I'M A TUMBLR ADDICT. I don't have an "Ask ______" tumblr since I can't draw at all. But I DO have http://showglobe.tumblr.com, where I just collect cute gifs and images and post about my OC. It's my own little pony world.

I have a question for all of you bronies. When you see a pony, does a human celebrity counterpart immediately come to mind? For example, whenever I hear Rarity and see her mannerisms, I IMMEDIATELY think of Joan Collins. Do you guys do this? If so, who do you picture as which pony? (And I'm not limiting this to the Mane Six. Any pony is open for interpretation!) I thought this topic was original, but if it's been done before, I apologize for the spam. I'm new. Don't hurt me!

Honestly, I can't believe Pinkie Pie isn't winning. I think she has the cutest mane in all of Equestria. I mean, it's hot pink, looks like cotton candy, and it's so fluffy and curly. And it's always so bouncy! Oh how I love those curls. On a deeper level, I think I like Pinkie's mane because I wish I had curly hair but I have really thin, pin straight hair that severely lacks any sort of body. (So I'm living the dream through Pinkie Pie. That's not weird at all, eh?) What I think is really weird is that Twilight Sparkle is my favorite pony, but out of the mane 6 she has my least favorite mane. I guess I don't see bangs as a good look for her? I'm just not a big fan of her mane. So it's obvious that my mane preferences aren't shaped by which character is my favorite.

I have no visual arts skills whatsoever, so I think what you do is really cool.

About Myself: My name is Victoria. If you want, you can call me Vicky. I live in the United States. This Fall, I'm going to pharmacy school. (Which is why my pony OC is basically one giant shout out to pharmacy!) My favorite thing in the world is theater. I LOVE musicals, especially Jersey Boys and Les Miserables. I like music, too. How I found Canterlot.com: Google is a wonderful invention! How I became a fan of MLP:FiM: So I was tumblin' on tumblr like usual, and I saw all of these pony reaction gifs. And then I saw a meme. And I was all, "What is this, and why is it such a big deal?" And then of course, I see people mentioning My Little Pony, and again, I'm like, "I thought that was like, something from the 80s for kids? Is there something I'm not understanding?" So I go onto Facebook and straight up ask one of my friends, "What is this My Little Pony thing I keep seeing?" She explained the new generation, how Friendship is Magic had such developed characters and pop culture references, and linked me to the first episode. Before I knew it I had watched multiple episodes and was busy cheering on Twilight Sparkle. Because she IS the bestest pony! My favourite main cast pony/s: Twilight Sparkle My favorite pony is Silver Spoon. I think she is underrated and misunderstood. I absolutely love Silver Spoon's design, and I don't think she's a bad pony deep down. It's just that Diamond Tiara is a bad influence! I'd love to know more canon backstory about Silver Spoon in the future, not just more of her being a bully. (And I'm convinced that while it's easy to write off her cutie mark as meaning she's good at being spoiled, there HAS to be more to it. Is she a silversmith? Does she like to eat fancy foods?) When it comes to the mane six, Twilight Sparkle is my favorite because I relate to her personality and interests so much. But I do like Pinkie Pie. I relate to her love of sweets, and I LOVE her curly pink mane. Cutest. Thing. Ever. I also loved when Pinkie said, "Oh no she DI'INT!" while narrating the Running of the Leaves. Eventually I hope to try role playing for the first time, I just have to do my biography/character sheet for my OC. Everything is planned out in my head. It's just the matter of sitting down and WRITING it that's my only obstacle. But luckily I'm off for the summer, so time shouldn't be an issue! It's nice to meet you all!
