1. Indie nodded his approval. He was a little surprised she hadnt been offended by him calling her loud. He was glad though, he didnt want to upset the pony. He caught the fork in his teeth as she released her magic hold, and set it back to the plate. "My name's Indie," He said, glad to get that outta the way, "Indie Tune. Its good to meet you." He continued eating as he spoke, though more slowly, and in noticeably smaller portions. "You said that you are a minor, shouldn't you be with your parents or something? Or in school?" He didn't know exactly what time it was, but it wasnt so late school was definitely out.
2. "What does that have to do with sharing some of this delicious tart?" He asked quizzically, though he knew full well what she was implying. The thought raised his brow, and further held his smirk in place. What would Jonesie say if she saw him bringing a new pony to their home, especially one so... loud. She took her seat, and brought out her muffin. Indie began to assume she was intent to deny the upheld bite of tart until the fork was slipped from his grip by her levitation. It startled him, he guessed that was her motive and quickly brushed it off at the question that followed. His expression flew to a serious calm. "You'll have to forgive me, i didn't mean to be rude or impolite. I tend to be off-put by new ponies and loud noises, and you fit both those criteria through the door," He chuckled, and held a slight smile, though kept his calm aura, "However, it is my belief that everpony should do what is best for themselves and their surroundings anytime possible, and it would be a crime to ponykind if you were never given the opportunity to taste this dish, as well as if i passed up the opportunity to make a new friend."
3. "Very welcome," He sang. Swapping for the knife again he repeated his previous procedure, this time without the showy toss. He wasn't entirely sure he could do it again, and would hate to waste any of his tart. His mood was improved at seeing the built confidence of the baker. Indie noticed the glance thrown by the newer guest in the bakery. After a moment he asked, "Would you like a taste? It's very good." He pushed a chair away from the table and nodded for her to sit. A curious expression masked him as a grin lit his eyes. Cutting another piece from the tart and lifting it with the fork he raised it temptingly towards the unicorn.
4. Noticing how busy the worker was, he questioned whether he could use a hand. Surely with pastries as good as the one he was eating he made enough money to hire some help. Taking the knife in his jaw he sliced easily into the tart, making a sixth of it into a v-shaped separation. Laying down the knife he picked up the fork. Easily wedging the points of the fork behind the cut piece laying the handle over the plate, Indie made a sort of lever. He raised the tart slice by applying pressure to the overlapped end and took a bite. His expression leaped into joy. Flavors danced on his tongue. A moment passed before he took another bite. Unconsciously listening to the two other ponies discussing prices he jumped in, “If those are anything close to the quality of my purchase, it's worth every peice." The grin that had first dominated his appearance soon receded to be taken place by red. His white coat and red mane did absolutely nothing to hide his blush. He rarely ever spoke so freely, especially to ponies he didn’t know. This tart was magic. He quickly threw his hoof onto the forks end a second time, launching the remaining half slice into the air. He slightly leaned back to smoothly catch the bite in his mouth. He always did enjoy playing with his food.
5. Indie slid from his reclined position to an upright stance to receive the aromatic bag. "Have seven for the trouble," He spoke as he handed the coins to the baker. Gripping the fresh treasure in his teeth, he mumbled a low, "Thank you," and began heading for the door. Before he could reach the halfway mark his stomach roared, mimicking an angry bear. Stopping, slightly embarrassed by the draw of attention, he decided it would be best to eat here than to make the long walk home on an empty stomach. Besides, he'd hate for these fresh goods to be chilled when he finally sunk his teeth in. Smoothly turning on his step he shuffled back to his original seat by the window and opened the bag. The fragrance following was that of imagination. Carefully, and precisely, he lifted the tart from the bag and set it to the table. It was beautiful. Merely the scent of this new-found delicacy threw Indie into a trance, and the appearance was so appetizing he almost feared he might not be able to eat. Though not quite. He almost dug in face first if it hadn't been for the sudden realization that there were other ponies about. Blushing, he asked, "Um... Could i borrow some silverware?"
6. Indie had seen the mare coming, and noticed when she started into the bakery, otherwise he would've jumped at her abrupt appearance. He grimaced when she shouted her question. He had never enjoyed ponies who could so easily break a pleasant silence, such as the one she had just shattered. He felt himself already growing annoyed of this pony. He shifted in his seat, positioning himself further towards the window.
7. "Alright," He chuckled, as the stallion trotted to the back of the store. Indie took a closer look at the pile of papers now strewn about the counter. He had never been one to read these things, but he'd give it a try. "thanks," he said behind the newspaper, looking for something interesting besides the comics. "Oh, um, just one i guess. Jones doesn't like cooked things." He joked to himself and trotted to one of the nearby seats and relaxed, losing himself in thought. he started to hum a tune look about the store. He never was any good at small talk, so he kept his mouth shut until someone spoke to him.
8. Indie brought a hoof to his chin, pondering what he might try for his lunch. "How about a tart?" he asked the baker, " and, how long might that take to cook?" Not that he had anywhere to be. he was just curious. He reached for his coin purse he had tied around his neck. "oh, and how much do i owe you?" he started to feel like a bother, asking so many questions.
9. Seeing somepony in the shop put Indie at ease. He hoped he hadn't bothered the baker pony, but then, the shop door was open. Glancing about the display of treats and otherwise appetizing creations, a craving sprung from the depths of his memory. He trotted closer to the counter. "Do you have anything peach flavored?" he asked. a curiosity and want glimpsed in his eyes, "Oh, or maybe grapefruit? I know it's an odd request, but i have odd tastes." He gave a chuckle, realizing how strange he must sound, asking for a grapefruit muffin. Who's ever heard of a grapefruit muffin, he thought.

12. Indie Tune gingerly opened the door, stepping into the bakery. He wasn't sure they were open, and he wasn't aware of their hours, as he had only been a few times. Seeing nopony, he started to leave, but heard voices from above and called out with an unsure, "Hello?" Hopefully it was loud enough for the baker to hear.

14. well, i do like the song, it's well composed, the singing is very good, and you hit the genre spot on, however i will say you need to watch the lows on your piano. i think if you came up an octave with a quarter low harmony it would sound amazing. also not electronic drums would be nice, but i understand drums are expensive, and definitely a hastle to record. so all in all, i'd say this is a success. side note, steady rhythm guitar throughout the song would've probably given it a fuller sound, instead of just the one part for the solo. p.s. what mic you use to record your singing?

this is Indie's awesome watermill home. indie and jones sold seperately. i hate drawing landscape art, but ponies made it okay ^^

16. is this an rp, ora fic or what? The landscape artwork is superb. very well done, if it was yours. as for the ponies, the anatomy all looks good, and your shading is good, but you could probably add some highlight here and there. all in all the style is unique, and well executed. the characters seem distinct from one another(and there aren't any alicorns. On a side note, i find your lack of unicorns... disturbing.
17. I just went Super Saiyan!(too much?) Thank you! :D so how do i start RPing? o.o
18. http://soundcloud.com/jared-pendergrass/butterflies-roughcut Like it says in the title, it is a roughcut. absolutely 0 mastering was done and it was all done in one run using nothing but my guitar, an effects pedal, and an amp. didnt even have a mic for my voice. eventually when i get the money i'll record everything near crappy studio quality, but until then, here ya have it. what i said in the beginning, in case you couldn't understand me: "hey guys, this is Indie Tune. I'm gonna play y'all a quick song off of my upcoming mane six EP. The song is called Butterflies, and i hope you guys like it. I apologize in advance for the low quality of the recording, but i'm having to use my laptop microphone. You'll just have to bear with me. Sorry." and the lyrics(i probably didn't follow them to a tee, but this is what they're supposed to be): I'd try to relate, but the fact of the matter, we're just not the same. You were never the one to blame, but you got the rough end all the same. (chorus) All these butterflies, they're all in my mind? Your eyes are painted to match the sky. So tell me why, why... (endChorus) I know it's a fictitious dream, but i'd give hope just because it seems you and me, our qualities might be just a little redeeming. (chorus) Why ca't i be gentle? Why can't i be kind? When i belive, it's exactly what this world needs I will be gentle, i will be kind because i believe that's exactly what we need.
