1. (Mama knows best! ^^)

To be honest... in the first place, I had never a single problem with the two mares before me, but for some reason, Rainbow Dash shows on the outside a sort of rejection... a barrier between me and making friends with these ponies before me. Though, I do feel offended at the same time, that the pegasus would accuse me of keeping sinister secrets... I may be the bearer of weapons, but never once had I drawn my sword against anypony here! Let alone the fact that I never had a good reason to, even now... though I am hardly afraid of Rainbow Dash. The monsters that cursed my forest look scarier than her without a doubt, and it's most likely this known fact that the only thing she got in return was my serious expression that I seem to shoot back at her for invading my personal space... attempting for a second to pierce her with my blue eyed gaze. I actually had to refrain from challenging this mare to a one-on-one duel; to prove her worth to even ask me anything if she continues to treat me this way... maybe she has a problem with me, well... at least I won't be here long.

"I will assure you right now, I mean you no harm. I have nothing to hide... I just want something to eat. Don't worry; after this, I'll be right back on the road." I point out, mainly to Rainbow Dash with an indifferent disposition. "And this doesn't necessarily have to be an interrogation method as you put it. I'll gladly tell you anything you want to know without resistance."

  2. So, as you guys know, there are still two more important positions left to be filled, and the actual roleplay kicked off not too long ago. You can imagine that there's a sort of pressure at the moment... I know for sure that there is likely to be an event where the other two bearers of the elements Honestly, and Laughter must make their first appearances, and time is running out. If there is no one to take on such roles, then there may come a point where the roleplay may come to a stand-still until these roles are filled. Just throwing that out there... so if you guys know of anyone that might be willing to fill those two positions, then maybe they could play a part in this as well? Provided that they're also into the whole Zelda thing as well. I don't want anyone to feel uncomfortable with the idea or anything...

  3. The idea of a pegasus crashing into a building is strange... but the idea that Rarity even knows that pony in the first place is something else entirely! Even the purple one... well, I'm not sure what shade, since I have not been very specific about colors, so I can only make out her general color. I hadn't even bothered to think twice about the other two mares. Does that make me rude?... I'm uncertain, but with the way the moment is going, I must not have done anything wrong just yet. I can make out at least three words that were out of the ordinary when Rarity had referred to the other two... Rainbow Dash must refer to the rainbow maned and tailed mare, at least that's the only sense I can make of it, and the purple one must be Twilight. Hmph... for some reason, I feel awfully strange hearing the word 'twilight' at the moment.

For the first time in a matter of nearly a minute, I acknowledge the existence of the other two ponies, and what I believe is a baby dragon... wow! I've never seen a dragon of any kind in my whole life, and this one at least isn't dangerous... I am not too confident in the idea of facing a full grown dragon just yet. Would my sword even put a scratch in one?... I wonder, but then realize that once again I'm beginning to wander instead of wonder. With this, I turn my attention to the moment again. "Of course, it's nice to meet you too, Twilight, Spike, Rainbow Dash." I reply, and then start to question the idea of a pony outside of the forest even having the ability to have any sort of documentation on my home land... never once have I ever seen an outsider, let alone anyone studying us, though her further explanation leads me to believe that our kind is featured in some sort of tale... maybe? I decide not to think about it right now, and to keep my mind in the moment... "Yep, this is my first day away from that place, too... but there's no turning back now! In the meantime, feel free to ask away!"

  4. "It's nothing, really." I reply and keep a steady pace along with the pure white female... and I notice right away, that there's a mark on her flank too! ...So does everypony outside of the forest have a mark like that? I look around me once more... and my conclusion is confirmed. Other ponies as well have marks, just like her, yet they're different in look... in her case, three diamonds. I wonder... do I have one by any chance? It hadn't occurred to me until now... I mean, I hardly even think twice about looking behind me unless I'm certain that something or someone is behind me. With a quick glance, I notice... I don't have one. But why?... everypony else does. Well, maybe I'm just different, and besides, a little mark on my flank is hardly the difference between me and the future ahead. My attention immediately redirects to her as I respond to her introduction, "Rarity?... yeah, no kidding!* I mean, er... I'm Link, and, well... I'm just a colt from the Piconi Forest." I reply solemnly, knowing for sure that she's obviously in a better position at the moment, but at least I have a job to do as well!

As we tread on further along the road toward wherever it is she's taking me, my eyes continue to wander in a way that can't really be helped, though as we arrived, my eyes were locked on the inside of what had a very interesting, and wonderful aroma! Hopefully that doesn't add to the food items' price too much... though at least, I've never seen food being priced at a hundred or so rupees, so I should have enough to buy something... hopefully two things. The last thing I want to do is break my promise...

...And my attention is suddenly cut off as Rarity and I have both reacted almost simultaneously. I too have heard the sudden crash... is that normal around here? If so, then I might have to watch my head a little more often if the average pegasus around here is that clumsy! Either that, or... could we be under attack? Is the wicked mare that was described to me already beginning her assault? Tons of questions flood my mind until I rush outside again to assess the situation... my horn glowing with a green aura, and the same kind of said aura surrounds the handle of my sword, just in case I need to pull it out at a moment's notice... until I realize that it's only a single pegasus that crashed into a wall. With a sigh of relief, I disable the telekinetic magic on my sword's handle, and begin to trot back into the bakery...

    ______________

*Referring to the meaning of Rarity's name.

  5. Things seem to be progressing at such an alarming rate... striking probably one of the only fears I've ever had so far, the fear of being able to keep up with the moment! Things were just so much easier before the sudden crisis-to-be just beyond... now things seem to be happening at almost light speed. Maybe even a little beyond! Well... I guess I'll just have to get used to it. If I can act fast during battle, then a simple social situation should be child's play. And the mare's sudden showing of kindness... the fact that she's willing to take even a little time out of her day to help out a stranger; it's remarkable, admirable even. Could I have been wrong about her? With the fact that she could just as easily have left me on my own again... maybe she really is beautiful both outside and inside...

"Oh... sure, if you want to! Thanks a bunch!" I exclaimed with true and vivid excitement, as I manage to get a little carried away and start to gallop... but before I could get beyond five paces, I stop dead in my tracks as I have to remind myself... I'm dealing with a mare, here! Probably a little older than me, too... I have to slow down. Maybe the ponies here just aren't as energetic. Happy, maybe, but maybe not the same drive to want to hop and run around everywhere. "Right... you can even lead the way, too!" I start to calm down reasonably so... keeping a mutual smile as I allow my pace to slow considerably, then finish with a little offer for her trouble, "And since you've been so nice, I'll even buy you something when we get there." I have obtained plenty of rupees at the moment... I should be able to buy her something with no problems! I have at least a hundred that I saved up in the forest! They're all in a little sack wallet that I'm carrying around... along with a saddlebag that makes everything in it feel weightless, and I can fit quite a few things into it. Right now there's a bunch of sticks, Piconi nuts and seeds, a slingshot, and an ocarina! I still have yet to practice with it... and my stock would be even better when I obtain something to eat, I don't even care what it is...

(Gotta have something for my inventory. :P)

  6. The structures' styles are very uniform in a sense, but they're all just... so different, so different from the simple objects chosen to hold business, and even as homes that I'm used to... and for the first time, I actually have something to regret about leaving my home, despite the fact that everypony in the forest practically hates me now... they blame me for the death of our deity... our father. Well... almost everypony, anyway. Yet I still start to miss the bed I would sleep in every night... the stump for a table in the center, the ceramic pots and various containers that lined the edges of my one room treehouse... I'm starting to miss climbing down the ladder of my deck... but before I could let it get to me, I decide to shake it off. I've got a job to do! After the purchase of food for the road ahead, it's straight to Canterlot! I huff a breath, and continue on.

That is... until an imminent collision occurs.

Somehow, I hadn't seen it coming... and was therefore unable to avoid the mare that I had just bumped into. If this were a battle for my life... I could have sustained a major wound, or worse... killed, with a single stroke from my opponent... I have to keep this in mind next time. Though in this case, I suppose I can cut myself some slack. This is a town, after all... I'm sure there are plenty of ponies who forget to look where they're going, but this mare... she kind of caught me off guard. Not that I'm getting any ideas, but a pony with physical beauty such as her's just simply can't go unnoticed! ...Hopefully her character is as glamorous as her looks. Just the fillies back in the forest have given me a good example on the deception of looks... on more than one occasion! There's always the potential that somepony could be a threat at any given time, therefore I can't help but keep a sort of defense up. Any false moves and she might have a little... trouble.. on her hooves. Still, my cheeks manage to burn up a little at the sight of her... I just can't help myself. But I manage to shake it off again, and at least show courtesy to reply to her.

"Oh, that's okay... as a matter of fact, I have! Say, um... I'm sure you're busy, but I was wondering if you could direct me to a place to grab something to eat?"

  7. (Okay, here's our official start, everypony! Best of luck to all!)

The open area that was waiting for me just beyond the edge of my massive forest for a home... it's far beyond everything I could ever imagine of it. I was always told that there would only be monsters and a vile setting... but what I was expecting, was the exact opposite of all the stories told in the Piconi Forest... the soft, plush, green grass beneath my hooves grows freely, and the sky is the most beautiful shade of blue! The clouds are in a perfect arrangement... almost as if somepony had specifically organized them! The sun placed in such a way at this point in time that the sky just looks almost too perfect... as I continue along a trail I've found during my travel. At first... I literally had a running start after first seeing the beautiful field before me, but I then realized that I would need energy as well. Energy for more important things... once all of Equestria is saved, then I can enjoy the grass and the sky all I want! Knowing this, I slowed to a decent trotting speed and continued on my way.

    ...

It had been a few hours since I began my journey... and it clearly began just after I had broken the curse of the Piconi Forest. I'm surely glad I took at least an hour's worth of sleep before setting out on such an adventure. If I hadn't, then I might just feel a little more beat than I do now. I know where I'm going, and I know that the direction I'm heading is north... that is the direction I must go if I am to arrive at this 'Canterlot' that I've heard so much about... though I am a little hungry. Darn... having the Piconi Sword sheathed on my back in case I need to fight, and a wooden shield to defend myself in my possession is one thing... I even brought my wallet with me. But how could I forget to purchase food? One of the most vital things for common survival?...

and this is when fortune smiles upon me...

I spot a small town in the distance... could it be an illusion? I wonder... but either way, I couldn't help but follow my gut feeling, as I speed up into a gallop toward the supposed town in the distance that seemed to be in the right place at the right time... it happens to lie reasonably so along my path. Several minutes pass, and I finally arrive at the very limits of the town... and I can immediately see other ponies, clearly a lot older than a colt like me... thriving in this town! Everything is structurally sound... to put simply, everything is just... happy. Though, I feel so insignificant... look at me, I'm all green in coat, with a slightly messy blonde mane covered by a green cap... my shield on my back probably making me stick out like a sore hoof, not to mention the sword handle protruding from the shield's upper left... nervously, I tread even further, and officially crossing the town's limits. Examining everything with my blue eyes. At this point in time, for something to eat.

  8. Okay, so... I'm a little confounded here. And I apologize for mostly slow replies... I have many more things in life that need doing like chores and hobbies and whatnot. I thought that Fermata wanted to play as two other characters entirely? >.> Though I suppose that covers most of the major roles, but I suppose I can't deny anypony their freedom of choice in any way, so if you really want to be those two instead, then go ahead, but until you confirm it, until you're absolutely sure that you want to be those two(the last thing I want you to have is a chooser's regret), then I'll make the update to the first post for you. ^^

  9. Wow, I was just going to update the first post of the roleplay... but it turns out that I already cast you as Twilight long before! Still, a couple updates shall be made, but unfortunately, all important positions haven't been filled yet... though I'll follow frenzyhero's advice again and just post links between here and the actual roleplay to make jumping back and forth far easier. Also, I'm writing a little pilot story somewhat related to this roleplay. It'll take some time, but it's only covering the events before Link leaves the forest... in the roleplay's case as it is now, as we know, Link has already left, and Ponyville, my intended first stop for him, happens to lie within his path toward Canterlot. It shouldn't be long before I'm finished with this pilot story... I'll most likely post it on Google Docs, and I'll provide a link for it on this thread... hehe... link... anyway, yeah, if you're ever interested when I'm finished, it'll be there for you anytime you wish to read it! ^^

  10. Ah, I see. I guess I must have misinterpreted... sorry. But in a case like that, I surely would have no problem with something like that.

And I never said that Twilight Sparkle wouldn't work, it's just that I don't wish to limit a participant to his/her options as to whom they'd want to be. As long as they can somehow represent one of the elements of harmony, then they'll be accepted as well. If you really want to play as Twilight, then go right ahead! ^^ She bears the element of magic in the story anyhow, but of course, I'll leave it up to you as to whom you would like to play as. After all, there's a position filled already, the element of kindness, that is, and they're going to play as Fluttershy. Just a little example I'd like to throw out there. =)

  11. FermataTheBasse: I've been thinking that over for a good amount of the night, and if the elements are placed that way, then it just might be a lot easier, then I also thought about placing them in similar areas that the temples were found in the game, or maybe... just what locations in Equestria might have characteristics related to [insert element of harmony here]? Even now, I'm still trying to think of something, and so far I've come up with the Element of Magic could obviously be placed somewhere in Canterlot... it just makes sense to me for some reason. I'm definitely working on it! Oh, and as for the two characters thing... I remember you telling me that these 'two characters' are basically one character, but one is the disguised form of Queen Chrysalis, right? So technically, wouldn't you still be playing as one character? In that sense, I'd be just fine with it. ^^

Valencetiger: Link is already the holder of the Triforce of Courage, right? In that sense, I didn't believe it was necessary to add something like that. His own courage is what drives him, and normally in the series, his courage is unmatched, but I guess we'll see during the roleplay, won't we? ^^ And I decided that the Master Sword won't replace the element of magic, that just like one of the Sage medallions, the bearer of that element will be able to help Link by sharing their power with him. And this time, whoever plays a role in which they wish to represent a certain element(Twilight Sparkle doesn't necessarily need to be played to use the element of magic. If your character is skilled superbly in magic, then that OC can be used too), will be viewed inevitably in the future as the Sage of Magic, or the Sage of Loyalty, and etc...

  12. Sorry guys... I know I haven't planned all that much, at least, with the OOC part. I'm kind of a noob to this, so bear with me. >.> But here is what I had in mind...

I wanted to have a roleplay that would resemble both Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time(with some Twilight Princess elements such as Link learning 'hidden skills' which I believe are techniques that any good warrior can come up with... if you think about it, those hidden skills are pretty simple to understand) and My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic. The idea is to try and blend those two worlds and franchises together as one thing. Instead of the land of Hyrule, we have the land of Equestria. I've modified it a little so that the Kokiri Forest, or how it's known in this roleplay as the 'Piconi Forest'(A pony word play on the word 'Picori' from the LoZ game, Minish Cap). Which shares the common elements of the original Kokiri Forest, only it's sealed away very deep within the depths of what is known commonly as the self sustaining Everfree Forest. Link of course, is introduced in this roleplay, along with any other characters that wish to participate; whether you want to be one of the Mane 6, supporting characters, etc, or OC's(There is no application required, so don't feel that you're being pressured for such or anything like that... this is not the Mane RP, so don't worry about the whole app thing). I plan on replacing the medallions you receive when playing Ocarina of Time(the six Sage medallions, of course) with the six elements of harmony. Like the Sages, whoever represents the element of harmony in question will be able to aid Link in his quest by sharing their power with him(As the Sages said they would in the game), except this time, why not change it up a bit and have the good guys travel with Link? That way you guys always have the chance to participate! And... of course, this is being crossed over with My Little Pony, so it would only make sense to add in the part where Link will learn about the magic of friendship as well, right? Maybe even in a similar way that Twilight did... so much to do, no time for friends, etc... And just like the OoT storyline, Link(I decided to play as him since the main protagonist tends to take lots of damage and sometimes goes through many emotional beatings, but that doesn't mean you guys still can't be epic) starts out as a child, or in this case, a little green coated, green cap wearing, blonde maned, blue eyed unicorn colt that carries around a sword and shield on his back with a golden Triforce cutie mark that he'd received after ceasing the curse that was placed upon the deity of the Piconi Forest. Right now, I'm wondering whether to add in the part where we would have to find the three spiritual stones required to open the Temple of Time... it just seems very necessary to me. And yes, I will add in the time travelling bits, you know, when Link pulls or puts back the Master Sword on the Pedestal of Time. Then, after Nightmare Moon(clearly playing the role of Ganondorf) succeeds in shrouding the world with the darkness of night, the now fully grown Link and his friends must find the Elements of Harmony, which are this time hidden away in various parts of Equestria. I plan on making it so that these elements will be found wherever the Mane 6 ponies came from. Though I'll have to catch up on my MLP story... I'm pretty sure Fluttershy and Rainbow Dash are from Cloudsdale, so I'm not sure at the moment how to separate both the Loyalty and Kindness elements... oh, and on top of that, these elements will of course be hidden in dungeons(and if you guys want, we can design our own dungeons filled with monsters to defeat and puzzles for Link and his friends to solve!). The destined bearers of the elements of course will be able to help Link... this time, it won't be just the elements of harmony that will stop Nightmare Moon... this time, action must literally be taken, as in physical combat. Link of course, being the weapon of justice in this whole ordeal. You know... the bearer of the Triforce of Courage, whom in which has the balance of Equestria, and the world, in his hooves.

That's all I can really say about my plans for now. I definitely hope I made it more clear to you all! And any other questions I'll gladly address and answer here! ^^

  13. Hello once again everypony! When we left off, I started a little RP thread not too long ago, and the only posts in it so far are OOC replies, and that's what this thread will be used for from now on, just so we can stay organized and whatnot. So, any outside discussion from our current roleplay that is held here will definitely be appreciated! Also, I'm thinking of adding the nice bit of asking about joining on here as well, so that the roleplay isn't 'interrupted' with a sudden OOC asking to join, so in a sense, this thread can also be a a great little place for heads-up posts. Feel free to post away any OOC in this thread; thanks a bunch!

Thank you, frenzyhero for making the suggestion in the first place. ^^

And here is a quick Link over to the actual roleplay... and enjoy the luxury of fast travel on the internet! :D

  14. UPDATED! 11/29/2012

OOC: Hello once again fillies and gentlecolts, and welcome to yet another roleplay that I'm hoping to kick off soon! Darkness has fallen upon the land of Equestria, and the Elements of Harmony are once again needed to stop the wicked Nightmare Moon from enshrouding not only the entire country, but the entire world in the darkness of night! Except this time... the elements are hidden a little deeper than before. Will the original Mane Six join the ponified Link on his quest to restore world harmony, or will new characters play as the main character's successors? In a world where the Legend of Zelda and My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic mend as one world, the land of Hyrule is replaced with Equestria, and the Sages' medallions are replaced by the Elements of Harmony, which will aid the brave colt on his journey! I'll relieve you guys of some of the tension, and play as the main protagonist... the character that most likely might take the most damage, and go through possible emotional turmoil that's likely to occur... so what do you say? Will you join the young colt Link on his destined path to restore Equestria?(Anatagonist characters are accepted as well. ^^) If so, will you represent one of the elements and awaken in the future as a powerful sage? Or even take the role of the Mane pony that represents their respective element? I will in fact update this post based on who might choose with element...

Unfortunately, all elements are now subject to change. :/

    Honesty:

    Loyalty: FermataTheBasse as Rainbow Dash

    Kindness: hinata2000100 as Fluttershy

    Laughter:

    Generosity: FermataTheBasse as Rarity

    Magic: Valencetiger as Twilight Sparkle

Other Characters: frenzyhero as Nightmare Moon

Kudos to ping111 for helping me with the title! ^^

OOC thread is now open! To jump right to it, just click here

IC: 'Tis truly an incredible event... for the first time since the genesis of all life in Equestria and the world around it, a single pony of the race known as the Piconi emerges from the western border of the Everfree forest. The Piconi of the Everfree are a race of foals born in the deepest depths of the self-preserving woods. So deep into the forest in fact that nopony in Equestria had dared to tread so deeply. The only inhabitants of the Piconi province... are young colts and fillies. And they have been at such an age for their entire lives. Though this one pony in particular was born considerably more recently than the others. He still has at least some Piconi size and appearance at this point in time. Just now, the green coated, blonde maned, blue eyed unicorn had completed an important task for the sake of the entire Everfree forest, for you see... the deity of the forest had been severely cursed by a wicked mare... and this colt was the deity's only hope of breaking the curse. Though he was successful... the Deku Tree, the said deity of the Everfree, had been doomed since the start of the curse. The only good that came out of today, was most likely the things he'd obtained during this task... a small wooden shield covers a portion of his back, along with the sheathe of a small sword, small enough for a colt his age, concealed beneath the tree bark fronted shield. The handle of said sword protruding from the shield's top left. This sword being none other than one of the Everfree forest's ultimate treasures, the Piconi Sword. As of now, he can be seen having a running start in the middle of a path toward his destination... Canterlot. Where he had been instructed to meet and speak with the princess of Equestria. From then on... his quest shall begin, to try and stop an imminent threat at hoof.

  15. Actually, I think it would be quite an interesting thing to add into the storyline, time travel... I mean, if it's based off of OoT, then why not add some features of the game into it as well? Learning songs and whatnot felt like such a nice thing when playing the game... I like to play music in real life, and to play music in a game too? Well, you can say I was more than just happy about that idea. And of course... just when I thought that any parts of the Minish Cap might not fit, I already come up with some ideas as to how it might be possible... this is a story that we can all craft on our own, after all. It doesn't have to strictly be based off of only one of the Zelda games. The very main events are intended to be like Ocarina of Time, but then I wondered how the Minish might be able to play a part in the whole thing... maybe there isn't a known tribe in places like the Everfree forest because you simply can't see them, because they're too small! ^^ Or maybe they're just so far into the forest that most travelers don't dare to tread much further... and maybe the "Piconies"(Pony word play) aren't necessarily so small, maybe they're just like the Kokiri that live and thrive in a forest... and of course, in the game, that's where Link supposedly comes from, and now that I think about it, that sounds like an interesting idea... the Minish could be, or couldn't be a good addition to the roleplay. It all really depends on your personal preference in this case, because I'm not sure how that would fit... and yes, there will be combat in the roleplay. What's a Zelda related anything that doesn't involve physical conflict between the heroes and a bunch of monsters? And now that you mention it... facing the heroes' shadow selves even in a ponification sounds like an interesting idea as well. In that sense, may the best side win! And of course... this is also a crossover of FiM. Make no mistake about that... there wouldn't be any friendship involved if Link didn't have some company during his journey. Again, this doesn't have to be just like an all out Zelda game a total hundred percent. Though of course, Saria never went with Link when he started his adventure... I'm wanting the same to happen in this roleplay, but don't fret! Link still has a chance to make new, and hopefully true, friends in the various parts of Equestria! Also, I plan on adding a few bits from Twilight Princess. Bits such as enemies exploding upon their death... I mean, seriously, when in a Zelda game, or a FiM episode, have you ever seen a dead body lying around? That'd be a little too much... and I think the whole enemies just simply burning to ash is a little too... subtle. In Twilight Princess, I notice that they start to turn black into ash when they die... but just before they fall apart, BOOM! Leaving behind any items they might have. Also, I think it'd be cool if Link could still learn some of the hidden skills from Twilight Princess. Such as the finishing move, back slice, helm splitter, etc... but with Link actually learning these moves himself

as he goes along his huge journey to restoring harmony in Equestria. Good warriors tend to develop their technique as they go, don't they? So it'd make sense if Link were to learn those skills on his own.

The Legend of Celestia: Eternal Night?

I actually had that title in mind... and if another was able to come up with that same title, then I guess it's good. Okay! I'll definitely use that title... I'll be sure to credit you on the opening post. Everything's almost ready! :D

  16. Are you suggesting we ponify the existing LoZ plots, or do we create different plot lines following currently existing LoZ lore that we ponify?

The first stated won't be so much of a good idea, but I'm all for the second. It would go in FiM Free-For-All, correct? No needed applications? Totally for that.

If this becomes a reality, can I be a Zora pony or a Ganondorf pony?

I'm going to try and clarify as much as I can. For one, I don't think it would be very right to try and ponify a Legend of Zelda game entirely... more like giving the land of Equestria a problem that can be solved in the manner that you would in Legend of Zelda. At first, I was thinking about a roleplay being similar to the Minish Cap game, because I noticed that you must acquire elements in order to completely empower the Picori Blade(Which is basically the Master Sword, right?), and since the word 'elements' was involved, I thought that I could somehow relate that to the Elements of Harmony... but last night, I came to the conclusion that this might not work, because in the Minish Cap, there are only four elements... and there are six elements in the show. And these are the elements of the Earth, basically. However, I think the roleplay would be better off if it followed a similar story to Ocarina of Time. Think about it... there are six elements of harmony, and in the second half of the Ocarina of Time storyline, there are six medallions that you must collect in order to be ready to face Ganondorf! And these don't even have to be the same six medallions in this ponification... and of course, remember how you get one of the six medallions right off the bat, and you just need to find five more? Well, in this case... I thought it'd be cool to have the Master Sword be the element of Magic, and then you have to find the other five elements... Laughter, Generosity, Loyalty, Honesty, and Kindness. Most likely not in that respective order... and upon claiming these medallions, the one who represents the values of such elements would awaken as sages! For instance, if someone were to play as Rainbow Dash or Applejack, or some other pony that could represent their elements, they would awaken as the sage of Loyalty or the sage of Honesty! Nightmare Moon in this case, would play the role of Ganondorf, the main antagonist. Celestia basically as Zelda... and I was thinking to do a pony version of Link that's a green unicorn with a blonde mane. Hopefully this all makes sense... and of course, I definitely wouldn't mind if you played any one of those two roles. ^^

  17. Greetings to all!

So, I've been having this one idea coursing through my mind for this past week, and a good week spent with gameplay of a certain game series has greatly inspired the planned founding of a certain roleplay topic... and I looked at the title for the general thread that this lies in, "Questions & Suggestions" and I noticed the second word of the title... which led me to the assumption that this sort of question just might be alright. I know this is a little lengthy... but hey, that's what I want to be known for around here. ^^

Okay, now to cut to the chase... the big idea/question. You might know of the Legend of Zelda games, right? Well, based on that first question, you just might be able to guess where I'm going with this... the series is one made up of roleplaying games, and in fact has certain features that make it an excellent roleplaying experience... I wanted to ponify it! I have the general outlook of a story for Equestria already, but I'm having a little trouble with the title... I was wondering if you guys had any suggestions? I've only managed to get down only one half of the title, but of course, the entire title can also be changed if you have something better! And here is the first half of the title:

The Legend of Celestia: [This is the missing half] <---- I seem to be having trouble with this part.

Now here's the general outlook of the story I have in mind... it's an alternative to the beginning of the first season of My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic. Where this time, the Elements of Harmony have been hidden away in various areas of Equestria. As we know, there are six elements that must be obtained to put an end to Nightmare Moon's eternal darkness(I was thinking of a possibility of the element of Magic to be the equivalent of the Master Sword). And the heroes must obtain the elements from dungeons and so on and so forth. I even have an idea of designing the dungeons that could relate to the element in question... maybe even new kinds of bosses. So what do you guys think? Any ideas as to what a good title for this roleplay might be? All feedback will be accepted and appreciated! :D

  18. The pony seems to eye the two without a care in the world... even to an unusually casual pony like him, he seems to be intrigued by the appearances of both mares before him. Though not so much physically attracted, in fact, not at all! He gets the feeling that these two are pretty dangerous... one of them has a pistol.... IT'S SO COOL!!! Even if his fists may be better than a mere pistol, it's even better that this mare doesn't just talk when it comes to guns... it takes guts to actually use it. Guns are meant for action, not to just taunt or strike fear. Guns are meant to kill, and if you're not willing to kill another with one, then a pony doesn't even deserve to own a gun. At least... that's what a famous pirate had once told him.

"I think I heard it come from here!" a sudden voice is heard... clearly, those two idiots were not alone in their search for valuables wherever it is they trot or sail. Given the situation... and despite his naive nature, this pony knows exactly when it's time to fight. Pirates are normally the worst to come across... most of them make this pony very sick. They're selfish... they'd give up even their friends to have what they want, and if there's one thing that really ticks off the young straw hat pony, it's lack of loyalty to friends.

"Hehe... perfect! Looks like we're all going to have our share of fun!" clearly, the lack of manners in this case seems not to occur to him, let alone the fact that he seems completely unoffended by the lack of introductions. After all, he never really asked for their names, and it is the very same the other way around. He gets up off of his flank, and stands ready to face more nasty pirates... a perfect morning warmup for this young one!

  19. (Don't worry about Allanon. We can still craft this story the way we see fit. ^^)

Even he can't help but admit that he was surprised by the stranger's sudden and aggressive actions. Usually he might expect someone like him to be a bit more humble no matter what the situation... then again, not everyone who encounters such a vast yet horrid ocean of buildings at the bottom of the ocean itself can really be anticipated as a cool-headed hero. Even Star has experienced moments of extreme aggression, so he is clearly not the only one... and something about this city gives him the feeling that it will somehow make him more mad than he is now...

At the sound of what he could make out as a... little girl's subtle self-laughter, the black suited pony goes into a sort of defensive state... though he doesn't look it, especially since his expression is impossible to witness because of his helmet's outer surface opacity. One may not be able to see him... but he can surely see others quite clearly. He lets out a soft sigh, and continues to remain calm, especially around a stranger... in a city like this, he can already tell that even a completely sane pony might think he's being attacked because of any sudden movements by any stranger around him.

"Proceed with caution..." he advises the other, as he moves at a steady pace just behind as well as keeping a safe distance from him... planning to cover the other pony in case there's actually a 'baddie' down the tunnel... but would he really have to kill a little one?... now he knows for sure... he won't come out of this city completely sane.

  20. The black pony seems to be very amused by this whole ordeal... smiling slightly from beneath his helmet. At least he wouldn't be able to see his current facial expression. He raises a hoof to reassure the other that he means him no harm... now just to convince him through simple terms.

"Don't worry yourself. I promise you, I mean no harm. Of course... I think you could tell that anyway, right? I mean, I haven't tried to kill you, have I? Plus, one can't disregard the fact that I'm able to speak in complete sentences without sounding like a total fool, especially since the last one you fought seemed to say things completely out of context, let alone connection between every phrase. Like you, I stumbled upon this city myself... not what I was expecting, either. In fact, it looks like a total trash heap from up close, wouldn't you agree? Now..." he begins a slight pace around the room, clearly in a thinking state... "How to get through that door..."

  21. The stallion seems to have the hugest smile on his face as he sleeps. His snores nice and audible at this point... His coat manifesting a pale yellow color, and his mane being covered for the most part, by a straw hat on his head with a red band. The pony looks very young, but not exactly a little colt. His mane hidden beneath his hat seeming to be completely black, not to mention messy. The same can be said for his black tail, and he wears a red, yellow buttoned vest that is in fact buttoned up... then his snores seem to cease, and the stallion stretches a little bit... though not enough to reveal his devil fruit powers. His eyes slowly open... "Good morning... hm?" the young one seems to ask himself, as he surveys the area with a smile on his face. "Say... what happened here?"(Why red text? Because of his vest, and the red band in his straw hat... plus, yellow text is hard to read with a white background. >.>)

  22. Quite strange indeed... he would have thought that the stranger would have at least been out for more than just a minute or two, but it looks like now would be a good time to introduce himself... though how he'll convince the other that he's of no threat might not be as easy of a feat as it seems. With what this stranger on the radio has been saying to him, he might just try and kill Star along with the other guy with a messed up face. He sure wasn't a pretty sight, that's for sure... but maybe the fact that he doesn't look messed up at all right now that might be a convincing factor for the one he wishes to help out. If they're both going to be trapped here... there's no point in being alone in all this.

Trying to be as quiet as possible... he uses the other's surprise in his own appearance to further his tread in enhanced silence, the other's shouting making his hoofsteps quiet as a mouse. Star sits himself at the door of this room in which they both came, figuring that now might be a good time to reveal himself... "Hmph... isn't that strange? Be careful you don't shoot your eye out, kid." a voice could suddenly be heard from behind. One with a slight humorous tone to it at the moment.

  23. (Don't be sorry, it's quite alright. ^^ Patience tends to pay off, you know. :))

The flintlock pistol, and even the second threat for violence didn't seem to hold these pirates back. They just kept inching closer and closer to, not the two ponies, but the barrel.

"Aw, come on now... don't be like that." the pony on the left said, smiling a little wickedly as he says so.

"Yeah... we just wanna know what's in the barrel. Just step aside, and you won't get hurt."
