I used the lightest color of her eyes (the highlights) as a guide since it looks like a unicorn's magic aura is the same as their eye color (purple for Twi, blue for Rarity). I set the brush to screen on a normal layer to do the glow. The extra glow on her horn were second strokes using that same screen brush. The sparkles are different, it is the same color but a screen layer with a normal brush (so the opposite of what I did for the horn).

As for the clouds, I used pictures from the show for reference, but I drew them myself.

Did you make a stamp for all those trees or did you draw each one individually? (Either way, they're pretty neat. )

Single tree, copied and pasted. They're split into layers with the layers further back having a colour overlay to mix them with the background colour. I glad you guys liked them, I was worried that they would blend into each other.
