From what I understand, they're doing what they need to, legally, to "protect" their copyrights, but only what they need to do. There are a LOT more legal actions they could take to get the show off youtube, so I'm assuming they know it's like free advertising to new potential fans to have it up there. Basically, they're fighting a battle they don't really want to win. This article puts it far more eloquently than I could XD

I just saw this topic! I can donate all manner of handmade things- I make bags, phone cases, hairthings, fleece hats and scoodies, scarves, armwarmers, pillows, coin purses, earmuffs... the list goes on. I can make a lot of things as long as I have time to get materials and figure out how. I just need a lot of advance notice... I don't work fast for free. I don't even work fast for money I don't have many projects up on my dA now (because nothing's finished ) but I will as I start finishing things, so there'll be examples there... one day.

Question: I just got my Fluttershy today, and her hair is absolutely perfect (minus the braided part, which I plan on fixing) except it's pretty frizzy. I saw an earlier post with a way to de-frizz the hair, but is there a way to do it without losing the nice curls she has already? I'm not sure if I trust myself to be able to redo them... Edit: I messed around with her last night and found that running a comb with conditioner on it through her hair (and then setting it back in place, obviously) helped with her out-of-box frizzies and made her hair look generally less crinkly and softer It also made her smell like pomegranate. I also fixed up that funky braided part. I undid the braid, dipped that section in a bowl of super-hot water a few times and combed it out straight between dippings, then I wrapped it around her body behind her wings and taped it in place. Figured I'd mention it, since I didn't see wrapping it around her body suggested and it looks spot-on

New years plans? Eat pizza, watch my boyfriend play video games on skype. Also maybe work on my Fluttershy's hair (DAT BRAIDED PART ) I am a party animal obviously

I'm going to try to start selling my work more seriously- actually stock my etsy on a regular basis, work even when I don't feel totally inspired to do so, hit more conventions, be uh... better about finishing commissions. That's really all. Being a big kid is hard work

I have to disagree with a lot of the people here and say that if your wife is very much adamant about "no ponies" and you can't talk her out of it, don't just go ahead and purchase the toy. A toy is definitely not worth making your spouse feel disrespected and/or like her opinions are being ignored I do agree that it's not a particularly fair rule and I'm not sure what the reasoning behind it is, but sometimes you have to choose the living human being you're living with over the ponies. (That's a pretty sweet deal though and if you can talk to her about this and get her to agree to it GO FOR IT!!!)

I'd lose control of my hands and be unable to hold things, or keep them relatively steady at all. Omg that would be the worst possible thing I haven't got any pony OCs besides my ponysona/lame self insert OC... which seems redundant. Except she would lose control of her ability to hold/move things with magic XD

I like finding Derpy in all the episodes. She's not like, my favorite pony or anything, and I think she's a little overblown by the fandom, but I do enjoy her. I wouldn't want an entirely Derpy-centric anything though... it would feel like catering to the bronies or something, I like her best as an easter egg

I... I say "hot dog" and "cool beans"... As far as actual WORDS go, I use "indeed" "lovely" and "fabulous" a LOT more than the average person... irl moreso than online.

Rarity's mane is obviously the best. This is not even a real question! But I have to say, Applejack's comes in a close second. No... really. She has a GREAT mane
