  1. Zephyr caught on to Starlight's embarrassment at the mention of her singing. She definitely had ambition wanting to sing for the princesses and become a well known singer. That ambition was far beyond anything Zephyr had thought about. "What do you aspire to?" What a question to be asked. He never thought about it nor was he ever asked. Zephyr wanted to avoid the question, maybe he could sidetrack her by bringing up her singing some more. No, that would be rude, she didn't want to talk about her singing. The truth was the best choice, she did say she liked that the most. "No one has ever asked me that before." Zephyr looked down and shuffled his front right leg, somewhat digging at the ground. "I don't really know, I never thought about it." He looked back up to Starlight, whose eyes always gave off the vibe that she understood everything, not judgmental in the least bit. It was a bit dis-concerting to Zephyr that a pony like this would ever talk to him, though with that brought comforting thoughts. "The only thing I ever wanted was to be happy. I'm just not sure how to go about that..." Zephyr paused momentarily. "I'm sorry, I shouldn't be so dramatic. What do you think about that? Where do you find happiness?" Zephyr kept a smile to keep the mood light.
  2. It seems most ponies are basing it off the writing and presentation overall. Not the meme status of it.
  3. Zephyr looked in the direct Starlight pointed. He hadn't even noticed there was anything else here. He was so focused on the mare and his own nervousness that he even forgot there were others in the room with them. He felt a nudge on his side and looked at Starlight, who was giving him a light push. Zephyr understood and smiled as he began walking toward the cafe. What Starlight said was right. There was no need for him to be so nervous about everything. He decided he would try his best at this. He could keep his composure when robbing ponies and during tussles, why not this too? As he walked, he looked at Starlight. "I really don't think you should think of your singing like that. I may have not heard that many singers, but yours is honestly the best I've ever heard by far." Starlight's cutie mark flashed back in his memory, he got a good look at it when she introduced herself. A curious thought entered his mind. "Do you want to be a singer?" Zephyr was feeling better since she told him to calm down. Knowing that she could sense his nervous demeanor calmed his mind. It didn't completely remove his nervous thoughts, but she seemed very tolerable and Zephyr felt as the evening went on, he would gradually relax more.
  4. Pleasure to meet me? Zephyr thought. Does this mean she won't run away? That she'll speak with me more? This was great to hear. He thought it odd that she would think less of her singing. He cocked his head a bit as he was confused she would say something like that. It was certainly unlike anything he had ever heard. Then she ask if he wanted to go eat dinner with her. With me? he thought. So then she does want to get to know me? Maybe this friend thing isn't as hard as it seems to be. Thoughts raced through his head as he stared at Starlight walking to the fountain. Wait!? I have to answer! He trotted over to the fountain as he spoke. "Uh, of course! I haven't eaten in awhile and would really like that!" He stopped beside the mare, who was still drinking. The thought of food made his stomach rumble, to which his ears drooped due to embarrassment. He tried to cover up his embarrassment with a response. "Well my stomach would love to eat with you." It wasn't until after speaking this, that he realized how badly it could be taken, but it was already out there. Zephyr kept a smile, but in his mind, he was worried again. This friend making thing is so stressful.
  5. As the mare finished her song and spread out her wings, Zephyr got a good look at her. She was quite exotic looking in Zephyr's eyes. It was clear she enjoyed singing from her smile and the twinkle in her eyes. As she turned, she noticed Zephyr and he seemed to startle her. He did get a bit close to her when she was singing. Zephyr thought maybe he had already upset the mare because of this, but that thought was quickly removed when she said hi and laughed. Then she spoke her name, Starlight Melody... Zephyr found it as exotic as her coat and mane colors, he liked the name a lot. He was so caught up in thought in thinking about her name that he almost missed it when she asked for his. She extended a hoof to greet him and Zephyr nearly took a step back when she did this, not many ponies greeted him in this way. He displayed a clear look of confusion for a moment, and she moved her mane out of her eyes. Her mane seemed to have an amazing glimmer as it waved back, Zephyr found it beautiful. It took a moment for Zephyr to think to respond to her question. He realized he had hesitated and got a little nervous. On top of not having much of a social life, he had almost never talked to mares, he saw them as easier, weaker targets to take from. "Oh uh... I'm uh... Zephyr Burst. I saw your singing and... wait..." Zephyr showed clear signs of frustration as he grimaced, not at the mare, but just a general frustration. His speaking sped up a notch. "I mean I heard your singing and I wanted to come and see who it was." Zephyr leaned forward slightly. His nervousness visible, but not as bad. "It sounded amazing! I mean I haven't heard that many singers, but yours is the best I've ever heard!" Zephyr's look of frustration cleared and he smiled. He was pretty sure that, despite the awkward start, it was a good greeting and was quite happy with himself that he even threw in a compliment.
  6. Zephyr was still fairly new to Cloudsdale and had not made any friends. If he wasn't working in the Rainbow Factory or delivering a package, he usually went home. He had a small studio apartment sized place only for himself. It wasn't much, but enough for him and the few possessions he had. Zephyr didn't like the busy pubs and hang out places as he couldn't muster up the courage to approach anypony he wasn't already acquainted with, nor did he know how. Since he had no friends or any obligations other than work, he had plenty of time to himself to explore Cloudsdale. Often times, he liked to find places that had few or no ponies around to get away from the busy bustle of the city. He could go home, but liked the change of scenary from time to time. Sometimes he got a bit lost, though finding his way back home had never proved to be that hard of a task. Despite all this, Zephyr wanted somepony he could call a friend. He wasn't very social at the factory and when he was delivering, he went alone. Zephyr wasn't used to civilized living and socializing. He was always afraid of saying the wrong thing and turning a potential friend away. Today was like any other day. He had just finished work at the factory and didn't want to go home. Instead he wanted to go searching around again, somewhere new. Cloudsdale was quite an expansive city with many places dedicated to fliers of all kinds. He had found one such structure which he had never seen or heard of. It seemed to be a place dedicated to the remembrance of great racers. Zephyr wasn't much of a racer, he wasn't very fast, he was more into aerobatics. As Zephyr approached the inside, he could hear something, or rather somepony. Curious, he followed the sound and as every second passed, the sound became more vivid. He heard a beautiful singing voice. Singing, he thought. Singing wasn't something he heard often, and definitely not this beautiful. Entrigued, he sped up to a trot and saw what had made the sound. It was a dark colored pegasus mare. She seemed enraptured in her singing and unaware of what was around her. Zephyr even had to admit, the singing was very good, the best he had ever heard, though he had not heard much singing. He stopped and only watched and listened to her singing a few trots away. The singing was rather alluring. There were other, older ponies, that looked as if they were there for reasons aside from the singing mare. They did not seem to mind her, and looked like they enjoyed it.
  7. Made a few minor edits to some areas of the bio, and an edit to Physique. It didn't make any sense that he was in fights but had no scars or any other infractions from those. Also adopted Cat Nappers "Relationships" idea and put that at the bottom. Like hers, it's a list of other ponies he has met here. I don't know how much crossover occurs from forum and chat RPs, so I put those in separate lists.
  8. I'm looking forward to seeing what the general favorites are myself. Good idea Dessa.
  9. Bridle Gossip is definitely my first choice. Loved how the message was given and the execution of the episode. Plus it was just hilarious. Applebuck Season and then The Ticket Master were my other two.
  10. Why thank you. I didn't see fireworks this year, none of that in the city. It's fine though, I've seen fireworks many many times.
  11. Zephyr doubled up on jobs from Cloudsdale periodically. Since they often had enough workers making rainbows, he would do a delivery job here and there. He had just completed one of these jobs delivering a few supplies to Hoofington and was flying over Whitetail Wood on his way back to Cloudsdale. Delivering the supplies were first priority, so he didn't spend a lot of time enjoying the scenery. On his way back however, he took a much slower pace and flew closer to the forest. Whitetail Wood was quite beautiful at a closer look and Zephyr had an urge to fly down and get a look from underneath the trees, but there was no good reason to do so and kept flying. Eventually something caught his eye in the forest, it was different from everything else and Zephyr's curiousity got the best of him. He lowered his altitude and was surprised when he discovered that it was a cottage in the woods. He wondered who it belonged to, though was there any reason to go look? Zephyr didn't want to intrude, but he wanted to know who would live all the way out here in the woods alone. Living alone was something he knew about and against his better judgment, flew down to the cottage. He scolded himself for letting his curiosity get the best of him though. He reached the ground and looked toward the cottage. The front door was easy enough to identify. He was hesitant about approaching and decided to keep quiet and survey the surroundings. Someone definitely lived here now, it was kept up well and there were signs the land behind it were worked with. It was quiet and nopony was around, Zephyr took a few steps closer to the cottage and he caught wind of a familiar and wonderful smell. Someone had made a pizza and it smelled delicious. Zephyr remembered back on a time in Manehattan when he had mugged a pizza delivery pony. It was a quick job, he had knocked the wind out of the pony and Zephyr had left with the pizza before the pony could even see straight again. Mugging delivery ponies usually wasn't a good idea, but this one had taken a back route and the smell of the food was enticing. His precision paid off and he found the risk worth taking after eating the pizza. He was always careful not to mug in the same spot twice and knew this wasn't something he would have the chance to eat again unless he spent a few bits. Zephyr tried not to think about those times and his thoughts returned to the cottage. He hadn't eaten all day and was hungry. It was clear someone was here. In fact, after Zephyr took another few steps closer to the door, he could hear two voices. They were muffled, but it was clear to him there were two mares inside the cottage. Maybe if Zephyr introduced himself, he could have a bit of that wonderful food. There were lots of plants around the forest, but Zephyr didn't know what many of them were and knew he better not try any of them, no matter how good they looked. The pizza inside the cottage was a far better prize anyway. (Okay, all I need to do is introduce myself, be polite, and...) Zephyr thought about the best way to go about this. This was too weird, he didn't do well talking to new ponies and all he wanted was food from them. He felt shallow for even thinking this. (Ah forget it, what's there to lose by trying?) Zephyr approached the door, tapped it twice with his right hoof, took 2 steps back, and remained quiet.
  12. Zephyr was finding Boomer more and more annoying and wanted to pound it out of him. As he walked to the door, he gave a snide response to Boomer. "Yeah, good luck with that and have fun with your 'filly friend'." Zephyr stopped at the door and looked at Boomer angrily, "You're lucky you didn't meet me earlier." And with that, he left quietly, so as not to draw attention from the guard or any other pony that may be between him and the main hall. ((You responded to things much differently than I thought, thanks for the little side track. ))
  13. Zephyr was lost in thought as the two spoke. The more they backed up what they were saying, the more Zephyr thought that maybe he had gotten this all wrong. He knew he had no business with them here. So many thoughts rolled through his mind. He was still upset and wanted to calm himself down. Luckily the unicorn stopped her crying as it was getting on his last nerve. He decided there was no way this pegasus could be a Wonderbolt. Surely he wouldn't have been so defensive if he was just trying to surprise his colleagues. Though he didn't rule it out in his mind. He figured it would be best if he just left the two. The situation was upsetting him far more than he imagined. "So wh-what are we going to do about him?" Zephyr looked up and stood back up on all four hooves. What did she mean by that? What were they planning now? Zephyr stared at them both, they were now close enough that he could keep an eye on both easily. "You won't need to do anything with me." Zephyr spoke firmly. "I think it's best if I leave. And I still don't buy your story." Zephyr kept his stern look at Boomer again.
  14. Oh, I love the one with the little green guy. You've got a nice array of hobbies there flutterscotch.
  15. Oh wow flutterscotch, that Spitfire looks really good, you guys have some skills. O_O Boomer, I love the chain on Sakura Dusk. Actually I like it all, but the chain just adds even more awesome.
  16. Zephyr could only stare at Cookie in disbelief as she stood there lying to him. He had lied plenty of times in the past and knew all the common signs to look for. Her crying was astonishingly believable, yet Zephyr had heard and seen enough to know that this other pegasus was indeed not a Wonderbolt, or at least that the story fed to him was not true. Zephyr was upset again, now they were both lying to him. Maybe he was all wrong about this unicorn. Her crying threw off his composure and Zephyr only wanted her to stop. Zephyr threw his right hoof over his face and sighed. "Just stop... Stop your crying." He put his hoof down and took a step closer to the two ponies. Zephyr glared angrily, "You're..." Zephyr suddenly lost his train of thought, he was at a loss of how to even respond to Cookie now. Things calmed down in Zephyr's mind just to quickly flare up again and Zephyr didn't want to, nor knew how to, deal with this. He just wanted to yell in frustration, but he couldn't, which troubled him even more. Zephyr was used to lashing out, but wanted to keep his composure. Cookie's crying didn't help any of this. Too many emotions for Zephyr to handle caused his expression to change to a more troubled look. He fell back on his rump and put both of his front hooves over his face and sighed again.
  17. Zephyr looked back over to Boomer who still didn't seem to want him around, made apparently by Boomer's expression. "I'm sorry, I didn't quite catch your name... though I guess it doesn't matter right now." Zephyr couldn't understand when Boomer mumbled. He thought about giving Boomer his own name instead. Numbskull, that would work! Zephyr decided it best not to elevate things again and kept that thought to himself. "How do you know this isn't my uniform?" Zephyr cocked one eye and bobbed his head back a little. He was quite amused by this statement and paused a moment. He smiled and leaned forward a little "You really think I'm going to buy that?" Zephyr said this in a very amused and confident tone. He lifted his right hoof and pointed at Boomer, still smiling. "If that was your uniform, then why did you have to sneak around to get it?" Zephyr put his hoof down, "Besides, I overheard you say you were going to take something. This whole thing seems to be about getting into the VIP Lounge. I don't know much about this event, but enough to know that a Wonderbolt uniform would get you in." Zephyr looked back over at Cookie again, giving her a stern look, he wanted an answer from her.
  18. We've all seen the entire season, but we're willing to buy them anyway to show support. I'm hoping a lot people follow through with that. Anyway, it's good news to see this is becoming more of a possibility.
  19. "That's just what a peeping tom would do. . ." Again, Boomer accused Zephyr, which upset him even more. He didn't want to fight, but his anger was beginning to overcome him. It was as if this pony thinks he can actually take me on! Zephyr was ready to prove him wrong. "So you think you're quite the hot sho..." Zephyr was interrupted mid-sentence by the unicorn as she stood between him and Boomer and softly spoke. Zephyr only watched and listened with a rather surprised look as the unicorn interjected and tried to calm the situation down. Even though Zephyr was upset at Boomer, he was quite relieved this happened. Maybe he could finally better understand what was going on. The unicorn asked Zephyr to introduce himself, but before he could, she spoke her name, which he had heard earlier from Boomer, whom she also told to introduce himself. Zephyr did not wait and changed his expression to one that was less threatening, though he did not smile. "I'm Zephyr Burst and I believe we got off on the wrong hoof." Zephyr decided to put his anger aside and stay along with this new calmer atmosphere that Cookie had created. "I'm sorry I elevated this to what it is, I should have composed myself better." Zephyr looked directly at Cookie and spoke firmly. "But you do understand what it is you're doing? You're stealing to get into this... VIP Lounge. And not just from anypony, but from the Wonderbolts. You're okay with this?" Zephyr waited, wondering how she would respond.
  20. Glad you rejoined the herd and would love to RP with any of your ponies. Well once he's free from his current RP anyway.

    More!

I'd like to see more of Applejack and her family, especially Big Mac. We know the CMC will return, they've left that way open. I didn't like them at first, but they've grown on me. Of them all, Sweetie Bell could use more development. Seems a lot would like to see the Sea Ponies. I wouldn't mind if they didn't show up, though I didn't watch the older series, they leave a bad taste in my mouth. Sea Ponies don't have any nostalgia factor for me. I guess a single episode appearance wouldn't be bad. For Luna, I'm happy to hear she practically has her own episode, I just hope she appears in more than that. I hope there's never a love interest introduced for any of the main characters. (Except for Applejack or Twilight. For those two, it just seems more plausible during the show.) Spike's crush on Rarity is cute and enjoyable, anything else would be out of the scope of the show and probably annoying. Bleh, it sounds like I'm ranting. XD I have lots of faith that season 2 will be just as good, if not better than season 1.
  22. When Boomer accused Zephyr of peeping on them, his anger grew. He couldn't believe this pegasus was trying to shift the wrongdoing over to him. Zephyr took a step toward Boomer, shifting his weight a bit to his front legs and angled his wings out slightly. Zephyr only did this to intimidate the pegasus however, he was sure from the looks of this pegasus that he wasn't much of a fighter. But what concerned him more was drawing unwanted attention to them if a brawl were to break out. If such an event occurred, he would only suppress Boomer. Though Zephyr was angered... "How DARE you accuse me of such filth! I'm not peeping on you!" Zephyr decided to insult the pegasus. "Besides, I doubt she would indulge in such behavior with a pony like you! I'm only here to stop her from making a mistake. A mistake YOU'RE encouraging!" Zephyr couldn't believe he was doing this and was still nervous about being seen.
  23. Zephyr heard Boomer come back in the room, but there was nowhere better to hide. Boomer, with his mouth full of clothes, was talking to Cookie and didn't seem to notice Zephyr until... "Who the hay are you??" Zephyr knew his cover had been blown and waited as the two other ponies seemed focused on each other for a moment. With his presence known, Zephyr stepped out from behind the chair in full view of the two ponies and kept his eye on Boomer. "How about we skip introductions?" Zephyr kept a stern tone. He was unsure what he was really doing other than figuring out why Cookie, who seemed like such a sweet unicorn, would agree to this. "What you're doing to this unicorn is just wrong, involving her in your cons like this. What do you have to say for yourself?!" Zephyr had to make sure not to raise his voice too much or they would all be found out.
  24. Well then, happy late birthday buxy and happy unbirthday to you Flutterscotch!
  25. Zephyr waited and wondered what he should do next, when suddenly the door cracked open a bit. Zephyr backed away a little to keep the unicorn from seeing him. Her attention from the door was swayed a moment to levitate a chair over for her convenience. Zephyr knew this was his best chance to get inside. As quickly and quietly as he could, he made his way in the room while the unicorn was busy and hid himself behind a chair out of her view. The room wasn't lit well, but there were no great places to hide nor dark corners to conceal himself. Zephyr began to wonder why he was even here, what did he hope to accomplish? Suddenly he realized a mistake he made, the door was still in the wider opened state he left it in. "Stupid Zephyr, you know better than that.", he thought to himself. Perhaps this will amount to an advantage, Zephyr hoped the unicorn took an action in his favor.
