasn't there. Soon the confidence bubbled and fizzed and he wobbled slightly before the scooter wheeled to a stop and a soft clatter as the tiny foal just sat atop it with a small and forlorn sigh. "But I can't even stand on clouds properly...so if I fell I don't think there'd be any nice swarm of butterflies to save me...that's why I'm down here."
15. The blue colt glared silently at Grim as he left out through the door, ears splayed against his head as he chewed his food slowly, cheeks puffed out with bread and butter before he swallowed and went about doodling once more. His drawings now crude etchings and crass words, which continued for the page before he worked onto the new one and let the pencil simply draw on whilst he stared at the chalk board in boredom. Glancing to the group that had soon become two talking of candy canes, there was an irritant snort that escaped his nostrils as that strange voice continued to rant on. Bad enough he had the queen of dorkitude and the scrawny white runt going on about stupid, hairy candy, but that noisy little foal, whoever it was, was still going on about some stupid nonsense. Could the teacher handle it? He let out a loud groan as he covered his ears with his hooves and began to slowly grind his teeth as the noise continued. The irritating noise that drilled into his head, pierced his ears, made him so angry...so...SO angry. It was bad enough he was stuck here but now...gah! At some point, something must've snapped, because inbetween the grinding of the teeth a slow, bubbling growl began well up in his chest like the distant rumble of a storm and his hooves began shaking against his ears before they slammed against his new desk. A deep breath was taken and those lungs seemed to open up as the noise and the anger got far too much, shouting up at the ceiling. "SHUUUUUUUUUUUT UUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"
16. Glancing to her sister as she made her frantic appologies, the sun mare couldn't help but smile ever so slightly as turned quietly on her heel and approached the poor filly, so many years passed and she hadn't changed a bit. Shaking her head softly, she nudged her sister playfully when she was close enough and another soft chuckle gently trilled from the taller female. Her poor sister. She was so terribly worried of acting wrongly infront of her...when infact, the break in monotony did nothing but excite Celestia. It was certainly a change. And change from the boredom always cheered the ageless female. Nuzzling her sister affectionately, there was a reassuring smile on her muzzle. "Luna, calm yourself, dear sister...it's fine." Came her soft voice, barely a whisper as she smiled to her sibling before glancing to Skye. Oh dear she remembered. All those times trying to fly...all those trees. It made the mare blush ever so slightly in light hearted embarassment as she watched the peryton with a small, barely noticable smirk. It vanished quickly however for a delicate smile as she moved to sit beside her sister as she watched the other so light on his feet today. "It's quite alright, I'm just sorry I had to pause your fun with my interuption."
17. Well, it seems everything is in order with this really. You've put a lot of detail into him, a good story and to be honest it's a good premise for a character and has undergone a lot of revision thanks to the people here. Approved.
18. The poor unicorn, it did seem that she was far out of her element but the Appleloosan that had been all to kind to help her out was also too happy to help this 'Willow Wisp' out aswell and that just made her smile at him. Such a gentleman. Brushing away any blush that may have strayed on her cheeks, her eyes wandered to the unicorn with a pleasent smile as she removed her hat with a few dainty tugs of the silk that held it to her head, flopping her ears once they were free. What a relief. "If'n y'need some place to stay, Braeburn was jus' takin' me to mah new home, y'all can weather the day out there if y'like?" Again her manners had left her and she sighed to herself almost embarassedly, cheeks now full blush wih pink. "Sorry, mah name's Bluebelle, it's lovely to meet y'all miss Wisp, Ahm sure y'll get home safely like Braeburn said." The molly offered a reassuring smile to the other as she rested her hat leisurely on her flanks.
19. One could only imagine the day Celestia was having, several documents to settle upon and so many of her court to talk too as she had fled her entourage briefly to spend some alone time in the courtyard. Giving herself some space to breath as her eyes wandered over the yard leisurely. Peaceful. Well...she thought it'd be atleast. All at once, she heard her sister's voice, she turned to see their guest peryton clearing a good few feet over her head despite the fact the mere sight of him heading towards her had her dipping her head slightly so he didn't catch her horn. That would've been a terrible wound to bear. And a further guilt upon her mind. But thankfully, he cleared over her and she glanced to where he'd landed with a clatter. Her concern obviously reaching the hilt as she trotted towards blue deer creature and blinked down at him before his amusement made a small smile lilt upon her lips. He was alright. And they were obviously having a good time, which made the ageless mare smile all the more as a soft chuckle tittered from her muzzle. "Well, it's good to see you on your feet, Skye."
20. Drawing both hooves down her face with a slight grumble at Tempest's words, the multicolored found herself supressing the irritation in lew of glancing over Strawberry's direction with an arched brow. A distraction! Yes! Thank Celestia! Her smile was maybe a bit too bright at the aspect of going on a tour and avoiding the procrastination topic...yeah she liked to nap. So what? There was no harm in that with her speed...she'd get it done in no time at all. With a small, 'good natured' smile towards Tempest as she flapped there merrily. "I'd be HAPPY to take you on a tour of Ponyville and if Tempest isn't too busy with all those boring files and such, maybe she'd like to tag along?" The mare aimed a playful smirk at the green filly.
21. The little foal had to glare slightly at Champ's crushing of the candy cane, who would give up on such an awesome candy? The flavour. The texture. For home made, this wasn't bad at all and Starlight revelled in it quite happily as he watched Cherilee chide the brute. Serves him right. As everything was settled back to order, it seemed the day would continue without a hitch- What was that ringing? Whose voice was that? Looking up to the ceiling, the foal had to blink slightly with the end of the candy cane sticking out of his mouth like a cigar and soon reccess was called. Poor miss Cherilee, she was so stressed out because of everything and now some weird pony was on the roof. Was it that gray pegasus that kept bumping into things? Oh well. With lunch and reccess called, the little pegasus smiled towards the nice filly who gave him his candy cane and offered a nod. Slurping the stick out of his hungry maw. "It's super yummy! You have a real talent for candy!" He piped up happily. For most of what happened, the telling off and settling down for lessions, Champ just sat there with his pencil in his mouth and crudley doodled away in his notepad. Since the day was ruined anyway, he found no point taking anymore notice in what was said and lost himself in his own little world. He did manage to catch the reaction of that frizzy haired dork, seeing that anguished expression of hers over the destruction of her stupid candy cane...so why didn't he feel any better? Glancing to the dust that had now scattered around the floor, that inevitable pang of guilt tugged at his chest like the other day with Sweetie...frowning he just furiously continued to doodle. He didn't have to appologise...stupid candy... When the lesson seemed to settle, like the other ponies, he too glanced up at the roof and groaned as a hoof rubbed at his face in irritation. Great. Now they had a weirdo on the roof. Lunch was called and Champ felt a tiny bit torn, did that mean he had to stay in class and get a telling off? It probably did...detention and stuff...with a grumble, he moved to grab his bag from under his old desk and bring it under his new one. Taking out a carved lunch box with a metal handle his dad had managed to make for him and paint his favourite colors, the usual blues and golds. And once settled, took to eating at a daffodil and tulip butter sandwhich as he blanked the rest of the class completely as they blanked him. Eyes settling on the doodle he'd made of two ponies...well...what looked like two ponies atleast...he wasn't an artist.
22. There was a smile that beamed over Starlight's muzzle as he took the multicolored stick of candy with such a gleeful expression, tiny tail tickling away as he clutched it delicately between his forehooves. "Mhm! Thank you very much!" Not picking up on the lisp, if anything, it made her more interesting to listen too as he began licking his candy cane happily, watching the colors smear together before the indicent went on. Blinking over his shoulder at the commotion, tongue still stuck out mid-lick, he had to peer at Champ and frown ever so slightly. What was his problem? They were getting candy and he was acting like a jerk still! Glancing at Grim and the splat of paper on his person, Starlight couldn't help but look on in faint awe. He was really brave! Another soft feeling of vindication came to the foal's face as Champ was given detention, memories lingering on when he was dared into Everfree because of him and watching the blue colt closely. Champ's face was a picture, first seeing his spitwad intercepted by that geek from the other day and then Cherilee's voice perked up and made the colt's head turn with a blink on his face. Then the bomb was dropped and so did the foal's face. Detention? He had to stay AFTER this stupid class!? For a moment, he could only stand there and blink before turning his eyes on Grim and growling with a very blatant ferocity to his deep orange eyes as his ears splayed against his head. One hoof irritantly pawing the floor. "You are so -dead-, lame-o." He hissed between his teeth, making sure it was low enough for a whisper...but loud enough so that this LOSER heard him. With a stomp, he moved to his new desk and peered at the blue swirled candy cane once he'd gotten there with a faint look of suprise and confusion. Squaring his jaw and glancing at Twist, he raised a hoof to crush the candy cane under it, grinding it almost painfully slowly aswell. Hoping that she saw that. Stupid candy. Stupid school. Ears splayed against his head, he slumped over his new desk and puffed the candy 'powder' out of his way whilst staring at the chalk board. Making sure to take his gnawed pencil and his notebook so atleast he wouldn't get told off for that..and that he wouldn't get bored.
23. Name of Tea Cozy's nursery added in additional notes.
