I had a few ideas of how to 'evaluate' the running of the leaves in RP. This idea, however, is much better and simpler than anything I would have come up with, lol. Kudo's the the Canterlot team and yay for another event. It's gonn be so awesome!!

Absolutely! It would be a shame not to have your OC in the race, but if its just not their cup-o-tea, then you can RP from the sidelines! Just do us a huge favor and stick at the beginning of your post [NOT COMPETING- JUST PARTICIPATING] for each post; that would help us out a lot :heart:

I have a suggestion. Would it be helpful if we gave out replies as spectating ponies inside a spoiler box like this:

This would also evade any confusion with secondary characters within the same post.

Granola smiled. She was so relieved that she wasn't going to receive the punishment she, for some reason, felt she deserved. Nola's fuzzy cheeks were tickled by the thousand year old mare who was astonishingly only a little larger in size than herself. Granola thanked her with a soft voice. "Ohhhh! Thank you Princess Luna, thank you so much!"

As Granola stood up, she saw her surroundings empty. Ponies were leaving, guardsponies were ordered away, and the overwhelming attention of the area began lacking. It was almost as if everypony began realizing that Luna wasn't a princess, but just another pony. Granola daydreamed her thoughts in her mind's eye as the weight lifted off her shoulders. Perhaps that was all the princess wanted, though. Maybe she was tired of being a princess. Maybe all she wanted was to be among other ponies and relate with them. It made Granola realize how lonely being a princess might be. How in all of Equestria does Princess Celestia do it?

Granola decided to keep the engagement with the princess going as a possibility. She did so nervously, however. "Um, so, um, where are you going next? Do you still want to see more of the city?" Granola turned and looked at Scale Model, who looked cheerful in his own way. She wasn't sure if she was alone with the princess now or if other ponies were only temporarily scared away by the alarming nature of the last five minutes. She turned back to the princess. "We co- could go for a walk in the garden," Granola suggested. Her eyes watered and grew as she asked Luna. Never before has she been this bold on purpose. It was like the Princess' sudden comforting presence turned a light on in Granola's psyche.

Miracle took another bite of the loaf she had in her left hoof as she listened to Robikku's suggestion. She liked his idea and his freelancing personality. It was adventurous, but not too adventurous. As he concluded, Miracle thought it would be a good idea to make some kind of a gesture of kindness towards the peryton, as Misty looked a slight timid and a little stunned by the majesty Canterlot's towers and walls brought to the environment.

As she was thinking and eating, it occurred to her than she should share some of the delicious rye bread she had just bought with the peryton. Hopefully, this would cheer her up even more and allow her to trust Miracle's darker pelted persona. But as soon as the thought transpired into motion, she began chewing the last bite of rye bread that she had. Oohhh... Miracle thought. Her stomach had beaten her brain to the punch again. She would have to think of some other way to offer friendship to Misty.

Miracle swallowed the rest of her meal. "Yes! We should go, and now's a good time as any." Miracle began trotting towards the heart of the city. She synced her pudgy prance over the cracks that fault the city's paths.

Depends on what mood she's in. If everypony refuses to come to her party, she can outrun Rainbow easy.

I like this as well. Maybe a subforum would be a good idea for our characters to hang out. And adoptables don't seem to be getting much attention in the request threads it seems.

Applejack held a pensive smirk as Granny animated and Raindrop responded. It was a little saddening to see Raindrops father refuse a free lunch. Perhaps some issues in the family business developed. Any way Applejack thought about it, it hung on her head and made her right ear twitch a little. How can somepony leave themselves out of good company like that?, she thought.

"Alrighty then, let's get-a-goin'. I bet that apple cake is almost ready to be pulled out of the oven." Applejack snorted shockingly a horse's grunt. "The oven!" It had just come to the attention of the orange pelted earth pony that the time she had taken to find Granny was a little lengthy compared to the time it took for AJ's custom apple cake recipe to turn the batter brown. Applejack gave an alarming sigh. "I reckon it's about burnt now. I need to go quickly and make sure the farmhouse ain't burning down. Raindrop, would you be a darling and walk my Granny Smith to the farm. She knows the way, don'tcha Granny?" As Applejack paused for responses, she began galloping quickly to the farm. She was convinced that the oven wasn't on long enough to burn the entire house down, but she didn't want to take any chances.

Even though the links are different, they lead to the same topic, even after I changed the topic title. I was wondering what would happen to the link if I changed the topic title. Any new canterlot urls should be safe then.

I'm also discovering an issue with embedding images, but it was because they were linked to the old canterlot url style. This means that any urls i shortened using the forum's url shortener are now useless. The old ones only had a topic number, while the new ones include the title of the topic in the url.

I agree with you about like buttons. I do like all of the new options though. Um why is my avatar a ghost? I know I was trying to use a spooky rarity but that I not what I meant

I can understand the disliking of likes. I think it aides RP a little though, in giving minimal RP feedback where there is none.

I entertain the possibility that two pegasi could have a unicorn foal, if the family tree permits it. I haven't shed enough light on my OC Arrow Plain's parents yet, but the assumption is that they are both pegasus, while she is a unicorn. In order for this to be true, I would propose that pony types can skip a generation or two and two like kinds could have different kinds, or maybe even a pegasus and earth pony having a unicorn.

I am much more interested in having the 'pony type' an issue of the character's personality and make-up, rather than their genetics as it related to where they came from. I make no beans about it though, since Fluttershy would probably best be an earth pony, and Applejack probably wish she could show Rainbow 'how its really done' in the sky as a pegasus.

I find it interesting that the show has yet to reveal any interracial families or couples.

I think our real answer to this question is right under our nose. How dare we question the possibilities of genetics in Equestria. In a question of determining how different pony types came to be and how they procreate, the answer is simple:

After Honey Thread spoke her opinion, Arrow jumped onto the table and got in Max's face. "No! What we need is a flight school for non-pegasus ponies, can you do that? Pegasi can be hoggin' all the sky, now can they? That wouldn't be fair." Arrow smiled confidentially as she felt the unicorns and earth ponies would have to agree with her, but then she realized the big pony who gave her a touch of care when she ran into the Sheriff was a pegasus herself. Arrow turn slightly her way, "Of course, they're not all bad." Arrow smiled so big her gums were showing.

Besides, Rainbow Dash is a mighty good athlete. AJ's jus better...

You must remember that Twilight came in FOURTH PLACE last time, despite not running in any sort of long-distance race before.

This was achieved through only literal research. Now she's had some practice....think about it, don't you think the fact she has more experience...combined with her intellect would help her to place higher in the race, maybe even win it?

And thus, MLPFiM Wacky Racers was born.

Because I am the king of over-analysis, I have composed a chart that guesstimates rating scores for the ponies based on different criteria. I hope the attributes are something everypony could agree on. It would have been a close race indeed, but the stamina bar is probably the most important in this visual perspective, since it is sort of a marathon.

I was wondering what everypony thinks. A realistic running of the leaves RP is bound to happen this fall (crosses fingers), so I wondered what everyone would think if AJ and RD played by the rules.
