  1. Pesto nodded sleepily, and mumbled a sleepy. " ..'ve you too.." The constant feeling of Grey's hoof running through her mane was comforting, and she soon drifted off, and began to dream of their first foal.
  2. "Either way, our foal will be perfect," she sighed happily, her eyes drooping slightly as the day began to catch up to her. She snuggled up to Grey and pulled his hooves more tightly around her as she tried (and failed) to disguise a yawn.
  3. Pesto giggled and laid her head on Grey's neck. She was mentally mixing Grey's and her pelt and mane colours, whilst trying to imagine what their young foal would look like. She absently stroked her belly with her wing. "Yeah. You know, I have a feeling he or she will inherit their father's brains," she murmured softly, smiling into Grey's coat.
  4. Pesto shrugged, and finished off her meal, balancing the pickle on her nose before eating it, a smile of contentment on her face. "Yum, pickles." "Mmm, with my family tree, who knows, we might even have a little unicorn," she patted her belly with her hoof, smiling motherly down at it.
  5. Pesto nearly choked on her meal at that point. She looked at him, a little bit aghast. "I don't think I could even think of names without seeing him or her," she murmured, a soft smile on her face as she imagined holding her foal for the first time. "Did you have anything in mind?"
  6. "Surprised, yes. Scared, no," she giggled and she laughed at his cuteness. She slipped onto the blankets beside him and dug into her meal happily. The two sat in silence until. "I wonder if the little one will share my love for hay fries.." she pondered.
  7. Pesto blushed lightly and kissed him back, her hooves up against his chest. She tried to reply, but he kissed her again. When she pulled away, she was blushing badly. "I l-love you too," she gasped a little, her mane falling over her face.
  8. (OOC; Sorry, thread Resurrection is go.. xD ) Pesto looked at Bright Fire distractedly and pointed to another spot on the VIP wall. She took out another print and handed it to him. "Here, can you hang that there?" Thunder Peal smiled at the two DJ's, and then to Snowy. "Your brother is very enthusiastic. It's always nice to see an enthusiastic young one." He looked up as he heard a loud voice, and he blinked, trying to digest what he was seeing in front of the open door. His jaw dropped visibly and he pulled back his glasses to get a better look. "Woah. Uh, come on in! If you can..If you can even understand me."
  9. Welcome to Canterlot! ( Because I'm too sleepy to say something more encouraging and welcoming )
  10. Pesto looked up and smiled. Within minutes, her mane and pelt had become slightly paint-splattered. She grinned sheepishly as she saw him looking at it. She sniffed excitedly. "Do I smell hay fries and hay burger?"
  11. Klutz laughed at Allegra's statement, and she watched in amusement as the pair shared a look. She contented herself with looking at the grass until she was addressed again. "Yup. I always try to make my classes fun. Even though.. Well singing is fun anyway but I like to make them extra special!" She smiled a little confusedly as the excited filly hopped in between them. She tilted her head. When she heard the filly's proposal, her eyes widened and a powder pink blush tinged the mare's white pelt around her cheeks. "Well, how do you even know that, uh, h-he wants to go to d-dinner with m-me?" she stuttered, looking up at Bass, her blush deepening.
  12. "Thank you, you're wonderful. And for dinner.. Hm, I don't mind," she mumbled, distractedly looking at her canvas. She did however kiss him back and reciprocate when she nuzzled him. She flashed him a smile and looked around at her paints. She kicked a pot open, grabbed her palette, grabbed a paintbrush and began to add splashes of colour to her sketched canvas.
  13. Pesto looked up. "Huh? What?" She blushed a little, and her eyes widened. "Oh, the garden! Oh I have so much work to do," she giggled softly. "I don't mind. Actually, I was thinking of painting this on the foal's wall. When this little one is born," she patted her belly with her wing again. "I can paint him or her in." She turned the canvas towards him. "Like, hm, counting sheep. Or a nursery rhyme, or something," she smiled shyly, worried he'd find it a little corny.
  14. Fleetfoot smiled at the bird and tilted her head. "I'm glad he does! Never did have a pet. Don't have time for one," her face fell a little as she said it. She'd love a pet to fly with on her days off from training, but it would be cruel since training took up almost all of her time. She shook her head and smiled again. She waved her hoof again. "Honestly, your thanks is more than enough. I just hope that they serve you well in practice," she paused. "You'll need it!" She burst into peals of laughter, and then wiped her eyes, still giggling. "Ehehe, sorry. You're a good flier, really. I was kidding."
  15. Pesto shook her head and giggled a little, continuing to sketch. "No, e'erthin's 'erfect," she mumbled, her mouth full of pencil. Eventually she had sketched out a large scene, with a fence in the middle and three foal shaped blobs. She put her pencil down. "Something for the foals room. Not even nearly finished yet though, but at least I have something to work with," she mumbled, more to herself than Grey.
  16. Pesto smiled shyly and looked at her canvas, a sudden image popping into her mind. She looked around and picked up a pencil between her teeth, lightly beginning to sketch. She paused. "Hmm"
  17. Pesto made a soft shh-ing noise, and looked him right in the eye. "But those things did happen for a reason. We were meant to be together, don't you see?" she smiled a watery smile and kissed him gently.
  18. Pesto's eyes began to water. She stood in front of Grey, shaking a little from emotion, and then simply rubbed her neck against his, as though trying to reassure him. "You're never losing me. Why, for me, losing you now.. It would be too much to bear," she sniffed, patting her belly with her wing gently. "I love you, Grey, don't forget that either.
  19. Pesto grinned widely and nosed his cheek, before slowly entering the room and gazing around in wonder. "Grey, it's perfect! I just don't know how you can get everything always so .. right!"
  20. Pesto shrugged, a little uncomfortably. "I sure hope so." She was nervous about becoming a mother, but she knew that with Grey by her side, she could do anything. She smiled, and told him this, and then: "Is there anything else I should see?"
  21. Pesto blushed a little, putting a wing on the other side of her belly, and smiled. "I agree." She watched in wonder at the love on his features; the way his face softened as he spoke the three words to their unborn foal. She smiled to herself more than him, murmuring softly. "I love you too," she paused. "You'll be a great father." She tilted her head and looked at her blank canvas. "I know it."
  22. Pesto giggled and clapped her forehooves together. She loved seeing blank white walls, it gave her so much more room to play around and experiment. She looked to Grey, colours swirling around in her mind, images floating around in her minds eye. She giggled again. "Did you have anything in mind?"
  23. Pesto nodded happily, her face lighting up again. She was a little reluctant to let go of Grey, and stay in this position, but her curiosity got the better of her. "Yes, I'd love to!" she giggled and began to make her way to the door, smiling.
  24. Pesto, speechless, trotted over to Grey and entwined her body around his. She nuzzled him and sighed happily once more. "It's perfect. You thought of everything." She smiled and closed her eyes, leaning against him and basking in the warmth of the sun for a few minutes.
