I've read a few I liked... *My Little Dashie - Most powerful story I've read in a log time, professional or not, uses countless literary techniques. Be ready to cry because you will at LEAST once. Complete. *A Future Worth Saving - one of my favorites, it's incomplete (and no updates since early November...) Very serious and fairly dark. INCOMPLETE *Wingmares - Adorable story about Dash meeting fluttershy at flying school. Touching but not sad, *very* light shipping. complete. *A Question of Protocol - Hilarious story about Spike and Twilight, very light and funny. INCOMPLETE *The Secret - Dash has been keeping a secret she's scared will make everyone hate her if they find out. Of course they find out. Very nice and "episode like" with some amusing moments. Complete. Currently Reading: *Mare Incognitum - Dash and Fluttershy get transported far from equestria and have to make their way back. 3-parter, complete. Planning to read: *Progress - Luna after her 1K years on the moon (I know it's not canon but it sounds funny) INCOMPLETE *Fallout: Equestria - A desolate future, very grimdark. complete. This. I have a folder of old (non-MLP) fanfics I wrote, many of them >100 pages, and quite a few thrown together in days... but lately I've been struggeling with my own (MLP) fics. Of course part of it may simply be that I hate writing the first chapter. I may try a cold opening on the next one to aleviate the problem and see if it helps. (that is a "Our story already in progress" where the "Start" is told through dialog or flashbacks) That being said, I'm working on 4 with 3 more pending: Writing: *The Spectrum of Magic - This is discussed here in the writing area under "Thoughts on a far fetched idea?" it completely redefines Equestria history and rewrites the rules of magic. *Symphony of Chaos - my main Fanon, a series of stories following my personal favorite villains as they attempt to gain revenge. The first one "Nightmares" has each of the mane 6's dreams come true... with consequences... and the 2nd has one member of the team... start acting strange... (dont want to spoil it). *Obcession - Grimdark, (R-rated for violence and disturbing content.) Scootaloo continues stalking Dash and it takes it's toll on the filly's mind... things reach their inevitable conclusion... Pending: *You Only Grow Up Twice - Thanks to a mixup at Zecora's Dash is returned to a filly and is integrated back into ponyville filly society until they find a cure. When they find said cure, Dash has to decide wheather she wants to stay a filly with her new friends (and crush) or if she wants to grow back up and rejoin the Mane 6 and her current love. *CMC To the Rescue! - The mane 6 have been captured and it's up to the CMC to rescue them and hopefully earn their heroship cutie marks in the process! *Alternatives - 5/6 of the mane cast have been captured, only Dash escapes, she must round up another set of Elements to defeat the monster (Including the mysterious "Element of Redemption")

No worries, I already told Kat she could lock the thread, that the bronies loved and tollerated all we could and left. I'll just C/P it somewhere on here, I'm sure a few other people might be interested in our mindless pony banter anyway I'm gonna tell you the same thing I told Karis: I only have so much creativity, and right now It's being divided between "Nightmares" "Different Rainbows" and "The Spectrum of Magic" (with an occasional addition to "Obsession") all being MLP fanfics. (And quite honestly, I don't think any will be posted on here... All are PG/PG-13 rated (except Obsession which is R-rated for violence)) So I really dont have much left for RP. If you really want I might *try* to do a little here or there but it wont be my usual "I reply within 5 minutes of your last reply WHENEVER IT IS!!!"...

You know, I came up with an excellent solution to the pen/creeper problem - just like the outside of the pen on all sides with Cacti! any creeper that tries to get close dies.

I always watch the intro. Usually I watch the credits too, but I have stopped it before they ran some times. Though usually I watch all the way because I like the outro music.

I like her only in that the animators saw fit to add it for us bronies. Over all I couldnt care unless it is a cute bit (like in the hearthwarming eve ep) though I admit it's fun to play "Where's Derpy?" while watching.

I'm going to disagree with this. The number of times Dash has shown consideration for flutteshy, including back when they were in school, I think the two grew up like sisters. Factor in that AFAIK neither of them has parents, both were bullied, and they seem to form a very symbiotic familiar bond.

That doesnt explain quite a bit of what Twilight does... However... That is a BEAUTIFUL explanation "for the foals"! it teaches them a moral and gives them some basic information! I'm going to be integrating that into my fanon as what foals learn in school about magic! Thanks ^_^

There is another term "Oni-sama" (lit. "big sister") that children use for most older women who are not related but as close. Japanese is a very familial language. If you want to talk about bad Dubbing, lets take a look at one of my favorites (that I never finished because it was so long) Konjiki No Gash Bell, aka "Zatch Bell" English: They are cute little pixies come from another world. MTG is rate "M" or maybe PG-13, not sure, but it's sure not a kiddy-friendly game like pokemon.

It amuses me that over all the concensus seems to always be "leave voices, if needed give subtitles" and being an anime fan I agree (though for me it's more I dont like the USA butchering anime's plot) though there are some exceptions, most of the time it's downright sad...

I had basic lessons in music class in school. I learned all 6 main strings but never went further and would be hard-pressed to even point out any one given string today... (though I idly considered learning again, but with what little time I have and what few performance venues... I'd probably only be performing at most 2x-3x a year on cons or something, and then only if I got really good)
