well normally it is described that if you break the visible light spectrum that you go into a "warp drive" or Hyper Space (i prefer warp drive). so, ponies goin into a warp drive? id say one of these:

from the only image ive seen of this occuring with ponies (mlp genesis comic fanfic) which to my utter dismay has been taken down before i could save the picture, I described it with the phrase Quantum Flash Bolt as the flash was so bright (and yellow not rainbow guess i should have told you) that the rest of the sky went black, and there were huge arcs of electricity between the light ring and the ground, instead of a trail of light the pony as imagined was going so fast it appeared to simply appear in its destination instantly...which was the ground, it was soo awesome... except that she died...but she did it to save pony kind so it was not in vain!

(I already have a name for it but im curious as to what others think)

Yeah thanks I get what you're saying. This really all sort of stemmed from when a fellow OC said the phrase "Let me give you a down to Equestria tip." that phrase just kind of bugged me as it seemed like a mouthful when a pony could just say earth instead. It just confused me as to whether Earth was officially considered canon or not.

Just trying to generate some interest for my "Flyers of Excellence" rp. Just want to know if anyone has a talented pegasus OC that would like to be a part of a professional team that my OC Crescent Blaze will be captaining, The AeroBlades. The RP is a tryout thread/ competition to be in the core 4-6 positions of the team. It seems to be a trend on the boards to not use 'Earth' as a term in any sense of the word substituting it with Equestria. It makes sense to me for certain phrases such as "what in all of equestria!" and the like, but even outside of these phrases ponies seem to avoid it like the plague. I'm seriously confused because the ponies in the show have, on more than one occasion, referred to the ground they live on as Earth in both the sense of soil and the actually globe/planet itself. I'll quote Pinkie Pie from the hearth warming eve episode "I've got a news flash for ya cookie. The Earth is round. There is no up or down."

Im just curious as to what others will make of this as I have yet to see anypony of the opinion that it is ok to use this terminology on the rp boards.

I honestly dont give a pile od manure whether all of my friends accept it or not. I have one brony friend IRL and he's the one who converted me. Lucky for him he's uncovered a sound group of bronies in his school (he's still in highschool im in college) not as fortunate for me their seems to be acceptance of my interests at school but not much real interest in the show other than one other person who is still a budding closet brony at most. I'm trying to get him to branch out more into the fandom by drawing him and other closet bronies out by looking at pony pics on my laptop or I'll start watching an episode in the cafeteria and see who comes over to watch with me. At the moment I am preparing to introduce my mom to the show. I just recently told her I watch it and told her the basics of why I do and couldnt have asked for a better result. She said in the most sincere voice "Wow that sounds really cool!" amongst other positive comments. So really I was more concerned with family knowing mostly my sister and my dad. They arent the kind to let me live it down and I have to deal with them on a daily basis, so the grief is best dealt with by being avoided. Friends however I couldnt care less, any good friend of mine anti brony or not isnt going to give me too hard of a time, and when then do start pulling out the anti brony hate I punish them by spamming their facebook with pony pics.

I look at this again and now I see there are a few grammatical errors. Just bold up the labels for the categories, make sure all the line spacing is even, touch up the spelling and grammar (sorry) and this should be ready for final.

I got goosebumps when i saw this thread...and now im already crying just watching these trailers...if this doesnt happen then this is a cruel world for torturing me so.

Crescent turned his attention away from the potential recruit back to Fleetfoot.

"Well we need at least three ponies plus myself to have a workable team, six starting members including myself max for now. So once we have enough participants I'll get the competition underway."

Crescent zipped over to the stands retrieving a small duffle bag and a clip board and returned to the white stallion with the fiery mane.

"If you woudn't mind letting me have your name so I can sign you in. Also there's loaner flight goggles in the bag if you need 'em"

He set the bag down on the clouds in front of him and took up a pen in his mouth while he waited for the stallion's name.
