  1. Pesto bolted over to Grey, calming down a little as she did so. She didn't want to seem to childish in front of him. She smiled and hovered beside him, at eye level. "Yep!" she smiled widely, and planted a kiss on his nose, hoping that this simple gesture would convey all of her emotions, and especially her thanks and appreciation for what he was doing for her. She dropped to the ground, her wings still extended, and still smiling widely at him. If only she were as good with words as she was with paint..
  2. Pesto's eyes widened and she wrapped her forehooves around Grey's neck, and the excitement began to work its way out of her system, through her giggles. "Yes, it's perfect! So perfect" She stretched her wings and pulled away from her coltfriend, and zoomed into the air, hovering a few feet over Grey as she surveyed the house once again. She was smiling widely and her wings were flapping rapidly as she shook with repressed excitement. This is it!
  3. Pesto's ears perked up in excitement, and she surveyed the house again, weighing up the pros and cons. She was struggling to keep her excitement caged, but she tried to remain focused; everypony that knew her knew she could get easily distracted. She smiled widely to Grey, and nuzzled him, giving in and letting out a small squee of excitement. She closed her eyes briefly and began to imagine their foals running (or zooming..) around the house. She hoped there might be a spare room in which she could have her paint supplies, away from the foals, but that was the least of her worries. "Really? You like it too?"
  4. Life Line was looking down at her hooves nervously as the band got set up, and didn't even notice that she was supposed to be getting set up too, until she heard the interference with the mic as Iron Rainbow plugged it in. "Oh!" She jumped up and grabbed her own (brand new!) mic from her saddle bag, plopped the bag in the corner away from everypony else and ran to find someplace to plug it in. Once she had found a place, she grabbed a stand and set her mic up, shuffling nervously from hoof to hoof. It was her dream to sing in a band, and she wouldn't mess this up by having shaky vocals... She hoped. She flipped her mane over her blind eye, as she usually did when she was nervous, and picked at the ground with her hoof, not sure if she was even needed for this particular rehearsal.
  5. Seaspray nodded, but her usual smile didn't return until after she kissed him back, and the usual bubble of love filled her up until the same smile flitted back onto her features, and a soft blush powdered her cheeks. She then tucked into her pancakes, and sighed happily. It wasn't often Seaspray had time for a meal in the mornings; her job made her much too busy to do such a thing! She looked up when she heard the foal's plea, and she sighed again, although a little sadly. "Midnight Sun, if the puppy was your puppy, and you had lost her, you'd want her back yes? It's the only right thing to do." Dare she continue and get the foals hopes up? One look at the foals face, and she broke. "Besides, she seems to know her way around too well, so she may well be a stray." she paused and added in quiet voice, after a thought, "Just don't get your hopes up too much, little one."
  6. Pesto's smile returned fully as the two began to make their way to the bay. The sun sparkled off the water, and every which way Pesto glanced, she could see the shimmering and glinting of the surface. The sun on her pelt kept her warm, and there was nothing that could dampen her spirits. She looked up to the houses that dotted along the bay, and she felt the feathers on her wings ruffle slightly with the soft breeze that played around the bay. She couldn't see any faults with them yet. They seemed big enough, and it seemed like a lovely place to raise foals. She turned to Grey, a soft smile upon her features as she fixed her glasses up onto her nose. She tilted her head, "What do you think?"
  7. We'll miss you, Lime. Incidentally, while I'm here, after a pneumonia scare, I'm bedridden and my laptop has been confiscated. I'll try to get better asap so I can reply to my RPs
  8. Pesto followed his line of sight, a gentle frown replacing her smile as she gazed up to the condo, thinking hard. No, he was right. Not the most suitable place for a family. She then turned back to glance to the bay. She slowly began to nod. "The waterfront. It sounds beautiful. Well, it can't hurt to try," she said, in a playful tone. Her imagination had flared up, and she was smiling as she imagined their young foals running around under their hooves all the time. She couldn't begin to think of a better place to raise a family, and she was so grateful to Grey for everything he had done to make this possible.
  9. Pesto's soft smile widened, the pink blush - that seemed so permanent when she was Grey - tinging her cheeks. She spoke again, her voice as soft as the waves lapping against the shore. "I love you too." They set down the hill, and once the two had reached the bottom, she turned her smile back to Grey. She put her right forehoof over her eyes and pointed her wing in a random direction. She laughed softly, wondering if Grey would remember the significance of this gesture. Either way, she began in the direction she had indicated, until her hooves made contact with the stone streets of Baltimare. She took a breath and looked back to Grey once more, gazing down the road that was soon to be an oh-so-familiar path as they made their home here.
  10. After all this time, the feeling of Grey's hoof around hers never failed to give Pesto butterflies. It seemed to her, that every moment they spent together brought them ever closer. Which in it's own right, seemed something a little ludicrous to Pesto, considering how close the two already were. Currently, gazing down upon the beauty that was soon to be their future home, did nothing to help ease the butterflies in her stomach. It had been long coming, but finally she knew that she was going to settle, after so many years of the uncertainty. The long awaited stability she had so craved was finally upon them, and as she turned to gaze into Grey's eyes, she inclined her head, indicating that she was ready to take the next step in her life. She then touched her nose to his cheek; something that had become a habit of hers. Her features showed that of anticipation, and of nerves, but at the feeling of his warm cheek, a small smile began to play around her lips. "It's more amazing than I ever could have imagined. It's ... perfect," she murmured, as though she had read his mind, rather than read the simple action that indicated the silent question he hadn't ever asked.
  11. Seaspray smiled and took the foal carefully onto her back and paused before she exited the rooms slowly. "I cleaned your room, don't worry," she chuckled lightly, and then began out of the room, and down the stairs back into the kitchen. She walked at a slow pace, so as not to jostle the foal on her back. She smiled at Whisperpaw as they entered. "One sleepy filly, ready for some breakfast, I think," she teased, and carefully set Midnight Sun onto a chair. She then herself sat down beside Whisperpaw. "Do you have any plans for today?" she frowned a little as something dawned on her. "Then again, you don't seem up to much, Whisperpaw. Perhaps you both should just relax today," Seaspray stated, a small smile once again playing around her lips. She didn't want either the foal nor the stallion to overwork themselves.
  12. Roleplay Type: Mane Name: Pesto Sex: Female Age: Mare Species: Pegasus Eye Color: Deep blue Coat Color: Mint green (#B9FDBA) Mane/Tail/Markings Color & Style: (#67F88C) Short-ish straight mane that falls over the right hand side of her face; longer, straight tail of the same colour. Her rump is speckled in the same shade as her mane. Physique: Regular pegasus build; although her wings are slightly stronger than average due to her travelling. Cutie Mark: A large green leaf, half covered in rainbow paint. Origin/Residence: Born in Cloudsdale, travelled around a little, and now resides in Baltimare. Occupation: Currently trying to sell her leaf-prints from home; but hopes to someday showcase them, or failing that, to design gardens for other ponies. Motivation: To find a nice place to settle down in, with the perfect stallion; to finally have some stability. Likes: Printing, the sun, a good book, an afternoon nap, a good night’s sleep, spending time with her family. Dislikes: Large cities, unpleasant surprises, too much loud noise, storms. Character Summary: History: Born and raised by pegasi parents in Cloudsdale with her twin brother, Thunder Peal, Pesto had a happy foalhood. Things changed late in her fillyhood, when her younger brother was born; a unicorn. The family moved to Manehatten, and a deeply unhappy Pesto began to resent her new hometown, while her parents and brothers seemed to have settled in quite well. Being in her late fillyhood and having just finished school, she decided to travel, and find a place where she could settle down, and be as happy as she was in Cloudsdale. She uprooted again, and took off to find her fate, despite hardly being able to bear the pain and guilt of leaving her twin behind. She knew he missed her just as much as she missed him, and to this day she sometimes visits him in his new Manehatten home, where he has made his own life for himself. Her family didn't seem too bothered by her leaving home; perhaps they thought it was time she flew the nest. There were tears, and she did miss them but there was no bitter resentment in her leaving. She knew she couldn't bear to return to Cloudsdale, because the history of her family's happy life there would haunt her too much, and make her miss her brother even more. She travelled endlessly, never much entering a large city or town, but staying to the outskirts as much as possible. She was lonely, but it all changed when she decided to venture to Canterlot, and seek out a certain idol of hers, who was rumoured to be in the area. She ended up in the campus of Canterlot U, where she did indeed find her idol - a very famous musician pony - but more importantly, a stallion who seemed to take a certain interest in her. The two began to bond instantly, and soon, were talking more and more about places to settle in, and despite herself, Pesto got drawn in. Grey Matter seemed to her, to be the perfect stallion, and she was soon beginning to fall for him; her first coltfriend. The two soon became inseperable and began to make plans for a life, and a family in Baltimare. Cutie Mark Story: As a young filly in Cloudsdale, Pesto would sometimes gaze over the edge of the clouds and see the tops of trees, and always wondered how they could come in such different shapes and sizes. She had always loved playing with paint, and was rarely seen by her family without some smudge of paint on her pelt, or in her mane. She and her twin had always been rather mellow, and never the types to venture off where they weren't allowed, but both were strong fliers, despite having dreams that didn't involve using their wings much. The two ventured down to the land early one calm morning, and Pesto was fascinated by the trees and their different leaves, which came in many different shapes and sizes. By the time they had made their way back home, Pesto had two full saddlebags in which were stuffed to the brim with leaves. She got home, and locked herself in her room, where she began to paint more and more, covering the leaves in paint and printing them onto her canvas. Then she finally opened her room, and allowed her family to see her work. When she saw their eyes lighting up when they saw the different colours on the canvas, there was a small flash, and Pesto finally knew that her calling in life was to exhibit her prints, and colour all of Equestria. Flaws: Pesto has a tendency to zone out and get completely distracted when it comes to her coltfriend, Grey, and can sometimes be a little paranoid. She is sometimes known as a worrier. Personality: Pesto can come across as a little bit rude due to distraction sometimes, but at heart, is a kind and seemingly carefree mare. She loves foals, and can't wait to have her own. She is rather maternal when it comes to foals, and sheis somewhat shy, but despite this isn't afraid to speak her mind, most of the time.
  13. Seaspray looked in concern to Whisperpaw, and she nuzzled him as he placed the plates on the table. She looked up ad nodded, her brow furrowed slightly. "Yes, we'll be down soon," she stated, her voiced laced with a soft note of worry. She was still frowning as she found herself walking the stairs. She turned to knock on the foal's door, and entered slowly. Poking her head in, she gasped loudly. "Midnight Sun? Are you alright?" Seaspray suddenly realised what caused the mess when she caught sight of the book lying open near the foal's head. She rolled her eyes, and preformed a clean-up spell; something she did so often she didn't even have to concentrate when she did it. Within no time, Seaspray had cleaned the room, and went over to nudge the foal. "Breakfast's ready, you silly filly." She lay down near the bed, ready to help the foal onto her back to carry her downstairs.
  14. Okay.. Completely and utterly No.1 Fanfilly over here. *Waves foam finger*
  15. *Squee* You officially have one fanfilly.
  16. Yay BBBFF! I've had it stuck in my head all day.
  17. Yes, yes you should. I still love it though
  18. Crescent Blaze, you will stop being so stubborn and accept that it is good! ^ This.
  19. Seaspray awoke to the pleasant smell of cooking pancakes. She stretched in the bed, reaching for Whisperpaw, when she realised that of course, the reason she could smell cooking, was probably be because he was downstairs cooking. She got out of the bed, laughing at herself softly and trotting downstairs, full of fresh energy. She picked out a brush from her saddlebags, ran it through her ever-so-slightly tangled mane, and entered the kitchen slowly. She came up behind him and planted a soft kiss on his cheek. "Morning, handsome," she teased playfully.
  20. I feel like I have to do one to compete with you both now. Incidentally, I'm becoming addicted to listening to it
  21. CRESCENT! ..Wow!~ That has to be one of the better This Day Aria colt versions I've heard! Why didn't you tell me you could sing?! *Grumble grumble*
  22. Seaspray was caught unaware when Whisperpaw took him into his hooves and carried her into the bed. She watched concernedly as he collapsed after putting her down, and she realised just how tired and painstaking those few steps to the bedside must have been for him. She bit her lip to stop herself from bursting into tears all over again. When he slipped in beside her, and after his whispered remark, she nuzzled him, blushing a tremendous shade of red. Just as he was drifting off, she nosed his ear. "My handsome, selfless stallion." Her eyelids then began to droop, and she tucked her head under Whisperpaws, hooves wrapped around him tightly as she too began to slip off to sleep; a soft smile on her face.
  23. Not sure if there's a conflict, but I have an OC by the name of Seaspray.
