Today, I just got an email from the lady who took my girls. They have more sisters! And lots of toys! I bet they're happy. That makes me feel loads better. Thanks.
My coworkers know, mainly because I ask them in round-about ways that they should watch it. "Hey, if a kids show made a clear Icarus myth legend, you'd watch it, right? How about Benny Hill?" I'm the only person I know who is genuinely excited by this show. It's lonely. It also makes me feel like I'm insane sometimes.
Books: Not so much a guilty pleasure, but I recommend this to absolutely everyone if I get the chance. "Soon I Will Be Invincible" by Austin Grossman. Music: Creed. I mention I like them and suddenly, I'm a leper. TV: Good Eats I suppose, since we're not counting MLPFIM in this thread. Movies: Tron, the original. Mystery Men. The Spirit.
And now I do my job while not clocked in. Ahem... Your local Barnes and Noble should be able to have them ordered for you. Takes 2-3 business days to get there usually, though bad luck means it could be up to six. No need to order in advance either. Also, if you were a member, you'd get 10% off your purchase! ...I could talk about the kids club but.... nah.
Hello fellow strap hanger! Welcome aboard! I saw cartooning in there and I'd like to recommend when the time comes, SVA (School of Visual Arts) as your university. They actually have a cartooning major. I wish I knew about that when it was time for me to head to U. -_-
I saw many threads about it on 4chan's /co/. Now, having had an older sister, I was acquainted enough with them. Hell, she forced me to watch with her when all I wanted was Transformers. So this time, I figured "Eh, they were right about Wakfu".
Consider for a moment everypony the difference between this: And this: One of them is a harmless prank and will probably result in Luna ordering fifty three pizzas to her big sister's private chambers. Or perhaps plastic wrap on the royal potty. The other is psychotic and depressing. When viewing images such as these, remember to stop and think for a moment: "What would Pinkie Pie do?"
Every year for the past... six? I head to Otakon in Baltimore, MD. Last year, for the first time I went to NYCC. I hope to make it regular. Maybe Pax. I hear my coworkers have a ball there. Plus, it's where one of them got married.
