"Dinosaur, disease, disease. None of which match His Highness." Munch munch munch. "What brings you to this humble eatery, other than the delicious sweets? I just got out of training some fillies and colts in self-defense."

The following passed through his mind in an instant as he began to munch on his donuts, nodding in greeting to the unicorn: <Unicorn. Purple. Male. In important position. (Note: School of Friendship? Canterlot?) As of now, harmless, but could be an assassin looking for fame, hoping for inadequate defense. Likes to use Lunar language that was nearly abandoned 850 years ago after Nightmare Moon. Could also be cultist, hoping to bring her back. (Note: Could think I have necessary knowledge for occultic ritual.) Treat as neutral unless shown otherwise. Keep an eye out for potentially threatened innocents. Aim for base of jaw and horn in case of attack.> "Greetings, Sir. I'm not royalty, unfortunately. Nor are these wings and horn fake or prosthetics. I, my good sir, am a Changeling. Ponyville is my home, and Firey Ice is my name. Your's?"

"No, thank you for allowing me to teach your students how to defend themselves!" As the Changeling walked away, bits jangling in his bag, he nodded and smiled at the passing creatures of various species, who were equally welcoming back. <Ever since King Thorax, everybody has been more accepting of Changelings... Although I can't help but wonder if Chrysalis SOMEHOW got away and didn't get-.> Firey Ice shook his head at the depressing thought. <NO! I won't allow that to affect me again!> Trotting to Sugarcube Corner and sitting at a table, he had a snack of the excess love that was practically drowning the whole store from the pink party pony who cheerfully served him a few donuts. <Exits to the left and right. Most likely threat comes from Pinkie 'Pinkiamena' Pie, the blue and red stallion to the left with his wife and the yellow and gray mare to the right with her girlfriend. Ah, they were waiting for their respective spouses. Potential threat(s) upgraded to red.> Blinking, he shook his head and sighed at the militaristic mindset he couldn't help but slip into. "I just hope that my thoughts aren't foreboding of something wrong..."

As Firey Ice was trotting around Ponyville, looking for somepony to hire him, he sighed, as the unusual Changeling was having no luck this day. Until he spotted a red filly, her plot dangling in the air, her muzzle in an adorable scowl. Silently giggling, he approached the filly. "So, have you gotten into a mess with, "The Great and Powerful Trixie!"? Don't answer that. It's quite obvious due to the fact that that's her magic holding you up." He sat next to her. "So, mind spilling the beans?"

As she was walking, another cloaked pony made their way towards her side, not noticing her due to the hot drink and freshly baked strudel they were eating and drinking. Firey Ice was visiting Canterlot for the first time since he settled in Ponyville. The Changeling invasion didn't count, for obvious reasons. "Ugh, these things are delicious! I wish I had gotten here sooner!" Accidentally bumping into her, he dropped his drink and strudel, smoothly catching them with his red magic. "Drat! Forgive me, my good mare! I hope I didn't offend you!"

Trotting into the hotel's restaurant, Firey Ice was seated at the table just beside the waiting dragon. The restaurant was quiet. A bit too quiet. "So... Have you been waiting long, sir?" As the strange looking Changeling slipped at his ice water, sword in plain view.

Scatting a random tune while listening to some dubstep on his headphones, the strange-looking Changeling was headbanging when he heard the crack of thunder. Taking them off, he looked in curiosity at the Forest, then to the duo who was standing in front of it. Quickly trotting towards them, he made sure that they would notice him sooner rather than later. "Hello there! Does anypony know what just happened?"

Okay, I've improved it. I think there might be some more changes needed, but I'm not sure. Also, when I say, 'cannons', I mean that part of his legs above his hooves and below his knees.

Alrighty. I figured that he would be getting comments and glances, but due to his past, he'll have become immune to it. Tinkering is definitely a part of his backstory, as that's how he got his armor. I also wanted his genius to be dialed down after developing the armor because I don't want his character to be op. I'm now thinking that maybe his wings are still armored with retractable double-sided blades in front and from the ends, but the bracelets on his cannons are instead magical storage devices.

Coat: White with dark blue zebra stripes, one solid band on his upper forelegs, two bands on his upper hindlegs, and a solid blue spot on his muzzle. Mane/Tail: Cyan blue and dark blue for the mane. White at the end with cyan blue in the middle for the tail. Physique: Slightly muscular. Residence: Ponyville. Occupation: Former bodyguard/secret scientist for Queen Chrysalis. Doer-of-odd-and-even-jobs. Cutie Mark: N/A Unique Traits: Reader, painter, warrior, self-taught chief, and former scientist. Owns wireless headphones with music in them (Dubstep, techno, EDM, and Classical). History: He was a former guard for Q.C, who had noticed his brutal self-defense skills due to relentless bullying. Defecting during the first invasion due to the ever-increasing resentment and an attempted assassination during it, he went into hiding till King Thorax. After he developed the magical armor he's wearing, an accidental discharge destroyed all his research, disallowing it's mass-production. The edge of his wings, the bracelets on his cannons, and his headphones are armored, with retractable double-sided blades for the wings and emotional/magical storage for his bracelets that can also fire magical blasts whose effects differ depending on the emotions inside. The more noticable spells are: Anger: Ignites the emotions of the target. Fear: Ice that literally freezes the target in place. Love: Distracts target with whomever/whatever is emotionally closest to them or vice versa. Disgust: Causes them to become extremely disgusted with whatever they're doing/holding at the moment. Hatred: Turns them into an literal flaming inferno that painfully burns them and everything around them. Greed: Think, "Want-it-Need-it", but only with whatever they're holding at the moment. The reason he looks like he does is due to his exploration of various lands and cultures, wanting to find a place that would be accepting of him. Not able to do so and then coming back to Equestria a few years into King Thorax's reign, he realized that there was increased acceptance towards Changelings as a whole, and so decided to go a bit... Crazy, with his appearance. Character Personality: Kind, friendly, slightly paranoid, nearly ruthless in a fight unless it's training or entertainment. Character Summary: A friendly and artistic Changeling who developed his armor while he was under Queen Chrysalis. Going into hiding during the first invasion due to attempted assassination, he traveled the world until King Thorax, when he decided to settle down in Ponyville due to reports of Changelings being especially accepted there.
