Perhaps this is some kind of food themed amusement park ride?Ever since we saw Cheerilee's 80's photo, everyone has known that she's a pony who likes to party and dance.

Eighties Cheerilee is pretty much happy sauce for me. I just need a figuring version of that.

getting art of oner's character is the highest compliment.

My only complaint is the outer glow doesn't bring forward the text, the glow needs to be brighter and more even around the letters to really bring the text forward and make it easiest to read.

That is pretty awesome. It makes me realize that with Pegasi magic, they'd be experts at creating snow sculptures and snow forts. I mean, if they can make buildings out of clouds, it makes sense they could make a snow pony that stands off the ground.

One way to get subtle shading with copics is to lay the same color again on the areas you want slightly darker, which works with Copic Sketch markers. For darker shades, what works will is to lay the complementary color over the original, as they are on the opposite sides of the color wheel, the area will be darker and less saturated.

Its very cute so far The only thing I can think of as a critique is maybe move his wings down on his body a tad.

Cool character concept thus far.

There is absolutely nothing wrong with looking at reference material when creating your own poses and situations; in fact it is the smart thing to do. You only want to draw them directly from memory without looking at images only once you are so used to drawing the character that you remember exactly what they look like without picture reference and not before.

As for the background, what it does suffer from is lack of perspective. The lines in the floor should be converging as they are receding in the image towards the horizon.

I'd be curious to know how many frames of work went into this in the end; the motion is so fluid.
