Frogger on the Commodore 64. The game had to load from a cassette tape -- really! After that, Commander Keen, Day of the Tentacle, and Jill of the Jungle. I also remember Descent, that was a fun one to do multiplayer.
Get one, they're amazing devices that do everything you'd want a smart phone to do, only you're not stuck paying for it monthly. It's a big cost up front, but it's well worth it. You have pony on itunes so you can xfer them all over to your device and watch it anywhere!
In hindsight it was kind of funny. It wasn't an average net troll; this person had a pretty intimate knowledge of pony and is probably a big fan of it themself, and it only got so big because it was executed so well in the right place at the right time -- and the expectation was there that real staff sometimes pay visits to the community. You could almost say that this event was overdue, so people gobbled up the info before questioning the validity of the source first.
A cheap pay as you go one. I carry an ipod touch for everything else I'd like my phone to do, except I'm not contracted into paying a huge amount of money for it every month...and it has all the current pony episodes on it too!
I think Luna will be back. She was back once before, not to mention there are real toys of her that need selling! Anyway, the best scams are the ones that make you believe what you really want to hear.
Info bomb! Kaboom. I have no idea what to say. It's nice to get these kinds of shout-outs and info tidbits, but it has a cost -- I'm just not sure what it will be yet.
It will be interesting to see what Hasbro decides to name Trixie, or if they keep her proper name. They might go with like Magical Hugs or something just for the target appeal.
Yes. That was sort of what I was trying to say in my earlier post but never really fleshed out that point. This brings up an interesting issue that's never really been discussed before: what about the males in the target age group for FiM? I'm assuming they've probably been raised to shun girlstuff already and might not even give FiM a shot. I know that's assuming quite a bit, but it is something to think about. If we asked a 5 to 13-year-old boy if he liked watching My Little Pony, what response would we get? Can and do colt bronies exist, and is this latest timeslot move part of Hub's motive to get the target other half of their audience (for a change) to watch their morning programming?
Source Speaking of drama couch, did anypony notice that it was used to block Cheerilee in Rarity's boutique, in the episode last week? There's some continuity for ya.
Though the friend part was also kinda serious from Pinkie's POV despite the silly 'wrapper' it was put into. so really it addressed 2 serious plots. I think it might be more confusing to use "last week" before Sunday has finished, but whatever -- you'll be right in a day. Too bad no new pony next week...
