Discord's Everfree Adventure Be sure to keep to the path dimly lit by the luminary bags. If you stay in the light, none of the forest creatures will harm you. On the night when you should most fear the Everfree Forest, a spell will keep you safe—so long as you keep to the path ahead! However, you may still catch a glimpse of a Manticore, or perhaps somepony bold enough to leave the trail may leap out of the trees and scare you! Whatever the case, there is no going back—as another spell darkens the path behind you, forcing you to follow the light ahead. But the further you walk, the further you feel you are going into Everfree. To travel back, you must reach the end!

Celestia's House of Mirrors You suspect the only reason Celestia volunteered to run the House of Mirrors was so that she could admire her own wings—but you'd never say it aloud. Still, it's a rather fun attraction, even if—oof—you find it difficult not to run into somepony. Or, was that just your reflection you bumped into? At any rate, it's fun for awhile, but you seem to be lost...

Pinkie Pie's Hilarious Haunted House of Horrors You know that Pinkie Pie always has the best—and also scariest haunted house in Equestria on Nightmare Night. Pinkie loves to pull pranks, ALMOST as much as she likes throwing parties. What better way to combine the two than on Nightmare Night? Against your better judgment, you step inside. Every year, Pinkie's haunted house gets worse, more scary than the year before. It's something Pinkie enjoys immensely, and she goes all out, preparing for weeks on end. Pinkie Pie has even roped some of her friends into dressing up as horrible creatures, ready to jump out and scare anypony who might chance by!

Nightmare Moon's Monument As you near the edge of the festival grounds, you see a long shadow seeming to seep out of the Everfree Forest. However, upon closer inspection, you see that it is just a statue of Nightmare Moon. You approach, and notice an inscription: You dare to seek out Nightmare Moon? Then prepare to meet your doom! For foals she finds a special treat- unless you leave her something sweet! You think it might be wise to place a few hoof-fulls of candy below the statue, as customary tribute to the mythical mare.

Another user has expressed this, it could be that paypal is taking a while to send the data here, or it could be on our end. As long as you keep your reciept, we can track where the money is, and it will certainly be fixed! We havnt installed any recent updates to the site, but sometimes modules (such as our donation one) can become incompatible and wont show properly. I dont believe this is the case, but even if it is, its something that can easily be remedied. Thanks for being patient you guys, and sorry for the inconvienence!

Okay—so I fibbed about getting them up on time! I've been *very* ill these past few days, and have simply not been up to taking care of anything outside of making tea and drinking it—and even that was a struggle. Then, I was sent off to give multiple presentations to all of the managers in my region (couldn’t pass up that opportunity, sick as I was!), which was rather intense and stressful! To say that RL has been busy really doesn’t cut it—I’m lucky if I get to see my fiancé every few nights at this rate! But! Through clouds of cough-drop wrappers, forests of tissue, and mountains of work, I managed to take pictures of all the prizes that have arrived at my mailbox! Delivered by Derpy herself! Hey everypony! I have been recieving a lot of mail lately! Donations to be exact! How many donations? Well, I can cover my queen size bed with them! And guess what? I'm giving them all away! As many of you have noticed, we have a few contest going on right now! please include all information possible such as which album your uploading to, what the parent album is, and anything else that might help us look into the problem- a lot of the information on your end is easy to overlook because its right there- but without some guidelines im not sure where to start looking! ~Pumpkin Patch~ The Harvest Spook-Tacular takes place right beside Fillydelphia's pumpkin patch- One of the biggest attractions for ponies are to come by and select pumpkins to take home and make all sorts of sweets and foods out of. Each year, some of the nearby farmers are generous enough to donate pumpkins for the Pumpkin Carving area- foals can often be found here carving with their families, or romping around the patch, hiding behind pumpkins bigger than themselves! It also looks like this year a few other types of squash have been left for those who want to mix things up a bit! Show off your skills, and just have fun! Be careful not to stray out too late into the darkness of the pumpkin patch without somepony nearby- the patch goes on almost as far as Sweet Apple Acres- and its said in hushed whispers that the headless horse once haunted these very fields! Scarecrow Corner is also a place where you can let your creative freedom roam, using the many buttons, loose hay, string, beads, plastic jewels, and whatever else you can find along the long isles of material, to make a work of art! There are also coloring pages for the younger foals here- and a teacher or two may be spotted with her class on an evening field-trip from a nearby town. Show off your artistic style to everypony, or even make a few bits! Perhaps you will find something rare and spooky in the booths that many ponies are selling their wares at... ~Haunted House~ If you thought the Corn Maze was scary, wait until you get to the Haunted House! A grand home and accompanying barn stand at the far end of the harvest festival. Rickity, dark and gloomy, the small mansion-sized home can fit many many ponies inside- and still allow them to get seperated and lost in the winding interiors! How can something be so much bigger on the inside than it looks on the outside?! Hello? Anypony theeeeere? Rainbow? Applejack? ...T-Twi? (squeak!) Who knows what you will find inside! Ghost, Ghouls, and Goblins, oh my! There are ponies in scary costumes running about, fake lightning going off, and creepy sounds! There are also a few mischievous ponies that are NOT part of the attraction, just waiting for somepony to scare. Keep your wits about you, and maybe consider taking a friend to hold on to! ~The Corn Maze~ Don't get lost! The corn maze is full of twists and turns and dead ends. If you get lost, you could be stuck in here for a long while! Although, being lost with somepony special might not be all that bad... However, as the night grows darker, the maze gets spookier, as the moon becomes the only thing to light your way through the dark maze. Some ponies are liable to play pranks and send you in the wrong direction, or jump out and scare you! Watch out! ~The Gazebo~ A beautiful gazebo rises from the edge of the throng of ponies and booths, garnished and dressed in the golds reds, purples and browns of autumn. Fabrics of fabulous quality hang with the leaves and trimmings of the season's trees- nuts, corns and all sorts of harvest treats have found a second use- prepared as decoration around the large structure. It is so wonderfully trussed that a pony might think Rarity herself had traveled from Ponyville to have a hoof in decorating it herself! Despite all the nearby bustle of the festival, the gazebo is a more romantic and enclosed area away from the main dance floor where couples can come to dance in a more secluded spot. The dance floor is full of ponies grooving and moving, but the Gazebo is a place where you can take things down a notch and spend time with that special somepony. Welcome to the Festival Grounds! The Harvest Spook-Tacular is a harvest festival that takes place annually in Fillydelphia! It is traditionally an evening lunar festival that runs for four weeks in celebration of the harvest season! Originally just a harvest festival, legends and stories of the mysteriously spooky and frightening Nightmare Night, which occurs during the peak of every harvest festival, has over the years shaped the event into the costume-filled and mischeviously playful Harvest Spook-Tacular! Here at the festival grounds in Fillydelphia, everypony is bustling around, coming and going! You can smell the cotton candy and popcorn from the vendors in the air. There are carnival games all around, as well as a puppet show, a fortune teller, a magic show, and just about anything imaginable! Everypony has come out to celebrate the Fall Harvest, and take a break from working to enjoy the evening with family and friends. The festival stretches out before you- where will you go first? Its pretty much a fan-fiction of your design- who or what involved is up to you as long as it takes place in the MLP:FiM universe. It should have *something* to do with the harvest season, The Harvest Spook-tacular festival, or Nightmare Night. Rather, the guidelines are very open for a contest like this. Perhaps you wanted to do a story about AJ's past in preperation for the harvest festival, perhaps you want to write about Twilight's first nightmare night in ponyville- perhaps you want to write about the CMC venturing into the everfree forest to search for ghosts- its really open to you guys and I want to see what creativity you come up with. You can also make a story about OC's, thats completely up to you guys. As for a real length, I was originally going to leave it fairly open-ended, but since there seems to be a bit of concern over it I'll talk with Tales and my staff to see if we can find an appropriate cap. For the sake of clarification- flash fiction, short stories, and typical 'fictions' are all welcome. Length does not equate to quality story-telling; so do not feel pressured that you must have the longest story. Focus on the elements of good story telling, and base your story and its length around that. After all- pony episodes are only 30 minutes long- and yet they tell great stories that we've all come to endear. Length isnt everything, so dont make that your primary concern.

You can enter every single contest if you like, with as many submissions as you like. If you divide your time, its less time per piece, and that is as much of an equalizer as is really possible. so, yes :3

There is no maximum per se- but try to keep it within the realm of reason >.>; lets say, if it ends up much longer than an average fan fiction, or your goin on 15-20 pages in word and have no dialogue, send me a PM ;3;

The contests and events *start* tomorrow- everyone just had a week to think about what they'd like to do *for* the contests :'3 so dont fret, you've got plenty of time! At least 3 weeks still for the art and writing contests (we just arent accepting submissions until tomorrow- because thats my day off and I can launch everything we've prepared, and troubleshoot it all tomorrow if needed). The Harvest festival RP will last three weeks, and the Nightmare Night trick or treat event will last for one week over the top of halloween. I'll have dates and lots more information for everyone after work tonight!
