Ha, HFS means "hidden fun stuff" for me, that's the spoiler tag for when you reach hell in one of my videogames. What's the real name for that spider ? Is it really "happy face spider" ? And oddly enough, what I find most interesting is not the happy face (that's just human imagination ...) but the fact that it looks vaguely transparent. Cool.

Heh, my songs rarely speak to me. Usually they sing. ... Aaanyways. I rarely have songs that speak to me. Most of the time, I listened to them during a certain moment, and listening to them once again reminds me of that time. Plus, lyrics rarely form an interesting whole - it's more like a chaotic mess of ideas that you have to dig through to find interesting gems. It's true as well for the music part of the music, to a lesser extent. Still, there's a few I like for what they are, like this one. Slow Cheetah.

We got rain and hail here, and a few trees fell, but I don't know if it was part of a bigger storm or anything. Or even if the region around Augusta, GA is affected by coastal weather (it does seems a bit far, but I must not assume anything, after all). I've only been here since a few months ago. And lightning ! I love lightning. We had some impressive thunder here.

I'll speak latin fluently. I'll go sightseeing and exploring, I'll see history unfold in live, and I'll collect lost books and works of literature and art. My time machine will be a museum of its own. And if I can, I'll meet Jesus

Bugs have some pretty creepy habits like this sometimes ! There's even worse ones out there !

Eeeh, I'd be delighted to find another me. It means we'd have the same goals and all, which means, for all purposes of practicality, that we could both rent a house and keep the cost low ! Plus, since I'm lazy but sorta good at motivating others, we might end up being both more productive. I know it's the thing I'd do, push the other me to actually do things. Evil me would probably end up with one of us being dead, probably me, because I don't tend to start fights. And a r63 of me ... I'd be jealous ! And then we would spend all our money on shopping or whatever. Dating would be weird though. Probably.

That wasp sure is scary. It must not be fun to be a bug. So many ways to die while being eaten from the inside ...

Rest in peace, saucy. And I loved that update on ant herders ! I had a video game about ants once upon a time, where you would build an ant colony. It was awesome. You would dig tunnels, make specialised rooms, gather resources, protect your workers from big bugs with your ant army, and then conquer the world or something. I wish I could find it again.

It did happen to me ! During my vacations in Algeria (to see my girlfriend) water was cut off - frequently, but not as frequently as before for them. The cuts I experienced never lasted more than a few days. Still, they were prepared. We lived off reserves they made. It did meant no shower and all ... but I wasn't one to complain. :3 It was an interesting experience. Four days on two pans of water is extreme though. No buckets filled with water and covered ? No bottles no nothing ? Harsh. I hope it doesn't happen to you again ! I have lived without electricity as well. This is an interesting experience too - the night is really really dark, and candlelight sucks. Plus, no fridge.

I like the house centipede ! Though I wonder, if you see one in your basement, doesn't it mean you have a pest problem, then ? The centipede population in your basement will never eat all the cockroaches/ants/whatever on their own after all. You also live in Canada. I wonder if it's really true (maybe Stonetribe might tell us) but in my experience, the colder and/or dryer the climate, the less bugs you'll find, and the smaller they are. I've never seen big bugs in France. But in Los Angeles I have seen a few giant cockroaches (giant for me at least) and here in Georgia I'm in the countryside, so I can see magnificent moths from time to time (along with big spiders and stuff - including a strange, freaky, huge bronze fly with big green eyes).

Three pages since I last visited ? Wow ! And thank you Stonetribe ! You're really awesome. I could listen to you (or read you) ramble about bugs for hours.

Heh, that water bug is creepy. Now I want to find one in real life With all the requests everybody made, can I request something on moths ? They're the prettiest insects of the world, in my opinion.

Pictures ! I want to see what your spider looks like. How do fishing spiders usually eat their preys ? The many ways bugs and the like devour each other fascinates me for some reason.

I mostly just read. Everything. From poetry to history courses. I also read fanfiction (a lot of fanfiction) but that fall into "ponies" so that doesn't count. I write a little, mostly poetry. I'm trying to write more. And to draw too. I also have a job in a restaurant, in which I do not work as much as I want to. And when I was in Paris, I used to go outside and walk, and take pictures, and visit museums. (The Louvre was fantastic for that. It was so huge, I could always get inside and find a bunch of new rooms I had never seen before).

Yay ! Another post by you ! This thing is huge ! It must be something to live in the most tropical regions of the world.

We have a thread about equestrian technology, I think. What strikes me the most is their kitchens. They're very, very modern. I'd have to rewatch the episode with the cupcakes song, but I'm pretty sure Pinkie have all the modern conveniences like fridges and stoves. The biggest problem I would see isn't the monsters, the lack of women ( ... ) or the food - you can live on a vegetarian diet, monsters seem to be limited to remote locations (and Ponyville is actually quite close to the Everfree, really) so I guess you could live all your life in safer parts of Equestria without ever having to worry about it (or go live in Australia for a few months before moving to Equestria ). The biggest problem I see is being a biped in a world populated with races who have a very different morphology. Will you find a bed that fits you ? We have no idea what's the size of a pony compared to a human's. Will you bump your head on every doorframe, like Gandalf visiting hobbits ? How many things would you have to custom-build to suit you, and how much money will it cost ? And, most importantly, will the doctors be able to heal you, should something serious happen to your health ? There's a lot of stuff that look awkward for ponies and better suited for humans though. So maybe you'll fit in fine, with only annoying details popping in here and there.

Are the Conversion Bureaus "human in Equestria" fics ? Or a genre on their own ? I love those. Anyways, it depends on how good the writer is. I've seen some interesting self-insert human in Equestria stories, a bunch of strange ideas, and a few HiE fics I really really like (Article II comes to mind). And a number of terrible ones. The type of the story never tell anything about its quality, and it's the quality that count in the end.

Then go ahead ? I never saw the show, but I like the premise ! If you write it, then I'll read it !
