1. Roleplay Type: World of Equestria

    Name: Locke Wind

    Sex: Male

    Age: Young Stallion

    Species: Unicorn

    Eye colour: Dark Blue

Coat: Coat colour is a charcoal grey.

Mane/Tail: Locke's mane and tail are both are dark black colour. His mane is not very long and parted to one side. He has one strand separated form the rest of his mane. That part has a small red bead in it. His tail is quite long actually. It doesn't touch the ground though.

Accessories: He wears a dark brown archaeologist hat.

Physique: Locke has a slender build to him. He eats quite a bit though..but he never seems to get bigger.

    Residence: Canterlot

    Occupation: Archaeologist

Cutie Mark: A shovel and a pick axe crossed

Locke, like most ponies, got his cutie mark at a young age. He was among one of the first of his schoolmates to get his cutie mark as well. Throughout his days at school during recess Locke would always be seen in the sandbox. He would always love to pretend that he was some great adventurer and would pretend to be on some incredible journey and then have his fascinating world ripped away from him whenever the teacher would tell them recess was over. At a young age Locke had always been interested in archaeology. Even though he had no idea what that was...his father knew he was. One thing that helped fuel his love of archaeology was that his father would often read Daring Do novels to young Locke before he went to bed. He would go to sleep with his head filled with feats of danger that the mare took on. He would try and force himself to dream about doing the same things she did.

Then one day after Locke came home from school he rushed him to find that his father had gotten him pretty much the greatest gift he had even gotten in his entire life. Not only did his father give him an adventurer hat...but, he also gave him...a shovel! A shovel fit for Locke's size that is. Now, most ponies would not think those two things to be great gifts at all. But, Locke saw them differently. So Locke's father placed it on his head and it was pretty much glued there. It was rather large for him and always fell down in his face. He paid no mind to it. That same afternoon Locke spent hours and hours digging up holes in his backyard. Most of the holes he dug up contained nothing. Until, Locke dug a hole with his tiny spade and found the greatest treasure of all. Two bits! The two coins were disgusting and muddy and rusted but to Locke, they were the two most beautiful things he had ever seen. So Locke ran inside to tell his parents what he had uncovered. His father gave him a smile and congratulated him on his find. But to Locke's surprise, the two coins weren't the only thing Locke acquired while digging up the ground. He had acquired his grand cutie mark.

History: Locke was born and raised in Trottingham but moves to Canterlot when he was old enough. His mother was a big time city pony that love the city life and being the center of attention and his father did as well. But his father was more laid back than Locke's mother. Growing up for Locke was a great time. He had quite a lot of friends and never enough time to do things with all of them. Though most of his time consisted of playing Adventurers at school during recess. He still wasn't all about that. His friends knew he loved that kind of stuff and they respected him for it. Locke's parents and he got along very well. But Locke always seemed to get along with his father easier. He loved his parents and they loved him as well and they all knew it. For life for Locke now, it is great! That's what anypony would say if you asked him/her if they got to do their dream job for the rest of their life. He works at the Canterlot Museum of History. While he is still a bit younger than most ponies he looks forward to the things he will get to see and do. Locke feels that he would not be where he is today if it weren't for his parents. While his mother didn't get him his gifts...he still feels as though she had an important role in it and he knows she supports him. Locke hopes that one day he will find the greatest discovery in ponykind and will be able to put it on display for everypony to see!

    Character Summary:

Motivation: Locke wants to visit every historic site and never stop exploring. He has made a vow that he will keep his promise and find the greatest artifact of ponykind! Treat everyday as an adventure!

Locke is still hoping for that one day when he will be able to go that dangerous adventure and barely escape traps and solve amazing puzzles and discover ancient truths! But, that day has yet to happen. And it may never. Which depresses Locke. This constant hope has helped shape Locke's personality and change his overall well being. Locke excels at spotting things that are out of the ordinary. He figures that is necessary whenever he and his coworkers are doing archaeology work on a site. Through his job Locke has learned to love reading and water. He loves water oh so much. While he is on work he often worries that he won't be able to find anything good. He knows that he is young and often worries that the older ponies will look down on him. That's why whenever he is on the job he often tries to prove them wrong. One of Locke's dislikes is just that. Ponies who think they can best him or anypony at anything.

Behavior in general for Locke. He is a very straightforward and will often tell ponies what he thinks about them rather quickly. He often says what he is thinking out loud and sometimes makes a fool of himself. As for fools, Locke loves a good joke. He always loves to tell the jokes and loves hearing them even more. Locke has no problem with making friends, so long as they can stand his talking. He loves to talk as well. He could just look in a mirror and entertain himself for hours. Being born and raised for those years in Trottngham gave him an accent. If a pony can stand an accent that always wears a hat. They can stand Locke. Locke does not like ponies commenting on his hat.

For hobbies, Locke loves to read. Also, Locke likes to enjoy a nice cup of tea of coffee with his friends every now and then. He likes to just sit and relax as well. He loves to see shows and performances and talk about other pony's professions. Other pony's jobs interests him. As well as cutie marks. They interest him as well.

Locke is not perfect in any bit. He has his faults. One major one is that he rushes into things way to quickly. When something interests him he rushes in and just doesn't stop until he feels like he is done. When he is like this, he doesn't seem to focus and that can cause problems when he is searching a site. Locke can not keep a secret. He always seems to blurt it out a few hours after he heard it. But then again, Secrets don't make friends.

The young stallion looks forward to what he will find in life. He plans to stick to treating every day as an adventure.

  2. Ruby awoke and stirred herself out of her bed. She had had a wonderful nights sleep and realized she needed to get ready for the day. So, Ruby started to get herself ready and she did her daily morning routine. As she finished getting ready she brushed her mane and then stopped and looked at herself in the mirror. She looked at herself and couldn't help but feel...that something was...off. She looked over her face from many different angels..but she just couldn't seem to pinpoint what was wrong. "Aha!" Then it hit her. She wasn't wearing her bow! How could she forget her bow! So, Ruby found the pink bow of her's and put it in her mane.

So with her morning preparations done, Ruby decided it was time to head down to her shop and open it up and start her day. Ruby then trotted out of her room and made her way past her sister's room.

"Emmy! I'm going to the shop!"

She then waited to see if she would hear a response...but she didn't She almost went in and checked on her but she decided not to. She figured her sister was still sleeping.

Ruby took off and hit the streets of the Crystal Empire. Oh how she loved it here. The brightness and the colours. Everything was amazing. As she made her way down the road she gave a few friendly waves to passing ponies and kept on moving. Ruby then reached her shop. Her own little corner of paradise. She hadn't been working a long time so she was, and is, still getting used to the fact that she has her own store. A store that is devoted to what she loves none the less. Fashion! She gets to make and tailor clothes for anypony and everypony!

So Ruby looked around her shop and made sure everything was ready to go. She had a few items on display and then went and propped open her door. She then moved over to one of the windows and flipped over the sign which now read, "Open!" She sighed a happy and nervous sigh. She was sure today would be great. She wondered if anypony would come in..

Heart was in Fillydelphia for a week already and was about to return home to his place in Trottingham when he caught wind of something that sounded like great fun to him. Speed dating at the Prancing Pony. Heart had been to this Prancing Pony before, and also he had never tried speed dating before. So Heart was a bit more nervous than he usually was. But, Heart encouraged himself to go. It would be good and fun for him. He could make new friends and all that good stuff. Though first things first, he had to find the Prancing Pony to actually begin this.

And find it he did! After a few wrong turns and a few awkward entrances to wrong places Heart had found out that reading signs above buildings really helps. He looked up above and checked to make sure he saw Prancing Pony. Which he did so he entered.

Upon entering the tavern he saw that either he wasn't the only one here for speed dating or all these other ponies come here. It didn't bother him though, he saw some pretty interesting ponies.

So he moved on in and picked up one of the speed dating forms. He then found a nice seat by himself and sat down. He started to look over the form and put down his honest answers on the questions. That's what he figured every other pony was doing. After a few minutes Heart had filled out the form and was ready to go. He looked up and saw no where to turn in the form so he just held onto it.

He hoped this would be fun.

  4. As the two minuted hate ended Winston became agitated. He hated how for only two minutes they could talk like that. But in reality they couldn't even talk normally. Not here in Canterlot. Canterlot demands order and rules that the Everyponies have to abide by. If they don't they are...

Winston looked back at Flash and just before he was about to speak a mare trotted past both he and Flash. The mare was pink and she had a bright yellow mane.. She dropped a note on their table very discreetly. Winston took the note and calmly read it.

It read, "I know what you two are going through. The three of us must meet. Meet me at the castle gardens in a half hour."

Winston froze. An everypony that felt the same way as him and Flash? An Everypony that knew...of the someponies? Wait..an Everypony that knew of Flash and Winston's thoughts? Winston became even more nervous but he didn't want to let it show. Winston then slowly took the not and moved closer to Flash. He made no sounds and no sudden movements. As he finished moving the note he blinked and let his eyes scan around the room. He felt as if his moving of the note was very stealthy and that nopony saw it. But...the first thing Winston saw was that poster.

    "Mother Celestia is watching you."

Winston realized that she had seen everything. Mother Celestia saw what he did, she saw what just happened. She has seen and will see everything.

  5. Winston had no idea what time it was. He needed to know. He frantically moved his hooves around the table and started to sweat. "I just get so tired of my work..the lies. I can't...I can't keep spreading them Flash!" Winston sighed a deep sigh. "I only want the truth. But...the moderators of the ministry..they..won't let me speak the truth." Winston took a heavy sigh again. "I'm sure you experience the same thing." He looked over and saw the two someponies still talking with each other. He wanted..to leave.

  6. Winston carried on with his small laughter. He looked around and realized that they were good and safe. So he thought. "Look Flash, you know what I know and I know what you know. We can't be here." He then scanned over his shoulders and then back over Flash's again. His voice was quieter. "We need to get out. But." Winston then put his head in his hooves. He growled a bit. "This is so frustrating." Winston tried to look over to see the Nopony that was tossed aside by the Somepony. But he couldn't find him.

"We need to be careful." Winston looked back at Flash.

  7. Winston watched as his friend nearly choked to death on the "food". Winston glanced down at the receipt that was on Flash's food tray. It read, "One Friendship Special." Winston grimaced at the disgusting slop that laid before Flash. Winston would probably eat the same meal tomorrow. And the next day, and the next day. "Work?" Winston kept his nervousness down as he scanned the room again. There was a somepony standing near the entrance. He was with another somepony and the were chatting with each other. Only...each other. Winston saw a small Nopony trot up to the large Somepony and he simply rejected the pony. He cast the pony away and Winston wanted to pony to get mad at the Somepony. To rise up..but the nopony simply laughed and said..."Thank you!" Why? Why would that pony do that?

Just then the somepony stallion looked over at him. Winston looked back to Flash and quickly said, "Work was fine. Good." He smiled a half smile. He had gotten a small glimpse at that Somepony when he looked at him. He was rather tall. Winston didn't know his name so he decided to call him, "Star".

Then a large buzzing was played in the cafe. Then..the same somepony that looked at Winston moved in front of all of them and said, "Friends..my dear..friends. Let the Two minute hate. Begin." He gave all the noponies smiles and went back. Winston looked over at the other ponies and then back to Flash. He realized that they were the only two Everyponies in the Chat area. Winston looked up and noticed that the Somepony was looking at Flash's back. Trying to get him to turn over. He was inspecting him. Winston needed to do something. "So that food there. I heard it's pretty great. Not compared to the food at that other cafe down the street!" Winston then...let out a laugh..He noticed that the Somepony looked away and went back to his business.

  8. Winston nodded to Flash as he told him work was good. It's not everyday when you have a job like Flash's. But Winston hated his job. He hated working for the Ministry. He hated it..he hated it...but he also loved it. His job was to basically rewrite history. To lie. But just then Winston noticed that the waitress was waiting for him to place an order.Winston glanced over at Flash and grimaced at the though of eating a special. He knew that the "Someponies" got better food than they did. He hated it. So Winston shook his head. "Nothing, thanks." He gave her a small smile and watched her walk away.

Winston turned back to Flash. He stared at him right in his eyes. "I don't understand how you are going to eat that." He didn't laugh. Laughter caused commotion which could lead to raised suspicions.

Where they were...they were safe though. Or so Winston though. They were in a cafe...it served as a type of Chatroom for the Noponies and Everyponies to chat with each other. And there was the occasional Somepony that popped in and got many a praise from the Noponies. But when they received the praise they would ignore them and simply talk to themselves privately or wait for another Somepony to show up. They usually would wait and catch any unsuspecting ponies and learn about them. Learn their interests, and more importantly..learn their weakness. The Someponies were a brutal and violent group. They liked to keep the Noponies stupid and happy. While demanding and threatening the Everyponies. Such as Winston and Flash. But thankfully...there were not someponies around.

  9. He was there! He was alive and well and breathing and still kicking...his friend...Flash..was..alive. Winston sighed a quick sigh of relief and then got up to greet his friend. "Yes lovely weather indeed." He gave him possibly the smallest smile he could have given a pony. His movements were slow as he had no plans to draw attention to him or Flash. So Winston glanced over Flash's shoulders quickly and managed to catch that same poster again only in a different place

    "Mother Celestia is watching you."

Winston saw a few ponies standing by the poster staring at it in awe. He wanted to go over and push them away and just tear the poster apart and....Then a sudden spark went off in his brain and he looked away from the poster. Winston turned his eyes back to Flash. "I assume that your work went well? Everything..alright?" He wanted to look over his shoulder so badly..but he knew if he did then "They" would become suspicious. So he stayed calm and played it cool.

  10. (All I ask is that you read this through. Think of reading this as a project you want to finish. You want to see it through and you want to finish it. That's all I ask. It's not that hard of a task. Just a few mouse clicks and some scrolling and scanning over the words. Pay attention to the words and please.. stay with me. We beg you. Please read this and follow along with it. )

    Canterlot. Canterlot. Canterlot.

What do you think of Canterlot? Great and peaceful? Fancy, loving, full of kindness? We used to think that as well. Most ponies don't even think about it here in Canterlot but, someponies have yet to realize it.

Here in Canterlot we see a young stallion. His name is Everypony. Now, he has a genuine name that his best friend and acquaintances call him, and that would be Winston.

Now Winston lives here in Canterlot. He moved here a few months ago and was greeted with a very warm welcome. He was treated right and he even had some ponies help him if he had questions. He also made a few friends along the way. But for now, only two of them see the truth.

Winston doesn't talk much about what he has realized. The common brown earth pony doesn't really talk about much anyways. Nopony really talks about much if your somewhat of a somepony. But all of the so called "noneponies" are oblivious to what is really going on. What is behind those screens. That's another thing, the "someponies" will make sure that you know they are a "somepony". The will speak softly to you at first at welcome you, but if you get in their way or slip up in the slightest they will take you. They will take you.

There is a third type of pony here in Canterlot. We have the "Somponies" and also the "Noponies". But the third class is what Winston and his friend belong to. They are part of the "Everyponies." Noponies are left behind, forgotten. But welcomed and respected for about a day by the someponies. The "Someponies" demand respect and order and will make sure they get their way.

The "Everyponies" are commanded by the Someponies. They are just to naive to realize it. The "Everyponies" respect the "Noponies" but the "Noponies" only want recognition from the "Somponies". It's a messed up place once you realize it here in Canterlot

Just as Winston stopped talking in his head he looked across the room he was sitting in. He saw a poster with Celestia on it. The poster was red with their princess's head on the front and a very very prominent sentence of text on the poster.

    "Mother Celestia is watching you."

The poster had Celestia's eyes...so ...big. And they seemed to follow you where ever you went. There was no hiding from them, she always watched you. She watched Everypony. There were hundreds of those posters. They were everywhere.

Just then Winston spit out the cider he was drinking. His spit take was followed with a disgusted "Aghhh" and a few grunts. This "Friendship" Cider was the most disgusting thing he had ever tasted. But he drank it almost everyday. He knew that if he was quick he could try and swipe some "Harmony" Cider. But that cider was only for the "Somponies." Winston was not a "Somepony".

So Winston continued to play their game. He waited and waited without making a sound or moving a muscle. He was waiting here for his friend. He needed to talk to him. So Winston scanned the room. There didn't seem to be any guards. Guards was such a harsh name for the ponies so Winston liked to call them D's. He had no idea why but he just did. So Winston scanned once again. No sign of D anywhere. So he continued to wait. He wondered if his friend would show up. He hoped that he was alright. He worried himself with the thoughts about his friend. He started to get scared. He calmed himself down...and continued to wait. He took a very quick gulp of his cider and grimaced at the after taste. He waited some more. His eyes glanced up at the poster.

    "Mother Celestia is watching you."

    He quickly looked away.
