  1. Kind of simple: You click on "Follow this topic" (on the right, above the first post) and you get notifications on new posts (per mail, if you want) as soon as they come^^
  2. ah, same for me^^ But with that, there would be a tie again...
  3. Well, you can count on another vote from me. I had'nt much time for reading a lot and whenever I had, I forgot about this thread here, sorry^^ Well, now I've read it, and I'm interested. Discord set free must be good xD
  4. Maybe you should make the link public? You won't get much questions when I'm the only one who knows how to find the blog
  5. I'm looking forward to the next one ^^
  6. Let's see then The first two look promising
  7. I already thought that I'm probably sailing close to the wind with this character. I'll give it a try, though. World of Equestria seems to be way more active than crossover. I guess it is possible to move the character if it doesn't work out? Even if not I can still make a new app with the same character for Crossover^^ My first thought about interacting with this character was kind of simple: He has to make money, so he sells his stuff. He should be able to make some social contacts with doing that, but I agree with you that he probably should be seen outside more often. I'll change that. (But didn't yet) Regarding his personality... Let's see what I can make about that^^ Well, I guess (nearly) all of Luky's Gadgets are gag items. But I'll just interpret that as "such technology is only allowed in the show". But as I said, this computer is already more than I wanted, so there's no real problem with that. I'll stick with mechanical devices.
  8. Twilight's science tech is quite complex. If it isn't powerd by electricity, then by magic (at least the one in "Feeling Pinkie Keen". Are there other suitable episodes?). That's already a bit more than I planned on. I don't know if I would let him invent anything of this caliber. But I guess you're right, have to watch some episodes on that^^
  9. Roleplay Type: World of Equestria Name: Lucky Blue Sex: Male Age: Stallion Species: Unicorn Eye Color: Dark Blue Coat Color: Light Blue Mane/Tail/Markings Color & Style: Short Mane, not really long Tail. Both extremely dark blue with greyish blue streaks Physique: Relatively small and even thinner. No fat, but hardly any strength too. Cutie Mark: Quill over gearwheel Origin/Residence: Born in Hoofington but just moved to Appleloosa. Arriving there will be his first action. Occupation: Engineer/mechanician (Don't really know which word fits better in english. Explanation in Motivation and Summary) Motivation: He invents lots of devices just for the sake of technology. But his strange ideas don't really help Equestria making any noteworthy steps forward. Likes: Tinkering, logic puzzles if he has no idea at the moment Dislikes: Stubbornness Character Summary: Lucky's a tinker through and through and always was. He often spends houres in his workshop, finishing one of his projects. But somehow his ideas are not really great, but strange ones. Who would ever need a steampowerd automatic brush? Since his devices are often much too complex to make them without any plans, Lucky also is quite a good draftspony, but he has no real artistic talents. There's no special story about how he got his cutiemark. He simply got in one day after finishing his biggest project until then: A small steam engine. And it was exactly the kind of cutiemark that everyone expected. His father Steamy Hooves was Train engineer while his mother Buttercup was train conductor, so they were away from home quite often. He practically was raised by his many relatives, if he didn't travel with his parents, which he did quite often in later years. Although he enjoys being out with friends, sometimes he needs to be dragged out of his shop. He often loses track of time while working and thus is late for appointments all the time. The activities he enjoys - apart from the obvious one - have also quite an intelectual nature, like chess or discussing anything of interest (philosophy or advanced magic for example, though he is far from being a specialist in any of these areas). Conversations outside of his field of interests are met with silence from his part, which makes him a not very talkative pony overall. He surely can be described as a good (and very patient) listener, who can keep secrets for himself. When it comes to physical activities he normally isn't too happy about it and always needs a lot of conviction from his friends to take part (he likes a nice walk, though). Although he can get a little annoyed when he is disturbed at his work, it's not easy to make him angry. He more likely seeks possible mistakes on his side or tries to discuss the problem, which isn't always the most effective course of action. Only extreme stubbornness showed real effects on his temper in the past. He has no problem with approaching other ponies, but when he tries to sell his stuff on the street he usually carries his portable steam engine as power supply for his gadgets, which leads more often to irritation than succesfull advertisement (Still he manages to make enough money somehow). So, he can be described as a little excentric.
  10. EDIT: Oops, made a mistake in the title. Name's Black Strike, not Striker Name: Black Strike Sex: Male Age: Stallion Species: Unicorn Pelt Color: Black Mane/Tail/Markings Color & Style: Dark blue mane and tail, long, straight hair, usually tied together. Eye Color: Red Cutie Mark:Two crossed swords over a blue spark (story below) Physique: About average height, quite slim, but surely not the weakest Origin: Canterlot Roleplay Type: Equestria Crossover, Golden Age to be exact. Occupation: Adventurer, kind of a mercanary. Special Skill: Combat magic, especialy summoning two swords to fight with (The summoning can be deleted if needed) -Comment-: I don't plan on writing gory combat scenes. But with this character, there will be some fighting. Probably not much, Golden Age still seemes quite peaceful (I could be wrong on that, though), but it will happen. Motivation: He needs some action in his life, which he defines as "a good fight". He only feels alive when he has to fight for survival, but that's kind of a rare joy. He also reads a lot of fiction. Other books are only interesting if they contain something about combat magic. Character Summary: -Background- Black Strike's parents are quite wealthy bookmakers, a fact that allowed him, combined with his magic talents, to get into Celestia's school for gifted unicorns. He never was really interested in magic itself, which soon was visible in is exam results. But since he didn't know any other way of living than just picking up his parents' business he sticked to it. That is until he and a friend were attacked by wolves while strolling through whitetail wood (If there are wolves. Change to everfree if not). Strike survived just by using sticks to fend the beasts off until he was outside of their territory, and even though his friend didn't make it he was immediatly addicted to the thrill of fighting. He earned his cutie mark in the process and after that event Strike began to develop a strong interest in combat spells. Not exactly what his parents imagined, but they finaly accepted it. -Characteristics- Though he likes to make quite a dark impression (at least he has the right look for that), Black Strike usually is kind of a polite pony. At least, if he doesn't know his opponent. He can be extremely arrogant, especially if he thinks his opponent is stupid, but can also be a really good partner in conversation if he likes his opponent. He always acts according to a personal codex, which basically says: Care for you and your friends, no matter what, the rest is not really important (that was partly the result of the death of Strike's friend). But of course it is much easier to live when you have some social contacts besides your closest friends, so Strike is usually eager to help (especially if he sees a benefit for him). -Overall- Can be a very good friend, but if he gets upset you don't want to be anywhere near him. Lacks some social and all artistic skills, but that's not exactly what he cares for. Quite intelligent, but also impatient.

  13. About myself.: A short description would be: Crossover between metalhead and nerd. Located in Germany, greatest hobbies are programming and reading. How did you hear about Canterlot.com?: EqD->State of the Herd report->Canterlot How did you became a fan of FiM?: Memebase, Fanfic My one favourite main cast pony?: Twilight Sparkle Hey there bronies! Well, as stated above I'm quite into the mlp-fanfic. I would probably read the whole day if I had the time for that. But unfortunatly I have to learn. At the moment I'm studying IT, that's eating up all of my free time. I'm a brony since September 2011 but only recently started really digging into it. Since I like roleplaying quite a lot my registration here was overdue. So, here I am, only one warning: English isn't my mother language, so I will certainly make some mistakes. I'm probably not the first one to say that, but I hope you don't play grammar nazi and point out every single mistake. I appreciate it if you indicate really bad or frequent ones per PM, though. With that being said: I hope we have a good time together! Greetings, Syron
