Species: Earth Pony

Eye colour: Light Green

Coat: His coat is a light brown. Tan.

Mane/Tail: Heart's mane is very short when it comes to length and how far down it goes to his neck. It doesn't reach his neck at all really. There is a small tuff of his mane that puffs up higher than the rest of his mane. The front part is moved to the side and it doesn't go past his eyes.

His tail is somewhat long but it does not reach the floor. His tail and mane are both a solid brown colour

Physique: Heart is smaller than the average stallion. Well what ponies call "average". But he is a pony that does not care about his physique. He knows he is smaller than most and he is proud of who he is.

Residence: Trottingham

Occupation: Heart works in the medical field. A doctor.

Cutie Mark: Heart got his cutie mark when he was young. As do most ponies. But his cutie mark is a big red heart with a jagged line through it. The line has it's ups and downs. It flatlines at a few points. But overall the line is jagged. The line is a bight yellow and it only goes across the span of the heart from one side to the next.

Now the story: Heart realized that he had a love for medical type things when he was young and still in school. He was out on the playgroud with his friends and they were having a great time. But as always good times have to end and one of Heart's friends ended up falling down and getting a small scrape on their knee. Now for a stallion or older pony the scrape would be nothing. But to a small colt like Heart's friend. It seemed serious. Once the little colt received the injury Heart immediately searched for the Classroom Teacher. She was nowhere to be found. Scared and nervous the young Heart decided to try to treat his friend's injury. He quickly trotted over and pulled out a few napkins from another fillies lunchbox. She wasn't using them anyways. Heart then helped his friend clean up and ultimately got the young colt a band aid and the scrape healed.

Then time passed and Heart kept that memory close. He realized that he wanted to do something medical related but didn't know exactly what. That was until one day Heart decided to pay his grandmother a visit to her home. He had not seen her in a while now. She was far older than he remembered. She was getting old (as most elders do) and didn't want to tell Heart that she may not live much longer. Not knowing this Heart talked and conversed with his Grandmother like there was no tomorrow. The young pony knew not of his Grandmother's illness. And she never told him. But while she was talking with her little grandpony her heart seemed to light up so to speak. She forgot all about her illness and loved every minute she spoke with her little grandpony. And he loved it as well.

And on that day Heart received his cutie mark.

Now that Heart is older he feels like he knows what his cutie mark means. The heart is just a heart really and the line that is on the heart...well it represents the life of the heart. We have the good times in life or the high jags in the line. The low and bad times in life or the low lines. And the times when nothing is happening. Or the straight line. Heart feels like it is his destiny to help monitor the hearts of ponies and keep them healthy.

History: Heart was born and raised in Trottingham. He never left the city. Life for Heart growing up was decent. It was the life of any average pony growing up. He had a mother and father that loved him very much. Though when he was growing up one of the things he looked forward to everyday was going to school. He loved seeing his friends and things. But mostly he loved learning! In school...he was one of the eggheads in his class. But his friends were still nice to him about it. They didn't make fun of how much he loved learning. Growing up with Heart's parents was a swell time! His parents loved and respected him! But you know..they were parents and had to enact discipline a few times. But overall they were nice parents.

As for Heart's life now. He is living alone. He works every now and then at a local hospital. His job is regular so he has no worries for bits. He lives a good life and loves pretty much every second of it. Heart got to where he is really with the support of his parents and some of the community. Turns out things go a long way when you are nice to everypony. He feels like he is supported by a lot of ponies in Trottingham. Even though he has never left the city of Trottingham. He hopes one day to travel to many different cities and places. Maybe work in different hospitals

Character Summary: Heart feels like he excels at identifying wounds on ponies. Also certain problems a pony might be having if no wound is present. But with working in Hospitals Heart feels like he should always know a pony's would so he can help them. He loves his job. His motivation is seeing other ponies become happy. Working in Hospitals he has seen pegasi sitting in their rooms waiting on their injuries to heal. He has stopped and chatted with them and reassured them that they will fly again soon. Seeing other ponies be happy is another thing he loves. Heart knows he is no psychologist and doesn't intend to try and go through any type of process to become one. What would that require..cutie mark surgery? Not possible! But Heart leaves the psychological problems to the professionals. He simply reinforces good thoughts. Heart, as you probably know, loves to see ponies happy. He loves to see how a pony feels after they have visited the hospital. He loves going home and studying. One might call him a book worm. He loves a good book. And loves the challenge of reading a book he finds bad. He loves to sometimes just sit out a watch the clouds. Even though he is stuck to the earth. In his mind he can fly. He loves his friends and family! But now..Heart hates nothing more than unappreciative ponies. He respects all ponies but when one comes in and claims he and his fellow workers did nothing to help him/her. He almost loses it on the pony. Heart also hates..seeing a sad pony (yeah I know). But the one thing that Heart hates more than anything. Is the dark. He absolutely hates the dark. Can't stand it. He sleeps with one of his lights on every night.

As for hobbies Heart loves to read. At one point he tried to write his own book but he quit after the first few sentences. He realized that he is not a writer. Another hobby of his is studying. He feels like his knowledge can always expand. He wants to learn as much as he can!

As for Heart behaving in general...he tends to be kind of socially awkward at first. He will sometimes go off on rants about medical things or just randomly say what he is thinking. But Heart is a nice pony. He just doesn't seem approachable at first. But, he is a nice pony. Heart never really says the first word when it comes to meeting knew ponies. But he is always open to the old meet and greet. He had friends when he was little..

One of Heart's biggest faults is his fear of not being able to help a pony that needs help. When a pony comes in needing help he has a mixture of nervousness and eagerness. It could be the same feeling but Heart likes to say they are different.

But this fault can hurt Heart when he is trying to help. He gets so scared that he can actually make the wrong decision on a pony. He has actually done that once or twice. Which is why it still scares him.

That was one of Heart's biggest fears...but his second biggest fear..is the Dark. He hates it. Never wants to see any of it., He wishes the sun could stay out all day.

He always gets nervous when the sun starts to go down. He usually has a light on in his house.

And as for worries..he worries for the ponys that he can't help. Or doesn't get to try to help. He just wants everypony to be happy and healthy.

Excellent app! Well written, all of the required fields are filled. As the RPer of Dr. Stable and Nurse Starflower, I do have a 'heart' (excuse the pun) for medical professional ponies such as this one.

Well done!!!

The only potential snag I could see is if a Senior RP Staffer questioned the name, but I think the name is just fine.

I really like this app, and want to stamp it, however, there is one small issue I see.

This passage:

Heart works in the medical field. A doctor per say. But he is no mystery doctor. He is NOT a time lord. I am making no Doctor Who reference with this OC

I know it's intended as a joke, but this is really not necessary in the application. As it is it's potentially confusing to present the information like this. Just saying he's a medical doctor should suffice. Not everyone is going to expect you're making Doctor Who references anyway.
