Personally, I don't mind being called a Brony. I think it's become unisex. Like saying dude. It used to be for guys, but now it can be for girls too.

Never. I'm actually pretty open about my love for MLP. I remember, just the other day, I was browsing through the toy isle with all the ponies, and I was talking on and on about the show when these ladies came walking by. They stuck around for a bit, and I'm pretty sure they thought I was crazy the whole time. Fun times.

Basic Information Roleplay Type: World of Equestria. Name: Starlight Dancer. Sex: Female. Age: Young mare. Species: Unicorn. Eye colour: Sea green - [colour=#72e0b4]#72E0B4[/colour]. Starlight is blind, so she has cataract eyes. Coat colour: Pale pink - [colour=#fde7f2]#FDE7f2[/colour]. Mane/Tail/Markings colour & Style: Pastel purple - [colour=#bca7fd]#BCA7FD[/colour]. Starlight's mane is fairly long, and curls at the tips. A portion of her mane is parted to the right, covering that side of her head. Her tail is very long, but is normally folded in a sort of bun. Starlight also wears a golden necklace, a simple triangular band. On her left hind-leg, just above the knee, she wears a golden band. Physique: Starlight is built like a dancer, tall and thin. Cutie Mark: A golden star with a purple ribbon wrapped around it. Origin/Residence: Canterlot. Occupation: Currently a performer, and working towards being a dance instructor. Motivation: What motivates Starlight is her aspirations to be a renowned dancer, to preform for the most esteemed ponies of all Equestria and to be a role model for young fillies and colts who follow their dreams. Likes: Listening and dancing to music, swimming, being admired, surrounded by friends, and of course, performing. Dislikes: Being alone, loud and sudden sounds, storms or rain, feeling lost and helpless.Character Backstory Character Summary: Ever since Starlight Dancer was a little foal, she has always sought attention and approval from her peers. Of course, things are difficult when born blind. She was often the subject of teasing and pranks, as her blindness made her an easy target. But, of course, Starlight did her best to keep her chin up. Still, she is easily startled by loud noises and tends to avoid any form of confrontation. One thing that always made Starlight feel better after a rough day was visiting the park and listening to the band play. Listening to music always made Starlight feel better, as she could forget about her worries and just enjoy the moment. Seeing that their little filly enjoyed music, Starlight's parents, Twinkle Star and Jitter Bug, enrolled her in a dance studio. It soon became apparent that Starlight had a natural talent in performing. She learned routine's quickly, and danced as if she'd been training for years. And when she was elected for a solo performance at the studio's annual dance recital, Starlight couldn't have been happier. On the night of the performance, Starlight Dancer performed wonderfully. It was on that stage, when the cheers of the crowd overwhelmed her, that Starlight realized that this is what she wanted to do. And to the amazement of the crowd and Starlight, she received her cutie mark then and there. Since that momentous night at the recital, Starlight has continued to practice and work on her talent. Because of her great talent, she was offered a job at the dance studio. Of course, being blind means being unable to see her students. So, she offers moral support and helps the instructors for the time being. When it comes to performing, Starlight Dancer is fearless. She faces the crowd and dances to her heart's content. Of course, not being able to see all those faces looking up at her helps. Off the stage, Starlight has to deal with her cowardice. She is easily startled, and is usually quick to run away when intimidated. A soft-spoken pony, Starlight mostly keeps to herself when not hanging out with her small and close circle of friends. It's not often Starlight will stick her neck out in dangerous situations, but if her friends need her, she'll be there (after a few moments of mental preparation of course). Although Starlight Dancer is a unicorn, she doesn't know a whole lot of magic. Instead, her magic manifests into something that enhances her own senses. Because she can't see, Starlight depends entirely upon hearing, smelling and touching. Her magic gives her a sense of where things are, so she is better equipped to walk around the cities and towns of Equestria without bumping into every pony. Positive Traits: Caring, sympathetic, soft-spoken, thoughtful, friendly, graceful, well-mannered, polite, dedicated and honest. Negative Traits: Cowardly, small, naive, gullible, lacks "street smarts," and tentative.Appearance
