  1. Well, I would be up for doing something if Solven was in either Canterlot or Ponyville. Those are the only two cities I see Ice Storm being in at the moment, and she's my only Character at the moment.
  2. Applejack watched as Twilight pulled the black parchment from her saddlebag and it already made her feel uneasy. When she mentioned it was from Luna and not Celestia, it made her even more so. Twilight opened it. "Twilight Sparkle. The assistance of you and your friends is required in Canterlot as soon as possible. Bring the Elements of Harmony. HURRY!!". "If Luna's the one sendin' the messages then there's got to be something wrong," she observed hearing Twilight mention they should go get Fluttershy next. "I'm right behind ya sugarcube! Let's go" she said bolting towards Fluttershy's.
  3. Ice laughed and walked along side Rarity to the cafe watching as she made sure to flip the open sign around so that customers didn't waltz in with no one there. "It's been so long since we've actually had a chance to talk. In fact, the only time we've met prior to that that wasn't business related was the first day I came to Ponyville at the party for Gerty and Golden's anniversary. It's hard to believe it's been just over a month already," she said smiling. "Speaking of which, I'm sorry it took so long to get the bits back to you. I had intended on paying it out of my first few sales, but I had to double my supply orders because I had run out of supplies. Which was why I was closed a few days ago." she explained. "It's a good thing though, it means everypony likes them," she added with a laugh.
  4. Somepony could always come to the castle. The bickering between the princesses is getting to a stalemate.
  5. Ice could only smile when Rarity insisted that she start paying for the snow cones soon. That it didn't seem right to get something so good for free. "Okay, okay. As long as you accept a freebie ever now and then at least," Ice storm said as she followed Rarity out of the store. She told her that she could decide where they ate at, that it didn't have to be anything fancy, that something more casual would be just fine. "The cafe then? I don't really know of many other places to go to," she stated walking next to her.
  6. ( Yeah, that's fine, in the future though if you're just posting an OOC post, please use the OOC topic. Thanks.)
  7. (Until AJ's spot gets filled, I'm going to fill her so we can move on. Luna wasn't sure what was taking the six mares so long. perhaps twilight was having trouble finding everyone. This was very sudden, but as is the case with most emergencies. "We can't wait much longer, Gaurds! Arrange a chariot to Go to Ponyville at once to pick up twilight Sparkle and her friends. Use your fastest fliers possible. and Help get them together if they aren't." she ordered. "Whoa nelly!" Applejack said walking out of the storm cellar. "That was sure somethin'. Ain't seen a Rogue storm like that in forever," she thought out loud to herself. She looked just past the gate of the farm to see that it hadn't been damages, and she was more surprised to see twilight running at full speed towards the farm. Applejack went up to the gate. "Whoa Nelly there sister, We're alright here," she said before noting the look of pure terror on her face and noticed the false book in her saddle back. "Uh... this has to with somethin' bigger than this, doesn't it..." she assumed. She may not have been all that into books, but she knew "that" book. it was the book that had the elements in it. She knew Twilight wouldn't have that book on her unless something big was happening.
  8. Ice smiled back at Rarity's words. Hearing her say how much it meant that she remained so adamant about paying her back. She giggled back, "Well why wouldn't I be. You've been so nice to me it's only proper I make sure you get all you deserve, and the free snow cones are just for being a good friend," Ice smiled. She knew how much Rarity loved her snow cones so i was only decent of her as her friend to cut her a break where most vendors wouldn't. When she agreed to go to lunch it made Ice even more happy. It'd been a while since she got to spend any decent time with Rarity. Between their schedules, the times that she came to her Frozen Delights was really the only time that she got to see Rarity anymore. That was something that she wanted to amend. Perhaps they could find something else that they have in common while on lunch that they could do together more often. "Delightful, where are you thinking?" she asked wanting to make sure that Rarity was happy. She had more than enough bits at this point to cover all but the super most expensive restaurants.
  9. Ice Storm had no idea that there was anypony else in the park. She figured at this time of night every other pony would be asleep. That was everypony except one, and Ice couldn't possibly think of a reason for her to be anywhere other than the castle. She wasn't alone in the park though, and a soft, "excuse me," came from behind her Ice turned around to see who else could possibly be here at this time of night and if they were looking for any sort of help. When she saw the princess, "Princess Luna!" she stated a mixture of shock and joy as she knelt respectfully before her. When Luna asked if she was aware of what time it was, and that it's been dark for hours Ice nodded. "I know, kind makes me sad that the Not-Quite-as-Grand Galloping Gala went as far into the night as it did. As far as being lost, I practically spent what fillyhood I had left after I came to Canterlot in this park. There have been a few changes, but not enough o confuse me too much. Back when I lived here before, I use to come to this park every night and just stare at the stars. It was always usually the best part of my days, and honest, no offense meant to you sister, but you do a lot better job at the night than she did. It's much more luminescent. I still sleep in the park at home in Ponyville at times just so I can be out at night, a habit I got into to relieve stress after always fighting with most of the locals here," she explained to her hoping that she wasn't boring her with her somewhat long explanation.
  10. Ice Storm smiled when Rarity cam out of the back. She was worried that maybe she had gone off to fulfill one of her other orders and had forgotten to take her sign down. If that had been the case, Ice would have sat and waited outside her boutique until she got back to make sure that nopony tried anything. Granted this was Ponyville, and things like that were nearly unheard of here, it didn't mean that Ice wasn't worried about it. It was a moot concern though at the moment because Rarity was right in front of her, and greeted her. When she asked what she could do for her, Ice just reached into her saddle bag and pulled out the ten bits that she owed her and placed them on her counter. "Oh not a whole lot today. I was just coming over today to pay you the bits that I owed you and to see if you wanted to go for lunch, my treat," she asked the white mare politely.
  11. It had been little over a month now since Ice Storm had moved to Ponyville, and only a couple weeks since she'd gotten Frozen Delights open and it had been a hit in the town, something that she was very much happy about. The fact that she actually had the bits to do things for herself now took a lot of stress off of her, and made her feel more comfortable with herself without having to rely on the generosity of the ponies here in Ponyville, which even as kind and generous as they are, can only go so far. She was glad that she didn't have to test how far. Today was a day of redemption for her though. Well not really redemption, but it was to her. It had been almost a month since she bought her glorious dress from Rarity and has even since been to a Gala with it since. Now that her views on Canterlot had changed somewhat, she figured that she would be getting more use out of it, and would eventually be another dress if for nothing else other than variety. That wasn't why she was going to Rarity's today though. No, as for now the dress she had was perfect. Today she was going to pay off the last ten bits that she owed Rarity as well as treat her for lunch if she was interested. Ice Storm approached the boutique and opened the door seeing that the sign said open. She looked at some of the other dresses that were on the racks, and just like before she found herself mesmerized by the sight of them. They were so elegant and magnificent, that some of them even made hers look simple. Which, in all honest it was, but it was still perfect for her. She did purchase one of the cheaper dresses she though, but then again she wasn't sure because she suspect that Rarity dropped the price a bit for her. Not that it mattered, Ice padded her way further into the store. "Rarity, are you home? I came in because the sign said open," she stated, not seeing her when she immediately walked in.
  12. Since I have not heard from Korok123 in over two weeks in regards to this RP, I am opening up her position on Applejack. This position will be filled on a first come first serve basis.
  13. "Indeed they are. I feel a lot more at home there than I ever have living here. Even when I didn't have a place to stay the first couple nights and slept in the park everything was peaceful. I wish I would have seen it first when I walked here from Fillydelphia. I would have been able to save myself a lot of headaches. This Gala though is at the very least letting me know that kindhearted ponies still exist here in Canterlot. Something that when I first moved to Ponyville, I kinda forgot," she admitted. "What about you? When I did live here before, I always had heard the nicest things about you," she smiled back to her. Apparently word of her "troublesome behavior" as the nobles put it hadn't gotten around as much as she thought. She was almost certain that she would be seen as a curse or an abomination her because of her past here. She was very much happy to see that this wasn't the case at all.
  14. Cadence looked over to Luna. She didn't buy it. She knew Luna was strong enough to be capable of something like this, wasn't she? She made Celestia disappear when she came back from the moon for pony sake. She had to admit though, if it was Luna, she was making it look very good that it wasn't. She'd seen Luna upset about things like this several times before, but never to this extent. Inside, even Cadence had to admit to herself, this was a bit much even for Luna. She hung her head down and brushed it next to her aunts. "I'm sorry, you're right. I shouldn't have jumped to conclusions like that. It does look suspicious with the timing and all, but honestly," she said looking around the room. "Whoever did this made a far bigger mess of the place than I think you're even capable of," Cadence said jokingly. "You'd be surprised," she said with a smirk. "Though one thing that is odd. Look at everything in this room. The damage that is in this room is not consistent with that of a tornado. All the damage is going out towards the walls. If this was all just from a tornado, then from where it hit, all the damage should be over there!" she said pointing a hoof to the north side of the room. "But there is damage all around., and look at this window... All the windows are broken yes, but there is very little glass from this window inside. a majority of it continues outside in a straight line." Luna added looking up to see the dark mass of storm clouds sink over the peaks of the Eponnine Mountains. "Did you see that Cadence?" "I did." "Oh Twilight... where are you..."
  15. That is kinda awesome. I wish I would have been in there to see it, but it won't be long before I see it again. Solar Eclipses aren't as uncommon as people lead to believe.
  16. Ice Storm casually started eating on her salad careful as to not to get the dressing all over her. "It's okay. I just highly doubt I'll be back there for a while. Speaking of this hobby shop though, it sounds kind of fun. You said that you had a lot of games and things of the like there. May I ask what they are? I've never heard of games that you make things yourself in. I would be most interested in learning about this games once I'm back on my hooves," she commented to High Roller as the mayor stood up. She bid her farewells to every pony adding to ice that if she needed anything to feel free to stop by her office in the town hall. Ice nodded, "I will Madam Mayor. It was a pleasure to meet you," she said turning back to the others at the table. "Anyway, I'm hoping to be able to reopen Frozen Delights here at some point. I just need to figure out whom I would need to talk to about getting everything lined up for getting started. As is now though, what's next on the Agenda Lore for when we get back to your shop?"
  17. Ice Storm just waited back behind her cart while her customers conversed. there were many things that they were talking about to help with Lore's shop as well as with the general interests of decorating. Ice Smiled. she was hoping that she was going to get a few more customers than this, but she had customers right now and that made her happy. She only had to make a couple more sales too before she could pay Rarity back completely for her dress that she had bought. AS it stood now though, she was content to let everyone talk peacefully and be there for any pony if they needed anything else. Now that they had mentioned Decorating, Ice herself had a question for Rarity about it, but since she was in conversation with Lore already she would ask her about it later.
  18. Chapter 6: Concerns For the first time since she had been back to Canterlot, Luna didn’t have responsibility for the moon. It wasn’t something that she liked at all. The moon was everything to her, and even after spending a thousand years imprisoned in it, it was still her pride and joy. Tonight however she hated the moon. She hated the night in general right now because she knew that they all needed the rest and that they were losing valuable time that they could be using to find Celestia. The fact that the moon wasn’t as bright as normal tonight also unsettled her. She didn’t know how long Cadence would be able to handle everything being thrown at her at once. Perhaps I should have stayed there, I at least have a minute amount of experience in how to run things. She is learning everything on the go, and I forced her into it. If everypony hates her now it would be my fault… she thought to herself. Every other pony had managed to fall asleep at this point, but the sheer amount of worry and stress that had built up in Luna had made it impossible for her to fall asleep. Even as tired as she was, she could not let her mind rest about her sister. The fact that she was gone and that there was something in Equestria that was naturally stronger than both her and Celestia was off-putting. If it could beat her sister with ease, and Celestia was more powerful than Luna could ever hope to be, she only wondered what good they would actually be able to do, or if they would have to give into whatever this thing was. She laid her head on her hooves, it feeling almost as heavy as lead at this point. More of these thoughts ran through her head as she laid there, but somehow, she managed to fall asleep. The group of mares awoke at dawn, Luna still being quite groggy from the lack of sleep that she had received from the night before. A part of what she concluded it to be, along with her stress was the fact that she doesn’t normally sleep at night, so it was something that she had to get used to despite how tired she was. “You alright Luna? You… kinda don’t look so good…” “Rainbow!” “What? She doesn’t,” Rainbow Dash stated plainly. “She’s still a lady Rainbow, and as much as I’m sure you hate lady-like things, some ladys don’t like it when they are told that they look anything less than spectacular,” Rarity informed her with Rainbow Dash just rolling her eyes. “Yeah, yeah, we don’t have time for a lecture. I was just concerned about her because she looked like she had slept wrong or something.” Rainbow finished. “I’m fine girls, really.” Princess Luna said looking to both Rainbow Dash and Rarity. “We have more pressing things to worry about at the moment than me,” Luna said looking to the east. The sun was rising in the sky. Already inside of her she got the feeling that they were not going to like the paths that they were going to have to take in order to get her sister back. It was a trip that she was very much not looking forward to continuing but wanted to continue all the same. “Come on. The more time we waste here, the less time we have to find Princess Celestia,” Twilight stated, the others nodding in agreement. “Let us go then,” Luna announced and the group began to traverse the fields ahead. “So, Luna, Aside from the recent events, how has everypony been treating you since your return to Canterlot? Surely they all can’t hate you as much as you think they do.” “I could only wish they didn’t, but you heard their outcry at first when I mentioned Celestia’s disappearance as I did. They have always hated me Lady Rarity, and they will forever hate me until I figure out how to clear my name from Nightmare Moon.” “Well if it’s any consolation at all, we never hated you.” “Yeah! That whole thing on Nightmare Night last year was totally because it was fun! We weren’t actually scared of you or anything,” Pinkie Pie admitted to her. “Though thinking about it now, I didn’t realize how horrible it made you feel at the time. I honestly thought it was all part of the party so I just went along with it!” “Ha! Pinkie Pie, you are something else,” Rainbow Dash commented. Luna fell silent. As much as she wanted to carry on a conversation with these ponies, and as much as it did help to know that she wasn’t hated by every pony in Equestria, the only think she could think about right now was Celestia. Hold on sister. We’ll be there soon, she thought to herself. “Luna you okay?” Twilight asked. “Not really, no. Can you imagine what it’s like?” “Well, I was sort of in the same position not too long ago at the wedding, except I was the one that got kidnapped and Shining Armor never even knew about it.” “Then you know what I’m going through then at the moment. The amount of worry I have for not only my sister, but for Cadence as well is almost unbearable. Of the three of us, no offence meant to her, she is by far the weakest. I honestly don’t know how long she will be able to keep everything sustained, not to mention she’s basically been cast to the fire at this point. She’s used to being loved and everypony looking up to her, and now I fear that I may have done something that will severely hurt her.” “Come on now, I know things look dim, but surely everypony knows that Cadence is going to do everything she can in the absence of you and Princess Celestia. In fact I would be surprised if most of the Royal Guard is helping her at this point. Shining Armor is the Captain of the Guard at this point so It would be silly to think that she wasn’t getting help from them on how you and your sister do things.” “That may be, but that doesn’t change the fact that she has the eyes of everypony on her now, and in a different perspective that from her wedding.” “She will be fine. Besides, if everything goes well, we won’t be gone too long,” Twilight reminded her. “And what if we don’t make it back at all?” “Hey now, that’s not the proper way to think of any situation.” “Says the pony that almost missed the best fliers competition because she had performance anxiety.” “Umm, Rarity, that was a lot different than this. As much as I thought it would be a life or death thing at the time it doesn’t hold a candle to this. We’re behind you all the way Luna. Once we find Celestia, we’re going to take the Elements of Harmony, and shove them down the throat of whoever took her.” “I wish I could be as optimistic as you are Rainbow, but I just don’t know what could have had the strength to do something like this, and that is what’s worrying me the most. The fact that I have no idea what we’re going to be fighting,” Luna finished as they came up to a large lake. “Ugh, really? As if we didn’t have enough problems already, the terrain itself has decided to slow us down.” “No it hasn’t. In fact, this could do the opposite!” Ice Storm stated as she moved up to the lake. “How could this possibly speed us up? There’s no way that we can get across this with any sort of speed…” Rainbow Dash commented. “Watch,” Ice replied as her horn lit up and the water in front of them started to freeze over instantly. “The manipulation of water and Ice is my special talent. Raindow Dash, if you and Princess Luna can get behind us and use your speed to push us, we’ll be able to cross this lake as fast as you would be able to.” “Consider it done. I must say, that’s a pretty nifty talent.” With that Rainbow Dash and Luna both got behind the group of mares and Ice Storm made a wall next to the platform of ice on both sides to keep them from falling off. The others got onto the ice, the purple unicorn struggling for her footing. “Don’t bother trying to stand. As soon as they start going we won’t be able to stay on our hooves anyway,” Ice Storm told everypony and nodded back towards Rainbow and Luna. The two took off in tandem and in mere minutes they were across the lake. “I must say, I’d much rather not have to get my coat wet in the future, but that was definitely entertaining to say the least. Something that was not only necessary for us to get across the lake, but took some stress off as well,” Rarity stated “I wouldn’t go quite that far,” Luna corrected her. “Right… sorry,” Rarity finished. “Everything from here should be relatively easy until we get to The Eponnine Mountains. If we absolutely have to stop for anything, Fet Loch is just to our northeast. Otherwise, we continue due east.” “Well, the more time we spent stopped the more time we are wasting. I say we keep moving. I’m sure we can make it to the mountains by sundown. They don’t look to be that far away,” Twilight stated. “I agree,” Applejack replied. “The mor’ time we waste her’, ‘en the more time whomever this pony is that’s done this has for whatever it wants.” “What AJ said, I mean really? What fun would any party be if we don’t have all three of the princesses to invite?” “Pinkie Pie… Princess Celestia is in danger, and the only thing you can think about is a party?” Rarity said with disgust. “Oh no, I’m saying that they wouldn’t’ be fun without her presence watching over us. I mean if Celestia didn’t come back then it would be the end of everything that is happiness, and after being without smiles for so long when I grew up…” Pinkie stated, her mane falling straight out of its curls. “I just don’t want to go around being sad again.” Luna looked to the group of mares and was able to muster a small smile. The larges she’d been able to muster since Celestia’s disappearance yes but that wasn’t saying much. “Alright then let’s keep moving.” The rest of the travel through the savannah went without issue. Aside from a few pauses to regain some strength the group of eight mares made it through the vast emptiness to the base of the mountains just as the sun was starting to set. “So, Princess Celestia, according to Shining Armor, is somewhere in these mountains. If I wasn’t so drained I’d say we run in there now and get her out but, I’m too beat for anything right now,” Rainbow Dash commented. “I agree with Rainbow, my hooves are absolutely killing me. I don’t think I’ve ever been on them this long before at one time.” “Aw it ain’ that bad.” “Easy for you to say AJ, you work on and apple orchid,” Rainbow replied. “Let’s just get some rest girls. Bickering about hurting, and about one has it better than another isn’t going to change anything,” Twilight started. “Once we've gotten some rest, we can set out in the morning and we’ll be completely refreshed for whatever we have to face tomorrow rather than trying to do anything without the proper focus.” “Twilight is right. Let us rest,” Luna said as the group settled down for night and preparing for what the morning brought.
  19. Ice Storm waited as Golden fixed the blind fold on her and asked her if it was okay, and Gerty was asking if she could see anything in front of her at all. "Nope everything is all dark, and the blindfold is fine," she commenets as she grabbled one of the tails. Now, just walk forward and pin the tail... for something that sounded so simple it sure made her nervouse. Shje didn't know where the poster was or how good she would do, and considering that she had never done anything at a party before she wanted tomake a good impression. what if she did so bad that she never got invited to a party again? she heard Rarity's encouragement though and Ice stepped forward and pinned the tail into something. She wasn't sure how good she had done, but she walked in the direction that she was told so she coudl only assume that she had placed it on the poster at least, or at least she hoped. She pulled back and reach up to takt the blindfold off. "How did I do?"
  20. Ice Storm smiled back at Fleur after she commented tha she couldn't make out anything that she said because of Iron Will's guitar. Shewas very polite, and she did not disappoint her reputation, at least not yet. She added comedically at the end thaat she might need to get her ears clean after all of that and Ice just nodded with her. "Yeah, I was just saying that I wasn't expecting this to be at a Gala. This may be my first Gala, even after living here in canterlot for so many years, but I'm fairly sure that rock and roll isn't normally on the musical list. Personally, I liked the clasical stuff onthe phonographs better," she commented with a smile. "I'm Ice Storm, I used to attempt living in the nobles district of Canterlot, thiough that proved to be troublesome and I live in ponyville now. It's a lot quieter there," she finished hoping that she wasn't boring the famous actress.
  21. Ice Storm had finally gotten a bit f courage inside of her and decided to go ahead and approach Fleur. After all, she couldn't make any new friends herself if she just stayed in the background all night. "Well that's something you don't see at a gala everyday. At least I wouldn't think. This is my first Gala of any sort, so of course I may just be mistaken," she said aloud next to Fleur, but not directing it to anypony. More or less she was just thinking out loud hope that Fleur would comment on it, as she was still too nervous on the inside to approach any of the well-knowns in Canterlot.
  22. Ice Storm turned to the other pony as he started talking about the games that he sold at his shop. They sounded really fun, and Ice would have been tempted to try one of them if she still lived in Canterlot. She briefly caught him mention that his name was High Roller and he also had mentioned that he hadn't seen her around her either and asked if she was a new arrival. Ice Storm nodded, "Yes actually. I used to live in Canterlot myself, but a large number of the other ponies in the stuck-ups/nobles district and I didn't get along very well. So I abandoned everything I had in Canterlot and moved here only a couple days ago. I was actually living in the park her until earlier this morning when this fine gentlecolt said that I could stay with him at his book shop until I got on my hooves. In return I'm helping him set up and organize his book store so he can get open as soon as possible," she admitted to him. Just even thinking about Canterlot at this point was enough to make her angry inside. She made sure not to show it to everypony there, but the way she got treated in Canterlot made her despise every pony that willingly lived there. This colt here however, at the very least seemed like he was a good person. Perhaps there were a select few in Canterlot that did have the work nice in their vocabulary.
  23. You'd have to wait three. I put that in place so that people that couldn't get on every day didn't get left behind.
  24. hmm... well Apple Bloom is about as hyper as pinkie pie is. if it causes a "huge" issue, then don't worry about it, but keep it in mind of the future. For the other Memebers of the RP who haven't posted yet. The RP is up. http://www.canterlot.com/topic/8627-an-equestrian-emergency-sign-up-only/ I will also PM everyone soon to let everypony know that it's up and if they are still playing.
  25. (OOC: Just so Everypony knows, this was a sign up RP I'll fix the title here in a bit. Everyone taht's posted in the RP is welcome to continue to post, but the all of the Mane 6 have users playing them. So Parrtheus, you will have to edit Twilight out of your post. She already has someone playing her. Also, I wasn't planning on letting humans into this RP as it's based off my fanfic, and I do not have humans in it. See An Equestrian Emergency OOC for details on the plot of the RP. Also please address any questions and concerns in the OOC thread please. You're more than welcome to use Partheus if you'd like, but if you could find a way to shift him to a Pony form, I'd appreciate it. Also, may take a couple more posts before the princesses actually get anywhere other than the palace. so if anypony wants to interact with them. they need to head in that direction.) Luna and Cadence both looked back and forth to each other after the realization hit them both that Celestia had been kidnapped. "What did you do with her..." Cadence stated rudely with a hateful tone. "What!?" "I didn't stutter Luna! What did you do with her! You are the only pony remotely strong enough to make her disappear!" "I didn't touch her! I would never touch her! I..." "You banished her somewhere after you came back from being imprisoned on the moon for a thousand years!" Luna collapsed on the ground shaken by the accusations her niece was making. She though she was responsible for the disappearance of Celestia. She actually thought that Luna would have it in her to do something to willingly hurt her own sister. "You're wrong. A lot more wrong than you know. I love Celestia more than anything, and she was the only thing I thought about for the entire time I was on the moon. Not to mention if it was me, then why would I leave a note asking for surrender Equestria when I am the next in line anyways?" "That's exactly why. You're the next in line! so you never Surrender, make it look like someone else took her, and you get the throne. It's all WAY too convenient." "IT WASN'T ME!!" Luna screamed putting her head under her wing to hide the hurt and frustration. No matter how hard I try, I can't break a way from the sins of my past. If only I could tell everypony the truth and they believe me. That would never happen though. My own niece hates me... therefore everypony must still hate me... Luna thought to herself as the tornado finally dissipated and left Canterlot. She could hear the panic in the streets and at this very moment. She was completely lost on what to do.
