Hey does anyone here, make their own custom sweets? Like baking cakes or making chocolate? I make my own little sweets, by melting down some chocolate then dipping cherries into the mixture, then wait for them to dry. They can be somewhat abit too sweet but there a great treat if you do it right

wow, I didn't think this thread would become so a active so soon on another note, I love biscuits as well. so crunchy and good when you want something sweet but not too sweet. Maybe that would of been a better question to ask, I wish I would of added it too the title as well. I've could of had.."What type of sweets do/don't you like?" or something.

I guess I kinda went overboard too with my app too, or atleast I think I did. I'll revise it right away if it's too long. Sorry if I went overboard.

Just a topic I came up while I was bored. My favorite type of sweet is chocolate and cherries but sometimes, I make chocolate dipped cherries. So what type of sweets do you like? or don't you like them at all?

Princess Celestia, Today I learnt, that trying to bend the law of reality to give yourself infinite supply of sweets will result in a vortex opening in the middle of your home and suck you into another void, Where you will drift endlessly forever while the sound of polka music echoing in the air. Thanks and yea, I didn't draw the body as I only wanted a head and shoulder type picture . I had a feeling the horn seemed abit out of place and abit too short side. Anyway, Thank you for the criticism.

Well I just spent a few hour's messing around with a few different types of tools and I made this picture, which is serving as my Avatar for now and I need some advice/criticism on how it looks, so I can decide if I should continue using this style or move on to another. The picture is simply of one of my OC characters named Moondusk Brush, which is the first picture of him, I ever completed. Here are the outline I used, any advice on shapes that could improve them, would be great. and Here's the final product. So any advice or/and criticism that can help me approve the quality of my artwork, will be great. Thank you for taking the time to read this.

Roleplay Type:World of Equestria RP.(I hope) Name: Moondusk Brush Sex: Male Age: Stallion Species: Unicorn Eye Color: Red Coat Color: Blue Mane/Tail/Markings Color & Style: Black long shaggy Mane and Short brushed Tail Physique: Slightly skinny, strong enough to pull a medium size cart. Cutie Mark: An Artist palette with the follow colours Red, Blue, Yellow, Black and white with a paint brush and pencil going through it. Moondusk got his cutiemark when he discovered the beauty of the world recreated in art. Origin/Residence: Hoofington but is currently travelling all over Equestria. Occupation: Travelling Artist/ general skilled pony. Motivation: Moondusk loves all forms of art and loves anything he finds that could become artistic, hoping one day to become a famous artist and a well respected pony but he also wants to earn enough money to support his family back at home. He finds his motivation in learning new art forms and studying his subjects. Likes: Painting and Drawing. Studying his art subjects. The company of other ponies. Relaxing with a beautiful view or a nice hot bath. Sweets and Cherries. Dislikes: His Artwork being ruined. Being hurried Running out of money, Rainy Days(when he's stuck outside and forced to sleep in his tent. ) being ignored/left alone. Character Summary and History: History – Moondusk was born in the shore side town of Hoofington and lived there for most of his life until recently, He lived with his mother and his little sister in a small two story house just outside of the town. He was raised to respect everyone and everything but once he started attending school and his little sister was born, His father just up and disappeared without reason or trace. This broke poor Moondusk heart but also left his Mother to run her patch shop business and look after her family by herself. This affected his school years as he became abit anti-Social, silent, shy, never tried to stick out of the group or accel in any particular subject, which landed him with few small time friends. On most days after school, he would normally help his mother around her patch shop, he sowed, ran errands and do the shopping while his mother attended to her new born foal but she saw the troubles he had with the disappearance of his father and decided to give him one of of her most precious memories, a white beret that she wore when she first meet his father. Moondusk would cherish the Beret as he wore it everyday for a whole week before a near incident nearly tore it, which made him decide to only wear it on special days. Moondusk soon found his special talent and earned his cutiemark in art, he would start to open up slowly to the world as he embraced his new passion for painting, drawing and even tried sculpting as he then found his dream : The become the greatest artist in the whole of Equestria, his works of art, admired and desired by everyone, even the royal family. This dream, however came with a deep price, he knew for his dream to come true he would have to leave home and travel, showcasing his art and selling it. Moondusk would soon started to take odd jobs, trying to earn enough money to buy his own cart while the odd jobs helped gain skills that would later help on his travels. He would still had the time to help his mother, practise his art and even help his Filly Sister out. Soon Moondusk came to age and finally enough money to buy a medium size cart, which was only big enough to hold all his supplies and a small box filled with the remaining gold coins. He knew it was time to chase his dreams and set out for the bright big world, So after a farewell party and a teary family moment, he would pack up his things and set along the trails which his head held high and a determination that was unwavering, he would start his journey. Parents and Family – Moondusk Family is made up of his Unicorn, Mother : Golden Thread and little Unicorn sister: Sapphire Shell who current live in their home in Hoofington. Moondusk Mother, Golden Thread, still owns her Patchwork shop but she consistently worries about her son, awaiting his monthly letters with good news. Moondusk little sister, Sapphire Shell is currently in school, trying her best to be as popular and fit into the crowd but as yet she hasn't found her special talent but she misses her brother, trying not to show it in public. Moondusk father is an Earth Pony but his current location isn't known. Cutie Mark Story – Moondusk cutiemark story happened when he was in the middle of his school years, he was asked by his Mother to go on an Errand to the nearby local forest, along the coast to pick some berries and herbs for dinner. Moondusk took a notepad with a check list of all the thing's he needed and a pencil, to check items of the list. Moondusk would enter the forest and start collecting the berries, but soon he got lost and tripped on a overgrown tree root. which made him tumble down a hill. When he finally stopped at the bottom, he would clean himself off before gathering his bearings and he saw something that changed his life: A picture perfect view of his home, the lighthouse, the town of Hoofington and the sea with the sun, getting ready to set in the distance. Moondusk was in awe as he stared, he knew this was such a rare feeling, one he wanted to capture but how, he would look at his small sack, finding the berries had be squashed after his tumble and all over the check list, but this gave him an idea. He would tear off the page and pull out his pencil, doing his best to sketch the perfect image, it was a crude sketch but he felt it needed some color. He would look around until his attention turned to his sack and the squashed berries, he would rip a small branch with leaves and dipped them in the mess on his check list, doing his best to mix and capture the color of the setting sun. He would finish, it was a messy picture but it made him smile and then came the light on his flank, gifting his cutiemark for his art. Moondusk would rush home, where his mother and sister were waiting for him, worried sick about him. They asked what happened and he showed them his cutiemark, they didn't have the herbs or the berries that night, but they still had a small party for him, celebrating his cutiemark. Flaws – Moondusk flaws are a mixture of few things, He still has a hard time starting conversations with strangers and is extremely shy at first, which can make it hard to sell his painting at times. He also has a problem with perfection in his artwork, if he messes up a picture, he can't help but try to fix it or start all over from scratch. Moondusk is startled easily while he's painting, and if someone sneaks up behind him and startle's him, he would most likely jump in shock, spilling paint, falling over or at times accidently put paint over someone in the shock. Moondusk sometimes overworks himself by staying up late then not sleeping, working while he's sick or not eating correctly, resulting in making mistakes and adding stress to himself. Personality - Moondusk is general shy and nervous around strangers, making it hard for him to start a conversation, unless provoked but once he had gotten to know a pony, he opens up and starts to speak with a happy tone but sometimes he worries that he consistently annoying and overspeaking others. When something is bothering him or he's upset, he will stay quiet and seemling stare into space or look down to the ground, fiddling around his tools, mostly trying to hold it in to make so that other's don't worry about him. When Moondusk becomes overworked or stressed, he starts to act alittle random but at heart, he's a good friend and all around nice pony. Skills and Magic- Moondusk is an exceptional artist, whether it be with a paintbrush, pencil, pen or any other tools of his trade to draw, paint, sketch. Another one of Moon dusk skills is his ability to paint an image in his mind for later. Moondusk also has a lot of general skills, which he picked up in his colt year's during the time he worked odd jobs and part-time jobs to earn money for his cart due to working a lot of odd jobs over his colt years. While he never excel at theses skill's, he will use them to do odd jobs/Part-time when his artwork not selling and when he encounters a new job, he will attentively try to learn the basics. While being a Unicorn, MoonDusk has only learnt basic magic, such as lifting an object in air or making a light, the only spell he had ever learnt was by his mother, which was an illusion spell that was only to use in certain situations. It would confuse and distract while it's effects was random judging on the environment, from a storm of rose petals, to showing your worse fears, it main purpose was to get out of sticky situations. [Okay I'm finally finshed, I think I might of gone abit overboard. any advice or criticism would be nice. if it needs to be shorter, tell me and I adjust it.]
