  1. Hello and welcome! I trust you'll have a good time here, everypony is very generous and worth their weight in bits. Question though! Just how do you pronounce your name phonetically?
  2. Now thats an introduction. I already know more about you than my neighbors across the street. Good show!

    I miss fruit.

In chocolate pudding? Well I never... now i'm going to have to try it. But honestly- one of the best things i've ever had are some pear halves sliced a few times, cottage cheese, and yogurt of choice. It is the healthiest, most wonderfully sweet delicious desert ever. Its pretty amazing.

    I miss fruit.

I like all fruit- especially pineapple. The only one I dont like as much are apples; I enjoy the taste, love the juice, and I can eat them sliced, and occasionally, very occasionally, whole. But they usually give me a stomach ache :\
  7. This is more agreeable; but the opening of the show still shows both Celestia and Luna appearing as closer to adults- but perhaps thats just the 'lore' in Twilights book. That would seem to be an explanation that works
  8. I'm not entirely sold that evidence of them reversing in age is evidence that theyve aged- for all anyone knows their appearance could be a representation of how much power they currently hold. If Luna was stripped of some power, or partially sealed, then that would explain her regression in appearance of age. Perhaps I'm assuming too much, but when I think of Celestia and Luna, I have the impression that they are nearly the same age- just Luna was born second. Like twins, so to speak. If they had dual responsibility to raise the sun and moon, wouldn't they both have to be relatively the same age to start trading cycles? I suppose its possible if Luna and Celestia inherited their abilities.
  9. Oh I loved that game for everything
  10. Looks like he could be the child of flutterxdash, the way he's quaking in that picture, and the big green eyes xD
  11. I dont understand why, but its getting better as I listen to it. I was like "not sure if want..." but then I serious'd up and now i'm like "WANT."
  12. This is the feeling I get from the series, that they are likely the last of their kind, or at least even the royals of their own sub-species (which, its pretty clear that they are.) Perhaps other alicorns are fading away, or becoming unstable for whatever reason- and thus a thousand years ago Celestia and Luna (pre-argument) decided that the land that was suffering without the benefits of the other alicorns needed to be monitored, and they established Canterlot, and taught the pony sub-species how to tend to the land on their own (in the stead of the dwindling alicorn presence). This, is better than any reasoning/idea I could come up with; it lends a mortality to Celestia and Luna; some type of limit to their abilities and lifespan. They have to either shoulder the burden of their celestial and lunar responsibilities; or give them up to live a different life (to have a family, or whatnot), they have to shrug off that longevity, and produce some type of heir to their position.
  13. I really like the potential of that idea. Sort of an elder-equine/pony concept that there may be one for seasons, life, death, or elements. However, that immediately makes me wonder if some of them are no longer present or alive, or have abandoned their duties, or any other reason, as the ponies of ponyville are needed to change the weather cycles and seasons. Though, with evidence such as the everfree forest, perhaps other Aliponies control everything outside that sphere of non-influence. Sadly, yes. I don't expect most of my questions to ever be answered, and even fewer of those to be answered in a manner that I would like. But, Faust has surprised me consistently- so I'll hold hope that even better things are yet to come.
  14. Nah! Trust me, i'm only a few years off and I dont feel weird about it. Hang on to the things you love, and dont sell out!
  15. Put myself down for one more lady-pony
  16. You are 20% cooler for this. I loved that game soooooooooo much. "Touch Fuzzy get dizzy!" Exciting to hear that you've had your hoof in making games before, when you get your sig up i'll certainly go take a look.
  17. I wonder about this too, I'd really like to know whether or not being an Alipony/corn/unisus like Luna/Celestia is hereditary to the royal line, or if it is somehow a status that can be inherited by successors. Granted, if Celestia and Luna have been around for 1000 years, and dont really show any sign of aging in either of their cases, that beats out the notion that they would need successors at all; but doesn't mean that they couldn't choose successors for if and when they do become tired of their respective responsibilities. I think I prefer this idea, as I'm a sucker for princess Twilight, and to me would offer more potential depth to the world rather than Luna/Celestia forever and always being alive. Actually, now that I think about that, Celestia's lot has got to be a bit saddening; as it seems to be fairly established that other ponies do not live that long.
  18. I suppose its like this: If i make a character that is eccentric in some way like the main six, I feel like its too closely pulling from main characters, and thus lacking much originality. But if I shy away from that, I feel like the character has little depth, or is too undefined and as a result 'very generic'. Not that there is anything wrong with either style, but I just feel like I cant find the balance I'd like. Maybe it just means I haven't decided how I want my character to be realistically and acceptably unique, but not attention-hog-self-important-special.
  19. i'd say 80% of my friends end up liking it as well, but think i'm a bit nutty at first, and 20% are either apathetic, or think I'm weird. No family members yet though xD
  20. Check the requests part of the forum: viewforum.php?f=50 Seriously, people have been giving out art or art trades over there. I'm kind of in the same boat. Except I feel like any character I make is just too lame
  21. 26, was introduced because my sweetheart was getting into it. Lucky me for that I had some toys when I was young between my sister and I, but I wasn't actually much into the series at all. I liked it more than other things at the time I suppose, but I didn't watch much television even as a child. I really didn't expect to get pulled into the series as much as I've become entangled in it. Sometimes its a mite embarrassing, as I think I'm probably borderline obsessed, and may like the series more than my sweetheart; she teases me But I cant help but love it. Not to sound all dramatic-y, but I think I like something about the innocence or purity that I miss so much, having been thrust into the real 'adult' world these last few years. Strangely enough I find a lot of strength in it now. Its nice to have something to just be into again; as so much has become about bills, living accommodations, career, money, and responsibility. Its my escape to enjoyment, sometimes I wish I could escape even more
