  1. "Oh, well if its my choice, inside would be nice. I've been running that stand for a while, and somewhere enclosed would the closest thing to home I could get in this city." Walking up to the door, she held it open for Wine&Dine, while taking a second look inside. Yup, the inside of the building was perhaps rather boxed in, but it was sort of similar to a cave. Besides, just being inside would be a nice change of pace from being caught up in all the city hustle. Being starstruck was rather exhausting, really.
  2. "Oh, that may not be quite for me then. I still struggle with low key, after, well, you know." Amber shuffled a touch. Then she was happy again. Sure high key might be difficult, but just imagine the reward! Oh well, that was an adventure for another time. Taking a look around, she wondered how this town was difficult to look at. It was no mountain, but it was decent looking compared to a few other towns. So Sierra must have a high view on Cantorlot then. She started to dwell on this, before she realized idle chit-chat only occupied her attention for so long. Already, she was making brief glances around for something eye-catching. Deciding she should at least try to remain kind, extending an offer to this dragon couldn't hurt. "Erm, its been lovely talking and all, but would you happen to know any of the sights-to-see around here?"
  3. Book two as in TT I think I may have gotten a few chapters past Treebeard's introduction
  4. I've tried to read them about 5 times now, but whenever I do the universe conspires against me and I have to postpone it I have yet to make it past the middle of book 2.
  5. Well, may I provide two different view points? ...wait, I answer questions, I don't ask them. Possibility 1 - yes, it is normal, but you should probably get something too eat. Possibility 2 - Still pretty normal, if you've ever swallowed a broken fax machine.
  6. If I wasn't, there wouldn't be much point to this thread. So fire away! Arm all questions! Let the game begin anew!
  7. Logical? very. Accurate? Not so much. That said, some of what said still applies, like for example it's still difficult to feel silly while sick or tired. Which I happen to be right now. I'll answer more questions tomorrow, but for now I'll bid thee farewell, along with any potential curious folk.
  8. Oh, you were never a Pokemon. I'm just crazy enough to make the comparisons.
  9. As the five (minus the payed help) walked, a thought struck Riddle. He hadn't seen the inside pf Cantorlot in years. He assumed it would be the same the same, but he really didn't know. "Hey Mythos, hows Cantorlot been lately? Is it still that same bastion of fancy, or has it all gone shmancy?"
  10. If the loopiness stopped - yes If its still going on - no If it balances out - maybe Until I know for certain - I don't know Just to be sure though - can you repeat the question?
  11. I do believe your starting to catch on. The tomatoes act as a replacement for the sillyness. It has been proven time and time again that one can't feel silly and sick at the same time (with the exception of delirium) because one is too busy feeling terrible and sick and what-not. That said, they're still only plan B, because no one wants to be sick.
  12. This thing all things devours: Birds, beasts, trees, flowers; Gnaws iron, bites steel; Grinds hard stones to meal; Slays king, ruins town, And beats high mountain down. What is it?
  13. That is a completely fair point, but consider this. If you're sleepy that would override the loopiness in the same way that a Pokemon can't attack itself in its confusion while asleep. This gives time for the former to where out while the latter takes place in a worst case scenario. Also, those tomatoes are an excellent plan B.
  14. Query - if one were to (and this is completely hypothetical, mind you) go about taking over a small country or large town, what would be the most efficient way of dealing with any current high ranking political figures? Additional footnote - Ideally this should be done discreetly.
  15. North Star flinched a little when the pegasus hissed at him. He supposed it was the stress of the situation, so he tried not to make to much of it, but it still caught him a bit off guard. Shaking his head, he decided not to reply. Anything he could have added would do nothing but keep them in the same place. The longer they stayed in the same place the more likely they were to find out what was making the hissing noise. He certainly figured remaining silent was a better alternative to that. After a good minute or so of walking, North Star noticed two things. First, his eyes were finally starting to adjust to the light. He still couldn't see clearly for more than five or so feet, and he need to focus a bit to actually see anything, but just this fact alone gave him hope. The second thing he noticed concerned the hissing noise. It seemed to get quieter the first couple moments, but now it just seemed to stay at exactly the same sound. Which clearly meant it was following them. Which was bad. Turning around, motioned to the pegasus, saying "Well, our friend back there seems upset we're leaving. We could either hurry it up and try to lose it, or I could stall for a minute or so then catch up to you. Your tumble, your choice after all." North Star tried to be as happy toned as he could. He certainly didn't want to do anything that upset the pegasus, because that would be a blunder he wouldn't forget for a while. Giving a choice seemed like a simple enough solution to that one.
  16. Well, if I've learned anything from Pokemon its that you can't be affected by more than two things at the same time. If you were to be sleepy that would mean the loopy feeling - as you put it - would be gone, yes. Although those microwaved tomatoes might do the same thing. Worth a shot.
  17. Well you see, it all started with Indiana Jones. We all know the first three movies were brilliant, but the fourth movie was met with such criticism that it was considered just plain silly (mind you that this was the general opinion - not mine). Since the fourth movie featured aliens, the actual aliens figured that if they kept masquerading as loopy superstitions no one would take them seriously enough to try and, you know, discover them. As an extension of this, they're researching the effects of forcing the idea of loopiness into others so as to remain in hiding.
  18. Well, there are few things that might be going on here, but all of them are obvious. As most people know, the obvious answer is always wrong (or just plain boring) so I'm going to chalk this one up to aliens.
  19. Yes, actually. Didn't pull it out first, ended up eating a small chunk of my computer. Some lessons you learn the hard way.
  20. Amber chuckled along with the dragon. "True, true. My teeth are a bit pointier than they should be." Pausing for a bit, she took in the information. Clearly it wasn't as difficult as she had first thought for a dragon to be raised among ponies. The bit about pony food was a touch interesting. Being raised by a full blown cave dragon, she had never really seen her mother eat much besides gems, although in retrospect Amber realized she could have easily eaten anything she wanted. "So, how's Cantorlot? I've always wanted to go there, really... Wait, I'm getting ahead of myself. You don't even know my name and you know more about my past then I usually share. My name's Amber Flare." It was only fair to give her name, after this amount of time
  21. If you can pull out the digital coding into an edible muffin, I'd imagine they'd be very safe and very, very tasty. Given that they have faces, it might be a touch unsettling though...
  22. Well, I feel better now, so the replying can start up once more!

  23. Indeed I have! Several actually, ranging from Mabonagi to Runescape among others, but currently I play League of Legends. I do believe that answers your question, so here is your complimentary muffin:
  24. Amber paused for a minute, not realizing her mistake until Wine&Dine had pointed it out. She certainly didn't see it at first, but Amber wasn't quite sure how she had looked it over in the first place. Taking a look through the window, she decided that it looked nice. "Well, to be fair I didn't know we were going to this specific cafe, although it does look nice." She decided to briefly give an explanation of why she had overlooked it, just to cover her tracks up a little.
