If this how Pinkie Pie feels all the time, I would hate to be her! Then the purple pony heard Hoss talking about the cafe and her tummy grumbled. "Maybe we could eat first, then go?"

Then, as Ink Soul looked over the horizon to the setting sun, he saw a figure illuminated by the deep yellow glow. It was an earth pony, with tussled, wind blown dark orange hair, a silk smooth navy blue stripe down the center. Her coat was a yellow that almost blended with the fading sun, with its dark, deep yellows. The mare, torn by age but still going strong, trotted forth from the sun, flight vest and goggles on. Ink Soul tried to get the infamous airship captain to stop, but Sky Dusk was on a mission that she couldn't deny. She had an airship to run!

Ink Soul sighed, and the ink black unicorn sat there mumbling, before starting of towards a small area in Solstice Heights, a tiny village where the airship field was. The crisp green smell of spring came to his nostrils, and Ink Soul breathed deeply, smiling. He just couldn't wait!

Captain Dusk Sky<-Link!

Then, the first streaks of light appeared from the horizon, setting the clouds in deep pinks and oranges. The first sounds of day began as the twitters of bird rattled against the trees, and a harsh wind turned to a light breeze, swirling through leaves and plucking some from their branches.

Spiri nodded. The alicorn laughed at his comment "Ha! You imps think you can beat me?" The tornado raged on, catching the lightning that rained and throwing it to the ground. The black shadow alicorn looked at the two of them, then to the wolf pack, and smiled a little. But just as the shadow figure began to relax, Spiri crashed into him, knocking both of them into the tornado, which ripped the shadows that clung to the pony underneath the black shroud. The tornado began to fail, and both the pegasus cursed by the shadows and Spiri fell from the sky. In a panic, Flame 'Wild Hooves' Heart flew into the air and grabbed both of them quickly, setting the two unconscious creatures on the ground. The pegasus had a foggy sky blue mane, against white fur and three snowflakes representing her special talent

Same as SteelEagle. Where to start...ah, yes. If I could make Dusk Sky somehow part of the family, it would help explain why she lives in Solstice Heights, like a cousin wanting to live closer to family, but not wanting to go too far away from where most of her work is.

The Star Wing is an airship. Many ponies will be invited, but only those invited can go on the flight they only dreamed of! Here is were you can ask for an invitation, and give me the following:

The dark figure trotted towards them, and the pony, wrapped in shadow, gave Spiri one look that made his throat stop working, and began choking on his own screams. When the figure looked away, Spiri got a good breath and shook there instead of screaming. 'Wild Hooves' growled with the other wolves, who were coming out of the dens in swarms. Each den held passageways with a pack in each, so the immense numbers of wolves was amazing. Instead of fright, the shadow alicorn looked at the wolves in annoyance. Raising his wing and horns to the sky, his two hollow eyes glowed red as if hot embers burned in the sockets. A tornado of shadows whipped about the clearing, pushing everything towards a the tornado, which crackled with red lightning.

I'm just guessing crossovers aren't allowed. But I can't be 100% certain until I know.

The invitation had appeared on his desk, and the inky black unicorn had known the handwriting instantly. He had always dreamed of the day he could go on an airship, and he was going on the honorary tour of an old mare friend of his he had met as a colt. She had returned to her house and was going out again, on her birthday for a wonderful party in the sky! Yes, pegasi were invited, but it was mainly a trip that wingless ponies could enjoy at a leisurely pace.

Character Summary:

Ever since her years as a filly, Dusk Sky was amazed by flight, and was always dreaming of growing wings! But this, of course, never happened. But one day, a rare sight in her hometown appeared! It was a airship, floating over the town! Amazed, Sky chased after it, her mother Raspberry Pluck, a rodeo hostess, and her father Alloy Black, the local blacksmith, both trying to get her back. She chased the airship to a nearby landing platform. So tired she was stumbling, Dusk Sky only found the ship by bumping into its captain, Cosmos Wing. He found about her admiration of his ship, and took her in as apprentice captain, bringing her to Canterlot. But as the days went by, though Sky was happy, she sent a letter to her parents, who replied and said they were so happy for her, but just hoped she could visit. She did, in fact, visit them after a journey that got her her cutie mark.

The captain was very old by this time. He had plans to pass his captain title onto her, but to win this title she would have to get an airship from Canterlot and on a path to every city and town in Equestria. The pegasus Cosmos Wing had become a father to Dusk Sky, and she was sad to leave his side, but he was her captain and she would follow his command until her own death. So Sky went out, and his death left her traumatized. But an inner self pushed her on, and when she returned after a huge storm that almost ripped the ship in half, her cutie mark appeared as she gained the title of captain! Then she moved out to Solstice Heights, because now that her mentor was gone, she just wanted to live a nice life, though she has a lot of jobs concerning Canterlot. She is a smart mare, with years of experience at her side. Though she can seem bossy at times, it is usually for your own safety and you have to trust her when she says to trust her instincts. and do what she says. Being without her family has made her rough and tough, but still the wonders of flight are always a driving force for whatever she does! And Dusk Sky NEVER backs down when challenged!
