  1. Seaspray smiled as she realised Whisperpaw was willing to give up his own heat for her. She looked at him through tired eyes and smiled warmly, glancing back at the small beach house a few meters behind them. "You are more than w-welcome to stay with me." She blushed again, but her smile didn't falter. It was a rare day she ever had the chance to offer a bed in her home. She was looking forward to sitting with someone over breakfast, and perhaps a light walk in the morning.
  2. They sat for a while in silence, heads together until Seaspray began to shiver. The sun had well set now, and the stars shone. She curled up with Whisperpaw, trying to warm up, but she just couldn't manage it. Despite working on the beach everyday, and in all weathers, she was not immune to the cold. "D-do you have s-somewhere to s-s-stay?" She was not stuttering from nerves, however, but from the cold. She was of course willing to let him stay in her shore-side home, if that was what he wanted.
  3. Silver Wish had done it. She had braved the dazzling sunlight and exited her tower for something other than her once-a-day trip to the museum where she worked. This time, however, it was something different altogether. She had decided to visit Canterlot, and perhaps visit her parents while she was there. She was walking along slowly, trying not to think negative things. Nopony was staring at her. Nopony even knew her here. She wasn't the social recluse from the tower back in Stalliongrad anymore, she was just a regular unicorn, strolling through Canterlot. She was trying to walk with her head down, draw as little attention to herself as possible when she walked right into a sign. She yelped and tried to smile at the pony who had just cast her a concerned glance. She looked up at the sign, cursing it to Discord. "Stupid thing." Then she noticed it was a sign for a bookstore. She hesitated and sighed. She couldn't resist a new book. She took a stroll into the store and began to look around the shelves. There was nopony in the store, not even behind the desk, so she assumed business was a little slim at the moment. She found a rather thick volume on astronomy, and after a few moments of flicking through it, she decided to buy it. She approached the counter and cleared her throat. "Umm, hello?"
  4. Seaspray smiled back at the stallion as he caressed her face gently, and she could tell, just by looking into those deep eyes, that he was just as happy as she. The wind picked up slightly, but she could feel nothing but the warmth of his body next to hers. She rested her head against his and repressed a shiver as his soft, calming tone spoke into her ear. She looked to him shyly, determined not to stutter. "Nopony ever talks to me because I'm so quiet." she replied, a hint of sadness in her voice, but she smiled suddenly at him. Now that she wasn't alone anymore, she wouldn't ever feel that way again. She felt Whisperpaw move closer to her and she tucked her legs tighter under herself, in order to get as close as possible. She resumed her position, as they lay in the sand, her head resting against his as they both stared out to sea. She was so absorbed in her happiness, she barely heard his gentle whisper. "If I'm t-taking th-things too fast, j-just tell me." She simply shook her head and patted his hoof reassuringly: she clearly did not think he was not moving too fast.
  5. Seaspray could hardly believe it. She was lying with the only stallion she had ever been able to hold a conversation with, and he was interested in her. Sincerely interested. She surveyed him thoroughly, her blue and sea-foam mane whipping about her face a little bit in the light ocean-breeze. "If y-you'll t-take m-me..." Her eyes began to water, and she stared at him, her mouth hanging open slightly. The first tear fell as a shy giggle escaped her, and she lay her head against his, nodding as she cried those tears of happiness. For the first time in her life, she wasn't alone, and she didn't think she could have been happier. They had known each other only a little while, but somehow... I knew, she thought, I knew he was special.
  6. Solstice Heights.. wow. The mare was confused now. What did she feel for this stallion? Why did she even think she had a chance? She kept silent as they looked out to sea, but there was a slight tension in the air. She turned to say something, and he was staring into her eyes again, captivating her. She blushed as his soft words sent a shiver down her spine, his tone making her blush again. "D-do you w-want t-to be w-with me? We d-don't h-have to be alone.." Seaspray was stunned into silence. There was a brief moment of awkwardness before she replied. "Be w-with you? As i-in, my c-coltfrie..?" she trailed off, unable to say the word "coltfriend". Why would such a handsome stallion want to be with her?
  7. Seaspray couldn't comprehend what she found so captivating about him. Was it his kind eyes? The warm smile? It took her longer than it should have, but she soon figured out what it was. He was like her - shy. She also couldn't help but notice that the stallion's every feature complimented the others. His mane fell as it should, and his eyes stood out against his black coat, making him look mysterious and alluring. She smiled into those kind eyes and they sat in silence for a while, each staring at the others eyes. Finally, she spoke, her tones quiet, yet she didn't falter on a word. It wasn't difficult to talk to him, like it was other ponies. "I haven't seen you around. Where are you from?" She wondered whether to ask the next question or not, but she couldn't help herself, and this time, she stuttered. "Are you a-alone?" She blushed and looked away. She had tried to squish another question into that one, but she was worried he wouldn't pick up the hint.
  8. Seaspray's ears twitched as she heard somepony whistling behind her. She raised her head, although her eyes never left the horizon. She was startled to hear a shy voice nearby. Generally, nopony ever thanked her for her actions. She didn't mind this though: the satisfaction of her work was more than enough. Not only did she help out animals from time to time, but she also cleaned the shore. It was tough work sometimes, but Seaspray didn't mind. "Umm... Excuse me...I-I saw y-you releasing that turtle and thought y-you were r-really k-kind and I-I just wanted t-to s-see you. I-I'm Whisperpaw." This stallion thought she was kind? She looked at him, confused. He was rather cute. No, Seaspray! Don't be so silly, he probably already has a special somepony. She could tell she was blushing, so she looked down. "N-nice to meet you Whisperpaw. My name is, um, Seaspray. W-would you perhaps like to sit with m-me?" Was she being too forward?
  9. [OOC: This is a RP for me to try out Seaspray, again. She just needs a friend. D': ] A blue mare lay in the sand as the sun began to set over Seasaddle Bay. She lifted her head as the light breeze swept through her mane, which, unusually hung down freely, and was not tied back in it's usual braid. She smiled and nuzzled the small sea-turtle that was limping back and forth in front of her. She had rescued the creature a few days beforehand, and she knew it would soon be time to send him back home, into the ocean where he belonged. She hated that part. She loved helping every creature she found - especially those of the sea - although when she could, she helped others too. She couldn't help but get upset every time she had to let her companions go. She could feel the tears pricking at her eyes, and she hastily blinked, scolding herself: "No, don't you dare cry, you silly foal!" She didn't make much sound, but the turtle looked up at her, and she could have sworn he was imploring her to stay strong. "I know, I'm silly, but I can't help it, you've kept me company." She didn't have the knack of making friends, and despite her dream life, she couldn't help but feel lonely every now and then. "Just somepony who would understand .. " She glanced up at her surroundings, hoping upon hope to hear gentle hoofsteps, see the swish of a colourful mane. Anypony to keep her company. "..me." She watched as the turtle tried out his legs again, and once he'd found his balance, he began to make his way into the water. The mare sighed and lowered her head so it rested in the scratchy sand.
  10. Klutz giggled and pointed a hoof back at her cutie mark. "Music sounds about right, I'm a singing teacher around these parts. I live here, yep yep! Although I don't really stay here often." she raised a hoof to her chin and tapped it, seemingly lost in thought. "I like to travel and meet new friends!" She flapped her wings once and stretched, losing her balance and almost falling back into the sand. "Oopsie. What do you do on the beach?" Her attention shifted to Carousel. "You sell lollipops? That's so cool! Do you make them yourself? Do you have to taste them before you sell them? What an awesome job!" Klutz may have been a mare in age, but she was a filly at heart, and often she got shoved aside due to her energetic, hyper, foalish nature.
  11. (OOC; sorry if I'm slow to reply, I have a cookery exam to prepare for ) Silver Wish was sulking at the back of the group near Syd, who had been kind to her when Neon had teased. She suppressed a laugh as Neon fell down the hole, but kindly helped her back up. The blank-flanked filly's ears pricked up as she heard a piercing scream, and she jumped up, startled, her heart beating wildly. "Did anyone else hear that? What was it? A ghost? Vamponies?!"
  12. Sable twittered happily as the white pegasus mare opened an eye grumpily. "Wuzgoinon?" She wasn't pleased at being disturbed, although opening her eyes fully she saw a filly and a pegasus mare like herself. She yawned and stood up, shaking the sand from her coat. Huh, she hadn't seen these ponies around here. Then again, she was never really home to begin with, so that could explain it. "Hi, my name's Klutz. Who are you guys?" Sable pecked the ditzy mare's head and tweeted angrily. "Ow! Okay okay, that's my bird, Sable. She's a dove. An annoying one, at that," Klutz grumbled sleepily, holding out a hoof to shake the others', and receiving another few sharp drills on her head from the bird. Eesh, that bird was so touchy sometimes.
  13. Silver Wish frowned at Neon. That wasn't very nice.. She nuzzled Syd playfully and smiled at him. "Yay, another blank flank!" She giggled and walked on, bumping Neon in a less-than-friendly fashion with her rump, and throwing her a frown.
  14. Silver Wish jumped and scowled at Pocket as she blushed lightly, ashamed she had fallen for his trick. "Haunted? Please, don't be so foalish. There's no such thing as haunted houses!" Silver Wish shook her head followed the others. "If you believe him you're all silly."
  15. "Oooh, we could play hide and go seek! Or we could.. we could ... I dunno.." Silver Wish giggled, losing her train of thought. "Rocks and candy sounds fun too!"
  16. Silver Wish nodded. "Yeah I can use it, but not very well. Sometimes it goes wrong and Mama gets mad. Hey, you're not in my astronomy club by any chance, are ya? I can never remember names!" Silver jumped into the air, startled by his cry of pain. She made an "Oh-no-are-you-okay?" face. She pondered what he had said for a little while. Everything he'd said about the parties was true."Yeah they sell their gems here every year, not that they need to; the shop in Canterlot does well. Usually they just shove me in a corner with a book and say "Little fillies should be seen and not heard!". This year since I'm older now, they said I could go out, so that's why I'm here." She picked at the ground with her hoof, grinning shyly at the two.
  17. (OOC: Silver Wish is somewhat the opposite of PC in that her adult version is a little bit more arrogant than her filly self. ) Silver Wish nodded in silence, surveying this new pony. "Yep. Name's Silver Wish, like I said. Think I've seen you somewhere too. You look familiar." The filly used her weak magic to tug at the stupid white bow her mama had made her wear in her mane that day. "Who are you two? Oh, and I like your mane! It's cool," Silver Wish addressed the other filly who was sat on the ground.
  18. Silver Wish was walking along the lonely streets of Manehatten by herself. The filly's parents were attending a gem party, in order to drum up more business for the family's store in Canterlot, and the young filly had been cast out as the party progressed into later hours. She sighed and peered down an alley way, only to see a green-maned filly sitting alone. "Guess I should at least try and find somepony to play with," the blank-flanked filly mumbled to herself. She walked down the alleyway to where the other filly was sitting, and smiled. "Hi there, my name is Silver Wish.."
  19. Klutz was curled up in the warm sand, resting after a particularly long race with her dove, Sable. A wing shielded her eyes from the strong sunlight, and the sand was the perfect temperature to nap.. She wondered, as she drifted off into dreamland, why didn't ponies nap on the beach everyday? Sable flew in circles around the pure white pegasus mare, irritated that she wouldn't play anymore.
  20. I have quickly fixed this up - thanks. I did think about that, actually, but I wanted to show just how insecure she was about herself I did in fact clear this up with Tales beforehand, just in case.
  21. Ohmygosh, I was looking through your gallery and I was like "Please start taking requests." No lie. I love it all. Anyway, if you could draw Cleave (the pegasus mare) and Tox (the unicorn stallion). Could you have Tox nuzzling her, but she's looking the other way and trying to look angry? Her wings can cover her flank, since I haven't added a picture of her cutie mark yet, but if you really wanna add it in (you honestly don't have to xD) it's headphones with a wire in the shape of a heart. Nothing too extreme xD Cleave is quite a bit shorter than Tox, just for reference. Please feel free to experiment! :3 <-Tox / Cleave->
  22. Tip Toes watched in horror as he fell. She held out a hoof and pulled him up. "Well, good try!" She laughed kindly. She stretched her own legs and smiled at the colt. "Oh, I wasn't sure if anyone would see them. Honestly, I didn't expect anypony to come at all, what me being new and all." The mare nodded wisely, utterly oblivious to the obvious pain that the colt had once been through.
  23. Toes stamped her hooves as he found his rhythm. She smiled gleefully to him. "Now you're getting it! I'm Tip Toes by the way. Oh, I already introduced myself earlier, oh well." She moved with him, spinning around him and laughing all the while. "What brings you here?" she tried this question again, not sure to press the colt too hard.
  24. "Oh it's easy! You just gotta find the rhythm and move to it, see?" Toes began to sway to the music, her dress billowing out with every turn. She stopped to smile at the colt. "Try it!" Was this really going to turn into one of her dance classes? She was starting to move to the music when a thought struck her round the head harder than a hoof to the face. "I don't know your name!"
